Great Build, reminds me of myself outfitting a 15' Scot Canoe Kevlar squareback with a 6 hp Evinrude plus the 3 gallon tank. Made a cooler seat to adjust the trim by sliding back and forth to find the sweet spot. Also made a tiller extension with a internal button extension to kill the button on the end of handle. That was in 1986 when I was 36 years old. Forward 34 years just got another Kevlar squareback canoe and power it with a much tamer 3.5 Mercury which will hit 12 mph with me and my little grandma up front. Little boats with small motors will take you to some very magical spots. Always wear your jacket and kill switch please.
