Galleon with 50 scatter shots and skeleton bombs:
Scattershots are very good for solo sloops, because bigger ships are much easier to hit with them than sloops. A galleon would have to be very very close to hit every ball while you could be further away and be more effective due to galleons having more holes.
@@Sentinel_of_the_GFI also repairing a sloop takes far less time than a galleon since to repair a galleon you need to go all the way below deck
also the skeleton bombs could give you a fighting chance as a solo by distracting the enemy
Yeah true with the skeleton bombs and all the other things there's literally 0 hope for me as a solo slooper 0 hope multiple scatter and others will end me before I can even make a move

I have a feeling like the throwing knives will have a large impact on boarding (not just the harpoons) I’m imagining a scenario where the helm/bulge throws their knife onto a boat their teammate is boarding who promptly picks it up and uses it

Coolest update to seas in a LONG time. So excited. I wonder how this will shake up the weapon meta? I doubt I will end up going away from my sword/pistol combo but the daggers do sound like fun for sure.

Came across some real designs of the twin barrel flintlock pistols and I really hope there's a version ingame with the barrels stacked one on top of the other as opposed to just side by side.

What would happends if you just spam those skeleton bombs onto someones ship? Will there be ALOT of skeletons, or will nothing happend
I've been wondering that too. My guess is throwing a new one, will make the first ones explode (not dealing damage, just despawning), but I'm not sure. Though, if multiple people on your crew just throw 1, you can probably stack skeletons that way. I would think it's 1 set per person, but I could be wrong!

How much damage does the double barrel pistol do? If its more than 30 it will combo with the sniper so well and maybe replace blunderbuss for the double gun role!
Less than the pistol per shot but reloads faster and you can charge it to fire both chambers simultaneously.
Double pistol deals 40 per barrel. Nothing will replace blunderbuss for 75%+ of players, it's by far the most overpowered weapon in the game.
@@Choom89 No but when double gunning you can now have an assured 40+ damage with 2 shots so the sniper can easily finish the job
