If you want to get started with journaling, here's the link to the journal I use: amzn.to/3se1mJ6
I highly recommend this style: the paper is soft to write on and the journal has a great feel to it. There are also many colors and page styles to chose from (dotted, lined, blank).

Hey! I hope that you're doing well.
As you can see, this video is a little bit different (and long): there was no plan, no complex editing, no graphics, just me sitting down and talking for a while. My only hope with this video is that it can help a few of you out.
While sitting down and talking can be interesting and insightful, I feel like my channel has become a lot of that recently, and I'm looking to shake that up next month. This channel was rooted in travel, and I want to bring more of that adventurous spirit back. So, I convinced my parents to let me fly somewhere and stay in an AirB&B for 2 weeks (after being Covid tested). I won't spoil where I'll be flying to quite yet, but It will be part of a fun series that I'm currently filming!
It's time to get out of this crazy room and back into the real world!! (while being safe, of course)
I hope you have a great day, see you soon!
    Max (':

I believe that if someone is feeling overwhelmed with the things they are doing, there's probably something that isn't working well in that routine / way of life. We should only be doing things that make us happy and that we can do harmoniously.

I kinda disagree cause when you're working on your goals so there are tough times too although you love to do that work but still you're just a human being and one can get tired too but then you need to push yourself to get the things done you def feel overwhelmed with those tasks but it is the part of life there are ups & downs too but you gotta keep going on the track with discipline 🌸

he'll probably never see this comment but he's so inspiring, watching his videos makes me feel so inspired and not alone and I swear he can make an hour long video and I'd watch every minute of it. I've been feeling so overwhelmed lately because of midterms week, balancing university with youtube and my writing has felt like way too much and I've been the most exhausted I've ever been. During my midterm today I could barely stay awake and I was feeling so terrible I was wishing to be able to talk to someone who'd understand me then I saw this video and it felt like talking to a friend. This gave me perspective and inspired me to keep going, thank you so much. 😭💕

And also, I’m now going back to writing my journal after I watched this. It was a loss for me not journaling since pre-covid-19. It’s like I lost those best and worst memories for not jotting them down on my journal. There’s always that feeling of great hesitation and it’s over a year now.

Hello there! In fact, I do not often share my feelings and thoughts on these platforms. But I wanted to tell you something about myself because your video inspired me. We lived very similar things at different times. İf ı need to speak for myself, I fell into a huge empty space as a result of a bad breakup. And I can really say that writing saved my life. And be sure that I understand very well that feeling of emptiness you had before. when ı read, what I wrote at these days, I seriously realized that I only talked about things that would upset me, as if I constantly bleeding my wound. Maybe that's why my healing process was delayed. But now I feel really good. writing, singing, dancing, just watching the sunrise, I think it heals my soul. I think, now even if something bad happens, I can see more clearly that tiny good inside it. If you've read this far, thank you for giving your precious time to me. (My native language is not English, so there may be things that I have written incorrectly.) So thank you again have a nice day.

To people who hesitate to start a journal : do it do it do it !!
When I was younger it helped me a lot, especially when I was in love, I know it sounds stupid but I'm a very emotional person and being in love can switch my mood EVERYTIME and it already destroyed a part of my life, I can be happy and then be sad because of something concerning the person. Journaling is a really good way to express yourself and I swear that the best part is when you read your journal a long time after, it's very funny and you can see your course and your advances.
Now that I'm in a relationship with the person I love since almost 3 years I stopped journaling, but maybe it would be a good idea to start doing another journal !
If you're lazy you can also find journaling app that are very simple and help you to find what you have to change in your habits, what makes you sad...
Thanks for this video @Max Reisinger !
    Love from France, dawn

I don't know why but from what i ever saw, journaling was offfen something considered as girl's stuff involuntary (more like secret diary or something that way) and i found really nice to see you talking about it :) I think everybody should write in an journal, bc it's the best way to feel better and exprime our feelings. Listening to you is really fascinating i mean there's nothing boring, i could stay here and listening to you for hours ahahah. When you say a journal is like a friend you're totally right, bc there are things we can't explain to someone and writting it down is just the best way to do ! So thanks for your videos which are really inspiring :) best regards from France

Thank you for making this, it is genuinely a very insightful and wholesome take on journaling and how writing down our experiences can help unload the burdens and weights of trials simply onto paper. I value journaling because it's a transcribed version of our thought processes-it forces me to intently contemplate my perceptions freely without judgement. Poetry, film ideas, and art pieces frequently burgeon from the time I spend journaling. I also want to reassure anyone who reads this that the Lord's always there for you during trials as well. God’s genuinely lifted me up in my darkest moments. Journaling is an integral factor to the process of reparations after life’s storms, but God’s grace and comfort ignited a hope and direction for me that I could not fabricate on my own. He’s there, you just have to ask. God bless y’all, thanks for reading & thanks for creating this, Max!

Great video Max, as always. The simple format worked well and let the content speak for itself.
If anyone's looking for a way to keep track of plans, to-do items, etc., I would highly recommend looking into the book Getting Things Done. The whole GTD method is about getting these items out of your brain and into a place you know you'll check regularly, which allows your subconscious to relax and stop worrying about forgetting something.
Take care and stay safe Max.
