Thanks for the content. I will have to disagree with you. I have been on many kayaks on the river and this kayak is probably one of the best I've ever used. The most stable and easy to use aside from going upstream the perception excels above 90 percent of kayaks in its class! We have a fishing club and out of 40 or so guys most all are using the perception on the river!
The outlaw was my first kayak, and it's a fine yak. But i quickly discovered a love for whitewater and the outlaw is not that kayak. I now have a jackson coosa hd, a bonafide RVR119, and a Wilderness tarpon 100. While none of these match the outlaws primary stability, they all allow me to carry the same amount of gear as the outlaw and go through up to class 3 whitewater. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
@jfuriathemostwanted5414 when i made that video, i was a beginner. I now have experience in class 3 whitewater with my rvr119. The outlaw is an excellent lake boat, and it will handle small creeks and lazy rivers. Just avoid class 2 and 3 rapids. The outlaw does NOT maneuver fast enough for that. Don't let the outlaw scare you. Practice intentionally rolling over, and re entering the boat. You will quickly learn the boat.
That looked like fun. Looks like more than a few rocks where you paddle. You might consider a helmet just in case you take a spill if you're out alone. I've fallen out, got flipped backwards and my helmet made some solid contact with a rock. I thanked my wife for making me wear it. Just a friendly suggestion you're free to ignore of course. Thanks for the content. Beautiful fish too.
I've gone back n forth about it. Never wore helmets as a kid on bikes either. Probably why I'm not quite right upstairs. Lol. Thank you for watching and commenting!
This looks like a Cadillac compared to the old 2 seater 13 ft Coleman canoe my grandpa gave me. I've paddled that school bus up and down rapids just as bad as these
It's definitely as comfortable as a Cadillac! I chose that particular creek to test the outlaw because the rapids were small. I didn't want to risk it in bigger rapids until i knew how it handled. But it is still an excellent kayak for lakes. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@OnlyFinsI've decided to sell my Outlaw. I went on a river trip with my cousins, their sun dolphin and Bonafides left me in the dust. I had to paddle my ass off. I'm gonna buy a Recon HD
Thank you! Not sure why it took this long to show up in my list. I have 3 insta360 cams, a gopro 10, a dji mavic mini, a samsung S10+, a samsung note20 ultra, and a samsung s23 ultra. Audio comes from Rode wireless go 2 mic. Maybe I'll do a video on the gear i use. Thoughts?
Been researching this kayak for michigan , am looking for something i can take on the big waters , in land lakes , and troute streams , looks like it might do ok , we dont have much fast or white water here
@@OnlyFins wish we had some streams down where I am at in Franklin county big enough to put a kayak on. These around here are so dang shallow and narrow. I am researching kayaks I wanna get one for fishing and just to sometimes go float.
Thanks! I actually sold the outlaw a couple months ago, but i had an insta360 cam mounted to the front solo mount, and another one on a pole at the back.

@@OnlyFins thanx I been a lil worried my fear of the dark waters scared me 😂

Hey man I saw you today. I like the videos!
Nice! Thank you.
Were you the guys with tiktok?
Is that the Bald Eagle in Milesburg? I know that pump house.
Yes it is

That looks fun. You should make detachable stabilizers.
No need. It's extremely stable, that's why it turns so slow. But i have a solution. It'll be in an upcoming video
Hey I like you video. I have an outlaw also. What kind of a camera set up do you have?

It does fantastic on big water. I've had it to 100ft depths, riding 5ft swells like they're nothing.
@@OnlyFins cool
So glad i watched this video, I have been having so much trouble sleepiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
What go pro mount where you using when you spun it?
It wasn't the mount that spun. I use 360 cameras so i can pick the views during edit. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Do you use a ram ball mount?
Likened to a barge, why would the outlaw not be good on moving water?
It turns too slow. Makes obstacle avoidance dangerously difficult
This was a hoot watch at 2x
Is that a pa fishing license
Yep. Sure is. Centre county

How does the battery last on that camera? Does it last you a whole day? Can it be plugged into a battery pack with USB?
Hey, got me the Insta360 X3. I really like it. Thanks.
