How do you think it will do with a big big guy stable still ? I really like the outlaw I want one but worried iam a big big guy ? Any help would be great
300 lb I put the kayak in the water one time. So far it's easy to get in and out of but standing up. I'm not too sure about it. Open water. My question is is if I put a heavy battery in the back is that going to make it more stable to stand up on it? Because if I stand up on it it seems like there's just too much weight in the front and I want to put a motor in the back
Don't wanna sound crazy and cheap. I been running my 106 powered by minn kota off a 100 dollar lead acid battery for 2 years. Can I use that for the xi3 until I can upgrade. I'm selling my 106 and gone do the ss127 wit the xi3
Yes you can. The best way to handle a lead acid battery is use a charger/maintainer plug it up after every trip I’ll drop a link to the one I use. www.walmart.com/ip/Schumacher-SC1410-6V-12V-Two-Bank-2A-Battery-Charger-Maintainer/1851324411
This is the best cleanest perception build I’ve seen. I hope I can get mine lookin like this
Thank you, and you can get yours even better than mine.
Just built mine today! Well my uncle did it I helped as much as I could. I’m yet to hit the water it’s late and I have to tag it now.
Awesome, you will absolutely love it.
Is it a big difference from putting the motor in the front versus the back?
Yes it is, to me it’s a lot better.
Nice set up buddy. I’ve have the same kayak. Getting ready to put the same trolling motor on mine so very helpful video.
Thank you!! The trolling motor makes it so much better.

The outlaw is made for big guys. I wouldn’t see where you would have an issue.

I would try a full size battery just be careful the max weight is only 425lbs and most full size batteries is 40lbs.
Were do you get your deck hatches at ? The only 5 " hatches I can find on line don't come with gaskets.
This is the ones I used.

That's the same one I got to. I'm going to silicon it in like you did in your video.
Yea it’s best to waterproof them that way when water gets on the deck it want let water in the hull.
