This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my UA-cam channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,7444 subs and > 1k hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
Ah man, this is amazing. Keep going!
@@jaydwilliams Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my UA-cam channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a UA-camr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this UA-cam thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)
Let’s get after it
@@jaydwilliams Thank you!
What I really focus on is the value of the content and what I’m truly passionate about while helping others! I'm glad that I'm foolish enough to believe that I can actually start making money through my passions. I've never thought that I'd be able to gain 1K subs faster. I can't imagine how many opportunities could have been wasted if I didn't have courage to go after them. That includes having this channel, being in a management role, having the people who actually care about me for who I am, freelance gigs, being an ambassador in a creative community and now I'm also planning on honing my public speaking skills through joining a toastmaster club and these all happened in 2023. It started with writing them all down on a piece of paper. A paper that serves as a reminder for me to go after what I want even through hard times. I'm not bragging about my accomplishments but simply hoping that this message can also inspire others to believe in themselves.
This is so good. Thank you for sharing!
The book Atomic Habits goes deeper into the idea of creating systems rather than goals. Great video by the way very helpful and instructive!
Yes! Thank you!
I like it when yt recommends me quality content from small creators.
Welcome to the channel! :)

Thanks, Jay for the content!
Golden outline for a golden video. Thank you, friend.
God bless you!
You rock!
I don't understand step 3, can someone explain it to me?
Thanks
Man, the 10, 30, 100 strategy looks INSANE. I'll start doing it immediately!
💪
10/30/100 is impressive and most important part is sustainability concept in it... Thank you Jay for sharing this....
Glad you liked it!
This is how I became a public speaker. Grateful that God instilled this in my years ago.
👍🏼
It makes sense to
create personal systems for success.
The best business example of this is the Ford assembly line.
If an industry can
be built like this,
it works in your personal life.
100%
A life partner that's real with you and you can be real with is so hard to find these days. Good for you man
Totally
Go talk to justin
how to find that partner….don’t wish, set your standards ane work on finding that type of person
That’s real
Who?
This video clearly explains why we can't trust ourselves completely. No matter what we do, we are imperfect. We need a perfect someone that will help us in decision making.
This is a good point. Having an accountability partner makes a huge difference!
One more thing that I would love to add is to make it as much easy as possible to perform the minimum action. This could be something like deciding what to do before the day has already started or maybe cleaning up your files to make it as less friction to work with. And at the end, it's all relative, you could be very productive for the entire week but still feel that you haven't given your 100%.
Amazing point, I totally agree.
I think I got this habit from "Atomic Habits" Started reading some couple of weeks ago. It's a really good book for someone like me who is not used to those habits and it helped me change and improve me a bit in life.
Great book
I came here looking for a comment mentioning this. This was in the first two chapters, I just started the book last week.
Immediately thought of it after seeing the title of this video. Definitely good to improve life.
Personality, Process, Outcome
Totally
Action first
Rather refreshing to hear about someone genuinely letting themselves be corrected, long term. Much more often, people get defensive, or down on themselves, when corrected.
everyone has something to teach you.
This content feels real genuine, I actually learn a lot from it not like other youtubers with a dull script. Thank you for the great insights!
Thank you! I appreciate that!
I’ve never subscribed to a channel so quick. Whatever ur doing ur doing it right
Thanks Jace!
This is why I love mindfulness meditation; it's about letting go of goals and expectations. I like the workbook called 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels for learning mindfulness.
Love that! Thanks for sharing
Pearson's Law says that what you track, you will do. This is crucial to the success of your system: track your activity and you will find that you can accomplish more than you ever could.
