Hey John…. Yes good to meet you too. It was a really good day meeting everyone, many for the first time. I had a feeling you would get that loco. Did you get it at a good price. I gave Robert my email address but forgot to pass it on to you. ( slockhart@btinternet.com ) Let me know when you’ve got it so I can delete it from this message.
Hi found you through John Warner by watching his video, excellent work on Eurostar runs well now brilliant video kind regards Southline Southernline 👍🏻👀👏🏻🆒👋🏻
Hi South Line. Thanks very much for dropping in and checking the channel out. Your subs is much appreciated. Had a great day at GETS with John and the other guys. 👍👍👍
Hi Steve, OO Neal eat your heart out a super how to video and despite the "camera malfunction" which you over came as well as the repair I congratulate you on a super video well done. If I remember it you are hoping to be at GETS on Saturday so now that after a 25 min wait at my local Asda for petrol I can go also hope to see you there along with all the others. I am now going up to the layout to continue with my points replacement on the back track but had to comment on this quicker than I usually do!!! keep safe and well. Cheers Robert.
Hi Robert and thanks for the very nice comment. Praise indeed. Just received my ticket for GETS. I’m going on the train, can’t take the chance in the car because of the petrol shortage nonsense. Looking forward to seeing you there. Sadly Alan from Dragon Junction won’t be there, having come down poorly with covid. Regards…. Steve 👍
@@route7railway567 Yes sent Allan a text wishing him well but your health is more important than a train show but he must be gutted over it but will still be a lot of us there so not long now!!!
Brilliant job! Isn’t it so satisfying when we can successfully repair a loco/train? You must be so pleased and possibly relieved at the same time. Are you going to GETs in MK this coming weekend?
Hi John. Thanks for looking in on the channel. You’re right, I get a lot of satisfaction getting broken kit back up and running. Yes I’m going to GETS on Saturday. I’m getting the train because not sure about the petrol situation. Hopefully I’ll see you there. I was thinking of staying over for both days, but that gets a bit expensive. Especially when you want to spend on a few bargains that may pop up 🤣 Regards … Steve
Hi Steve it's always great to fix something that's broken, and so smooth too nice job , I would suggest investing in a cog puller though Steve I've done it the same way you have and all of a sudden the axle went through the wheel into my fingers yeah it hurt lol, I've just bought one off amazon got a bit of change out of £7 and it works a treat 😀 . Where did you get the cogs from ?
Hi Brian. Thanks for watching. I’ve actually got a puller coming, that will make things easier. I picked up the cogs from eBay The eBay seller was called ‘thunclimsal’ they had every cog variant we would need 👍 See you at GETS on Saturday if you are going. Regards…. Steve 👍👍
Enjoyed the video you put together today. Lot's going on.
