Been to LA about 8 times and it’s a fantastic city. Like any place it has it’s bad sides but it has so much to offer and do. Probably for most tourists it’s biggest drawback is how vast and spread out It is when you include the greater LA area. Definitely need access to a car to truly enjoy.
please do come to LA. There's a ton of amazing things to do here - including totally free ones like becoming a part of TV show audiences (for Jimmy Kimmel and the kind), and even watching movies that will be released 6-12 months from now - without paying a cent for it :)
This video is gorgeous exactly like you are ☺️☺️ May I add two places that as a tourist I might say… must ? 1) The Bowl. You can book a concert at the bowl via their app. and have a picnic before the concert bringing food from home ( wine as well ) or buy it over there. 2) Huntington library and gardens at Pasadena. Beautiful collection of books and amazing gardens. Very nice restaurant to have lunch out door
Been to LA last week and i can say that before going there I’m watching all your videos. Love all your videos! Very interactive and detailed. From Edmonton 🇨🇦.
I'm going to California for the first time in April! So excited and cannot wait to check out some of the places in this video! Hoping to one day move there! Had enough of the miserable British weather!
Make sure you get a car. If you want the best Mexican food in LA go to El Tepeyac in East LA. There is nothing to see around it and it’s in the hood but everyone goes there because the food is soooo good.

Hey Michael! Cheers from Brazil. My wife and I will be travelling to LA in november, so, we've been watching your videos and they are really helpful! Thanks so much!
Thank you! Your Chanel such a comfort for me. I’m planning to move here in 1.5 if everything goes at best, but you never know. I’m happy so that you show the good, the bad and ugly in your channel. I mean this video is very helpful, because, first i wanna see what everyone can unlock. I do wanna move because of the great outdoors, and good weather, and this is perfect for me to start exploring while i cant be there physically. Thank u again
loveeeeeddddd this! thank you so much this was the best video ive seen so far and ive watched at least 15-20, ill be going to LA for the first time in 2 weeks. now i need one on the best form of transportation when visiting LA cause i know we can’t bike everywhere and everything is like an hour apart
Thank you Michael for an amazing video. I am from the UK and was hoping to visit this year. However will have to be next year as lots going on. Great sights and I now have a very good idea of sights to see thanks to you. Definitely will have Griffith Observatory as number 1 on the list. Early morning of course LOL. Have a blessed day.🙂👍
Thanks!! I'm planing a trip for LA and these are most things I want to do. Thanks for not mentioning parks or studio visits, because that's all that pops when you look for things to do...
this video made my day ... glad to see this . Im from Manila and im heading to LA in about 2 weeks from now .... I really appreciate this video and the way you presented everything. BTW I gave ur IG a follow. Hope to see u around Michael
Hey Michael. I am coming to visit your city for the first time in September 2023. I am celebrating my birthday there! Thank you for the great video. PS all the way from Cape Town, South Africa here.
My fiancé and I are getting married in Vegas in October and making a stop in LA as part of our trip. Just wanted to say thanks for your amazing content. It's been such a help for us when planning our LA itinerary!
❤ thank you for the nice guide! We’ve been to Los Angeles multiple times but I’ve never seen some of the places that you introducing this video. We’re planning a trip soon and certainly will check them out.❤
Hi Michael! Great videos as usual! Having been to LA for 3 weeks, and back in the last few weeks I can say my favorite part is West Hollywood. For a low budget tourist, with no car, LA is not the friendliest city. I'm an expert on public transportation, though :P My only recommendation is to only plan an hour at the most for Hollywood Boulevard. And specially don't go there at night unless you have a car. Thanks for the video!
Perfect timing! Am planning a trip for later this month and have been struggling with how to prioritize what to do/see 😅 Griffith at sunrise seems like a much better idea than sunset! Might just have to cap off my trip with a song at the pier as well! Keep up the awesome work!

On my first vacation to LA back in the late 90's, I ran into a lot of celebrities. I was on the Hollywood walk of Fame when they presented Drew Carey a star. I had pictures taking with Drew Carey, Jennifer Tilly and other famous people attending. Next I walked about few hundred feet, and came across Alec Baldwin. He was filming the movie Providence at the Guinness Book of record attraction. After the Hollywood area we head down to the 3rd street Promenade in Santa Monica. There was some kind of martial artist exhibition hosted by Robin Shou, the actor who played Liu Kang on Mortal Kombat. We took picture with him and was invited to his movie premiere. We then went down to the beach. Walking between Santa Monica and Venice beach, we came across another filming. They had plywood panels laid out over sand and Rob Lowe was right in front of us smoking a cigarette. Didn't want to bother him so we just walked by him. The whole cast of the West wing was filming right on the beach. All this celebrities sighting was within 2 hours. Back then we thought movie stars were every where in LA. We now live in LA and haven't seen any since that day. All we see now are tourist and homeless people
For sure we will see each other again. Again a great video with wonderful pictures and very interesting information. Don’t no what to do first and how to cover most of your recommendations. Can’t wait to be back in California again. This time we will spend more time in LA as last time. Would be funny to see you randomly filming one of your vlog’s 😅
I live in Los Angeles and many of what you have described are some of my fav (except Hollywood and the Pier). Yes! Hollywood has bad vibes! 😂 ! Thank you for sharing this great vide!
So far LA is my favorite city!, I don’t know why exactly but i alllllwayyyys enjoy being in LA. Ive been thinking about moving to there but i’m scared of the expensive life there (and i hate that there is always an issue with parking lots) 😂 100000% recomended. Also ive been there like 10 times and i always get a 75dlls parking ticket 😒🥲 i guess now is part of my budget😂😂😂
I live in Idaho with roommates. I always wanted to move to LA because it’s the entertainment industry. But we had no idea it can be really expensive 😂😭
This is going to sound so tacky lol, but I honestly thought it was just another travel guide video at first and I was in tears by the end of it haha! I've always had mixed feelings about LA - been there a few times and going again soon and it is definitely not what Hollywood movies have made it out to be (especially here in Europe where I'm from). So seeing the famous Walk of Fame in real life was a disappointment to say the least. And the homelessness crisis is even more heartbreaking to witness in person! However, LA has so much charm and hidden gems and you really showed the best of it all. That combined with the background music, beautiful shots and your genuine love for the city made me so sentimental for a place that has never been my home but a place I am now super excited to return to again soon!! Thank youuu
This seems to be a very interesting and fun place, I hope to be there someday. Sharing and experience places like that is why I also love making videos. Keep up the good job! Subscribed!!

To people who have never seen the U.S. in person, I always say, “America isn’t Hollywood. Hollywood isn’t even Hollywood.” 😀
Great video! I’m planning a trip in October. Looking forward to seeing the sites you recommend!
