When are they going to put the S class optical drill blueprint back in the Anomaly?
Not sure but if you have completed the Omega Expedition, the Atlas Sceptre has one already built-in. You can store that tech and install it on your favorite multi tool in the meantime. The sceptre can be claimed in the quicksilver vendor inside the Anomaly.
@AzraelAlpha that's not the point in a new save you should have to purchase the blueprint like before that way you don't have to take tech out of another multitool.

@AzraelAlpha it's all cool. I reported it. We need everyone to get on and report it so they can fix it next patch. It might take a new update to fix it. That's one of the first things I get during an expedition and put in a power slot in the multitool so I can get 80% more and instead of 50% more. Hopefully they didn't take it out on purpose.

There's chat in NMS? Been playing (on PC) since launch and never seen it. This is partly a joke, I'm aware it exists but seriously. Never witnessed anyone chatting... ever. lol

I'd not recommend acquiring a new freighter if you lost yours changing galaxies. I'm not sure it's what caused it, but I did this and shortly after my game crashed while exiting my ship. Corrupted my save.

Cant finish aquarius expedition wont let me finish storm fishing on nintendo switch version this sucks 🤬 but the infinite ship glitch is awesome scrap them and they come back after reload and crashes during portal travel alot and lost iron vulture from aquarius update that one pissed me off
Sorry to say this but, get a PC. Switch is old tech and probably what is holding NMS back nowdays as it's the Weakest link in the chain. Even steamdeck can handle the game better.

Rendezvous 2 system look for torrid planet most players get the thunder fish milestone from that planet.
you can't cash in the ship as next expo started so only way to get one is quicksilver, meaning it can't be duped as the update fixed the glitch on spawning free ships

Duping glitch and nanites from goop ... 😂I have 100, 000 + nanites now! I had 8 refiners going at once on my freighter.
If you want to do this the hard way, just find some "Curious Deposits" in a couple planets and build bases around them. 3 or 4 should be more than enough. Build solar panels or biofuel reactors and some batteries, then a teleporter. You can cycle between these bases and constantly mine runaway mould for easy stacks.
Forgot to say that maxing your multi tool for mining can give you even more runaway mould (optical drill on a supercharged slot, using an Atlantic multi tool, etc)
Im on PS5 and last night my freighter was all messed I kept getting stuck in floor after exiting my ship and my base keeps getting parts of freighter base gets messed up with parts of freighter parts going through base
Same, I had to manually come back instead of warping seems to happen less
Omg just put back the save transfer for ps4 to ps5 im so frustrated.
By "Fixing" one bug, I can't find any freighter battles at all. I'm playing from 13;55 oclock to 18;17 oclock, doing my quests, looking for wracks, mining resources and after the 3 hour mark I started to jump arround for at least 1,5 hours and can't find ANY battle.
I already didn't accepted my first system battle and, somehow, my very second battle was another system battle and I couldn't find a Capital Freighter
Finally the Freighter bug is fixed but there are still visual glitches (I'm on PS5)

The best advise I give new players is that nothing can hurt you inside your hidy hole. It’s so obvious most experienced players forget about it but storms and sintenels can be very scary to new players.
PS I always thought your reminders to “check if your still subscribed” were annoying but this was the first video I seen of you all week because UA-cam did it to me.

I wish I knew when I started playing that solar panels and batteries work in building pieces without wires. I played for years without knowing that! I’ve seen people using them in cylindrical rooms, but I like to use glass cubicle room pieces.
Apparently on PS5 i read a player did get their freighter back but the base inside it was all messed up.
They fixed some of it by saving then reloading from within the freighter.
I’m experiencing a bug in ps5 version where the whole section between the docking bay and the main hull is gone. Sometimes it will reappear and then disappear on the next play.
I've played everyday since lunch and I didn't know about the tethered I can't wait to get home and try it
But of course I've been duping since day one
What sucks is i got a ps5 cuz my ps4 always crashes, now i can't transfer my stuff
I have over 300 hours and didn't know about the tethered flight option lol. That will be a game changer for me

It was?.every issue I have with the freighter is still there.I had to enable get free power to get my farm to grow
Yoi dont ecen need to jump in and out of the ship. Just summon it and you and do inventory an whatnot

I'm on console never had crashing issues. Sounds like a matter of hardware to me.
What constant crashes? I'm on PC and rarely get any.

All the NPC ships that land in a station can be bought / traded. Just interact with the NPC standing next to it, check out the specs, and buy or not. Got an S tier fighter that way. Most are C tier so patience is required.

You can store glyph address of any planet by adding planet to wonders personal records too.

@@Sage16226 I try to build base near portals when possible ,to do this view the planet in discoveries then hover curser over the planet it will say which button to use to add to wonders , wonders collection is found in the guides menu , as you know uncharted worlds have no monoliths to find a portal so glyphs are the only way to find portals quickly , goto a charted system locate monolith with exocraft answer its riddle then interact 2nd time to locate portal once you fix the dial just hover cursor over planet in wonder menu to see glyph address to go directly to the hidden portal of your own personal uncharted planet.

Tip for new players. When entering a Dreadnaught Freighter battle. The Black and Red sentinel capitol/ freighter ship. Immediately fly down to the back of the Freighter. Blow up all 4 warp engines at the bottom. Go up top but stay at the back of the Freighter. You will see 5 big anti freighter guns. Shooting red Lazer like projectiles. Blow each one up. Go to the front of the Freighter there will b one more anti freighter gun. Take it out as well. The Dreadnaught will immediately surrender. You can go inside and climb it as your own! You can do all this in under 1 minute!!!
Or go down the two gulleys not heavily protected , destroy the power cells , and the freighter is defeated . That worked better for me anyway.
Breaking the shield generators and power cores, then the warp engines is a bit easier and probably even faster as @Upemm mentioned
If you destroy it but leave the engines untouched you get an s class freighter upgrade

Some people had inventory in their capital ship’s inventory that probably won’t be replaced, replacement frigates in missions may reset, some (like me) replaced their capital ship entirely so you may have lost all tech mods frigates etc. I dropped a base to put the storage down which saved me all the storage I had on my capital.

When they going to fix terrain from taking over my bases. I get it build on post but that's not the fixing the problem. Me and wife played and on my screen my base looks normal but on her screen I live underground lol. She can't even enter my base even if I use the terrain flatten tool does nothing on her screen.
Upload your game info to the server. Same as when you upload discoveries. Otherwise it won’t update for others

@@SoutheastanglerLLC sooo. You go to the page with the system you’re on. The one showing all the planets in the system next to each other with their names if they’ve been discovered.
Then on the left you’ll see a list of all the systems you’ve visited with their planets. At the top right of that is an icon that says something like “upload discoveries”
Click that and collect the nanites for everything you’ve discovered so far. And it will upload your creations to the main server for others to see