Love this! great advice.
The format and presentation of this video is excellent Jay, thanks for sharing. I think this is the first time I’ve come across one of your videos.
Awesome, thank you!
Your ad free honesty is appreciated 👍
Thanks
@@jaydwilliams You're welcome, thank you.
👍🏼
Yours is one of the best videos I've seen on this topic and I've been watching a lot of them lately. I hope you do more.
Thanks man!
Thank you so much. I'll be using these steps this year 2023 for my personal and professional growth.
Yes! Let's go!
Jay, I came across your channel today and binged every short and video you've created. Please keep going. Your content is fantastic and you've got this! I wish there were more. I'd watch them all.
🙏 This made my day :)
This is such a good video! I'm totally into helping my clients create systems that help them to create time and energy freedom in their life. I use a variation of this, but I totally agree with you that is ONLY way to achieve things and coaching/investing is help is the "cheat code" to get the results we want. Great job Jay!
Amazing!
10/30/100 days rule is amazing to try. Thanks Jay!
Boom! You're welcome!
I can’t wait to start this starting from tomorrow. Thanks 🙏
You got this!
Well said in the video, we dont need pats on the back, sometimes we need a reality check, and that's enough motivation to move us towards things we actually want in our life.
Just discovered your channel through this video, and feels like it's going to be helpful and informative.
Thanks man! I appreciate that. I’m a huge believer in taking action first, asking questions later.
I am really getting a good understanding of this working to achieve your goal. Thanks very very much for enlightening me on this 10 30 100 rule. God bless.
Glad it was helpful!
I love the simplicity of your message, very achievable
Thank you! Is there anything you’re using for yourself?
@@jaydwilliams been journaling for 34 years straight...one of the most life changing tools ever...i could talk about it for hoooooours !!!!🤩
So underrated!
Thank you, Jay Williams!
You're welcome, Toni Cruz
This was crazy helpful. I appreciate the show and tell art of speaking. Thanks!
Appreciate you!
Great video, systems are life changing. Thank you for sharing your process!
My pleasure
The algorithm placed you on my time line with near perfect timing
Ah that’s amazing!
Excellent video! Robust advice! Much appreciated!
You're welcome!
Creating systems is definitely something I needed to implement into my life more in order to reach my goals. Thank you Jay, this video was very informative!
You can do it! Thanks for watching.
Out of all the productivity videos, this one is the best.
Thank you!. That's high praise.
Very inspiring, thank you so much for sharing !
You're welcome!
Thanks I think this will help me a lot because setting a acceptable compliance range that isn't 100% perfect like being able to look at 80 or even lower percentage and seeing it instead of as a black and white but as a stat is a great idea
Amazing! So glad you enjoyed it
Wow man, that's top tier quality there, you are awesome !
Thanks man!
Jay i have to tell you that this video is so simple yet so effective for anyone who wants to get better at anything in life. i have been a successful project manager but never could articulate the things that you did in this video. i just subscribed to your channel and I want to get more clear ideas for my goals.
Thank you! this means a lot.
Almost 1 year ago I saw this video and commented here. Now I come back to see I'm following many steps you suggest even without realizing it. There are others, however, where I can improve.
Thank you. This has to be one of the most useful videos on UA-cam.
Ahh, this has to be the best thing I’ve heard today. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work
This is definitely some wisdom to contemplate.
Solid!
Nice video. I've read a lot of books that discuss this topic, be it Atomic Habits or Executive Toughness, but your 5 step break down was nice and actionable. I watched it twice, and wrote out your steps in my journal as I see it as clear game plan. Keep producing! nice work.
Amazing! This really makes my day. Glad you found it helpful.
This is very motivational, thank you very much. Sounds like a great system that works. I'm going to try it.
You can do it!
I love these tips! I'm going to implement this system and let you know how it works!
Amazing!
THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Honestly no one explained it and broke it down this way, thank you sir 💜
You’re welcome! Appreciate you
Fabulous and I can see so many frameworks that become easier to convey using this. Thank you!

