All jokes aside, I hope you all enjoy my animated Nuzlocke of my first time play through of Pokemon White! Somehow I skipped this generation so I was excited to give it a go. Did you know that there is no fishing rod in this game until after the Elite 4? Because I sure as heck did not. Oh, or the fact that N heals all your Pokemon while you're in the Elite 4???

N was so touched that you felt sorry for him after Ghetsis was a jerk to him, that he chose to ignore the Nuzlocke rules to help you stop his father. Yeah, let's just go with that. 😆

The true first rule of Nuzlockes is "Have fun". Your run isn't tainted or ruined at all. You had fun and that is the truest form of Nuzlockes. Don't let anyone ever say otherwise.

Watching this journey animated after so long was so fun. Cinder wenting from hated to the last earlier survivor being extremely useful sleeper and retiring to have a happy family is easy the best thing ever

I love maractus, it helped me beat black version my first time by defeating the cofagrigus used by Ghetsis, allowing my team to defeat him without worrying about the mummy ability
I know that another trainer used a Lilligant called Dancer to sweep Clay's team. Proof that if you are having trouble beating Clay, just use a grass type to sweep his team! Or *maybe* a water type. (Ice types were not good back it the day...but they are in gen 9!)
I think the Ghetsis fight was fair. I mean, you don’t get a chance to run back to a Pokémon center between N and Ghetsis, so you wouldn’t have been able to heal nor switch your team around, which is probably why N heals your Pokémon in the first place.
Yea I just super wasn’t expecting a full party heal in the elite four 🤷🏻♀️ still made for an interesting fight
I feel like every time I've watched someone play through a Unova game and they have a Scraggy/Scrafty, it ends up putting in major work. I would vote for Shaggy as MVP. Also, this video is just so much fun! I love the through line with Cinder.
Scrafty can wall 3 out of 4 if the elite 4 so he’s an awesome Pokémon to get 👍👍
Well that cause moxie is a broken ability. As free +1 atk on every kho makes running away with the game easy.
Actually, there is a revive clause for Nuzlockes. If an NPC gives you revives, you can use those revives, or if an NPC heals your team and ends up healing a fainted mon on your team, you can use it.

I remember watching a lot of this live. What a great time! And those crits were all bs lol. My favorite part both live and in this video was the Cinder & Cinderella love story. E4 prep was nuts, you can be really good at strategy when given some time to prep. I'd love to see you play a challenge game, maybe not Kaizo right off the bat but maybe like Radical Red or something

Pokémon White was the first pokémon game I ever played, and I loved it so much. Zekrom is, to this day, my favorite legendary.

I think you could have won this regardless of the resurrection of Toad, so I'd definitely still consider it a win! Also, the most important rule is rule 0.5: play in whatever way allows you to have the most fun! Very well played and a very nice video

Huh, N brought Toad back to life....thanks? But seriously Seismitoad is a big help with his poison touch ability when we are down to our last Pokémon and Hugo the Seismitoad was the one who got me the win.
Seismitoad is really great against ghetsis which is why I wanted him in the first place - welp lol

My brain completely heard my lack of gang knowledge, not my lack of game knowledge, and it was perfect timing sub was absolutely worth it.
I swear the crit rate in Black and White is super high. I lost my nuzlockes on White a couple of times cuz of crits. How can you play around the crit when your switch in that was supposed to tank the boss gets critted three times in a row xD Not even a Frost Breath or a move with high crit rate like Slash. A regular move, three times lol
Yeah it did feel like the crits always come at the most inconvenient times xD but it wouldn't be pokemon without RNG

I feel like there should be a extra rule of doing a nuzlocke which should be that if one of your pokemon die during a important battle that had been revived by the trainer that help you or battle you,you can still continue using that pokemon until it die again

Fun fact about ghetsis, his Hydreigon in b2w2 is the only npc pokemon to have minimum friendship in the series, which can be shown off when it uses frustration
I don’t think it has the move frustration on the b/w set lmao it just be a hater for real

honestly mistakes happens, especially when youre in the heat of the moment, while technically using toad would be a "disqualification" you can also make up a rule since N basically revived it and besides, its your nuzlock, your rules, just do whatever its fun for you

Basically describing the reality of playing through games on harder difficulties for me: Not the win, it's the challenge and journey that make the end of it all the more enjoyable.
That being said I also play on easy sometimes just to chill xD

Dude that ending made feel confident again to play my Pokémon Nuzlocke Sword & Shield. I was on a hiatus until playing it on September 17th and gave it a shot though I may lost many along the way I was grinding with my heart's content and bonding like it's not tomorrow. I tried to do a randomized Gen 1 nuzlocke, but lost a bunch of times from the first gym, and the trainers in the Viridian Forest.
After watching this I think I'll keep going either randomized again, or a regular Heart Gold run. Thank you for relighting my candle and I'm sure you'll get a better chance in another one

For those who are new to Bw Nuzlockes, here are the parts of the game you need to watch out:
- (Maybe) Whatever Elemental Monkey at the 1st Gym cuz of Work up
- Lenora's Watchog (You know why)
- N's Sigilyph (and that one Sigilyph trainer at relic castle) cuz they are just strong
- NPCs that have Emolgas that SPAM double team
- Elesa fight cuz she is annoying
- Clay cuz Excadrill is dangerous
-Hikers that have both Boldore and Gurdurr
- (Maybe) That one ace Trainer with a Archen in Chargestone cave
- That triple battle ace trainer at Route 7 cuz it's a Triple battle
- NPCs that have Darmanitan cuz it's a Darmanitan
- Some of the Cheren fights (Maybe)
- Veteran trainer classes NPCS cuz they mostly have strong Pokemon
- The Entire Twist Mountain
- Drayden or Iris
- The last Cheren fight
- The Entire Endgame (Elite four, N and Ghetsis)

Yessss gen 5 is goated! Honestly there are very few actually bad Pokémon in the black/white roster and I'm very glad to see that you managed to get such a diverse team. Seeing Maractus solo Clay was immensely satisfying hehe.
For an MVP I would definitely have to pick Shaggy. He carried a lot of fights after he evolved. Maybe it's just my bias because your animation of him pulling Work Up then summoning rain had my hype as heck. Kudos! 😁😁😁
Shaggy definitely was a super clutch catch when I realized that he's super effective against 3 of the 4 elite 4 xD I used so many pokemon this run it really showed me the range available in this game!

Kale’s evolution reminded me of when I Nuzlocked Black 2. I lost my starter to a random trainer while grinding for the Nimbasa gym, but my Golbat, Ariel, avenged him and evolved into Crobat through the power of friendship. Ariel was the star of my team until I lost her to one of Drayden’s gym trainers.

idk if thats your fault. one thing i hated as the pokemon games went on was that they kept making it easier and easier (and no, i am not talking about the EXP share. thats one of the best things theyve ever done). they completely heal up your pokemon and dont give you a chance to use the PC, meaning that those playing by nuzlocke rules might be using a pokemon that is technically dead. they do this in gen 6 too before fighting AZ. granted, you didnt have to switch in to toad, but still... seems unfair. either way, congrats on the first gen 5 nuzlocke!
