This video is cry of pain. I'm relating to everything here. Also, i hate finding some good mon, in reborn for example, with at least decent ivs, decent nature and with the ability i need, because sometimes it takes too much time to find one.
Finding good mons in early game Reborn is pretty much impossible and as much as I enjoyed that, it’s still frustrating sometimes. But yeah, I pretty much gave up with finding good IVs and good nature, abilities, etc when it came to early game. Late game, it’s not as bad cos of the mints and ability capsules and stuff.

Unfortunate doesn't even begin to describe my situation...
My issue with competitive is that it's starting to be used as the standard to judge Pokemon.... which I dislike...
I like the nice variety of the Pokeworld...
I think not every Pokemon needs an evolution, that not all Pokemon need to be strong or have a niche...
There are over 1000 at this point.... it's fine for them to not all be good for tournaments....
Sure but GameFreak intentionally making some Pokemon weak, like almost every early game bug, and some being too strong like S/V's Paradox mons is frustrating regardless.
I would love to use Ledian or Kricktune because they look great but it they are so abysmally terrible there's absolutely no point in using it and GameFreak will never address these super low BST mons except when they do and only by 10 points like they did with Ariados for some reason.
It would just be nice if more Pokemon were usable for casual play.
Yea I dont have much of an issue with accuracy, most of the time you can come back from a single miss, and even when you can't you can just F12 in fan games or just queue up again on showdown

Spread moves should ignore evasion boosts so that there would be better counter play against them other than something niche like aerial ace or swift.

Competitive pokemon is bad cause things that arent 100% accurate aren't 100% accurate. idk what you expect
If I had to guess what they're going for here;
the usually inconsequential accuracy of moves for the main game, where they were intended for use, become a major contributor to the success or failure of matches, where missing a 90% accuracy move could change the outcome from a clean sweep to full defeat.
This makes competitive much less skill-based than it would be with an alternative system

but.... minimize is banned in smogon tiers???
Includes vgc as well. Also certain fan games (Reborn, Ashen Frost, etc) where you’re kind of required to know competitive knowledge depending on difficulty you choose