How'd it go?
Woah- this was a very well crafted video. I subscribed right after I finished watching but I was expecting you to have a lot more subs… the future is looking bright for this channel, keep going!
Thank you! Welcome to the channel :)
I must admit that I often don't leave comments, but your explanation was really good, and I also really liked that you mentioned "subscribed" at the end of the video (usually they always say it at the beginning, but I decide after watching the video), so you have a new follower. Great job.
Thank you Milan! I really appreciate your thoughtful response
this is just what i needed, thank you Jay :)
Yes! you're welcome

Thanks Sean! Glad you enjoyed it.

It did just open my eyes to a different reality
So glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Jay, I really dig ur practical approach ..
Awesome, thank you!
Great content bro! Keep going and growing your channel with sistems 🚀🚀
😂 great advice!
Thank you for reminding me about this. I've been setting up Goals in my head, and only passively making systems around me to achieve them. I should really see this differently.
I really like this video Jay, I'm subbing to get notified on the next ones you make! 😁
Thanks Jeff! So glad you got something out of this one. Next one I"ll break down my journal a bit more.
Really a great video! Thank you for sharing it!

Thank you!
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
Thank you!
Welcome to the channel!
Bingo. I quit working GTD when I realized my problem wasn’t organization, I just didn’t want to do the things on my list. You reminded me I still need systems, but they must drive to sincere desires. Rather, you flipped that sequence; get in touch with ambitions, then design systems to get there. An inspiring and achievable summary. And we have the same first name, so it must have been some kind of fate that I saw your inspiration when I needed it.
Yo!! I did the same thing! I quit doing GTD and all productivity stuff when I realized that i mostly just needed to do 1 or 2 things per day and it would make the biggest difference. Welcome to the channel! :)
Great way to think! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for this
You're so welcome!
I love this advice
Thank you!
Subscribed 45 seconds in bro! 👏
Legend!
I really like the 10/30/100 Rule
Thanks! :)
@Jay D Williams - there are probably umpteen books on goal achievement. but your message is succinct and effective. I loved it. I loved that point is not where you are achieving the goal in 10/30 days, but are you doing that it takes. because outcomes if you are doing it, outcomes are inevitable - may not be exactly what you set out for but 100% you will make progress and that motivates. If you cannot do it, you can then know what is going on there? so, the Q from me is - what should one do if they do not find themselves doing it for 10 days? or 30 days?
Thank you Potencia, your comments really mean a lot.
This is great, thank you.
You're very welcome!
Amazing video!! Thanks!😊
Glad you liked it!
Amazing content! Simple, straight to the point and very, very practical. Thank you!
appreciate you.
Hello Jay, great video! Subbed almost instantly, Keep uploading more.
Thanks Yadhu! Welcome to the channel! New vid coming this week :)
Great share Jay ! Thanks 🙏🏻 I’m a team leader and am saving your vids to discuss in group meetings and coaching sessions
That's amazing! :)
Really valuable video - thank you!
You’re welcome
powerful! anks so much!
My pleasure
Hey Jay - I can honestly say your content is so much more relevant than half of youtube! - It seems like your making videos to help people instead of actually focusing on growing audience and that's very very awesome! - Inspiring content bro!
Thanks Amber!
So you're saying... the videos are not as relevant as the other half of UA-cam? 😜
Just joking. Happy holidays!
Lol
Thank you.
You're welcome!
First, where did you get that sweater? It’s super cool. Nice way to breakdown the path to goals, and being honest with ourselves, which is the first step!
Haha, thx. Sweater was from a thrift shop.
Thank you for this. Really like the 10/30/100 days rule, and the associated%'s. It's a really cool approach to habit forming 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You're so welcome!
No bullshit waffling.😊 Thank you.
Thanks! that means a lot! :)
As always, the most difficult part is to start thinking in "systems" for everything you want to achieve efficiently. Once you have that mindset, you are on the right track 😉
Btw, excellent pieces of advice Jay 🙂
Well said. Systems are hard, but worth it
This is a dope video thanks so much for dropping this knowledge
Thanks!
10/30/100 rule is a nice idea. Haven’t heard of that before.
