@@theonecombatwombat stream sniped an official arena tournament with a real $ reward to know the enemies moves, advertised minecraft cheats through a fake sot cheat link, and toxicity towards both players and Rare employees. Choose any 1 of 3 and it’s still enough. Add 5 years of ban evasion and there’s no question that his channels that only upload/streamed sea of thieves content for years now should get taken down if he’s supposed to be banned and unable to make that content. He has an unhealthy obsession with this game. Rare won’t make a statement or unban him. That would just fan the flame and cause more drama.. similar offenders would demand the same unban treatment and no one would care about breaking rules if rare just goes back on their enforcement.

One thing I hope is that the skeleton crew scales with your player crew size. This means solo players would have a larger crew overall, and galleon crews would have a smaller one. I don't want this to become something that solo sloopers should have to steer fully clear of out of irrelevancy.
There is some balance with crew size in mind, but it's pretty bad for solos regardless.
It's definitely looking that way. The best solo option will probably be to sink it and stack the sword value.
Even if the skelly crew is good at cannons and stuff, which I doubt, helming a galleon is a full time job. And how would you deal with the sails, unless the skellies have some advanced AI you can order around?
I hope I eat my words but I don't think taking it over will be fun for a solo.
If you know what you're doing on a solo sloop you can fight it just fine. Don't forget the bigger the ship. The harder it is to handle their maneuverability will be nothing compared to a sloop

Hoping we get a hunter's call/ocean update! I love the kraken and meg, but I feel like we need a another big monster, and maybe one or two smaller ocean enemies. And just like....something more. I don't even know what. But Hunter's Call needs something new

...that's not how video game bans work? You can't get banned from a game for being "too good," your account may get flagged for closer inspection at most

@@matty956 No. Changes that reward you for playing the match instead of just completing it. This would mean adding XP for actions like killing enemy players, damaging the enemy ship, making repairs, extinguishing fires, and bucketing. This would make it so if a match goes on for 20 minutes and you lose, you are not given the same amount of XP as someone who didn't even try.
I found a glitch with this world event. You can pass through portals with the Burning Blade, and when you exit the portal you are in a new server so there two Burning Blades in the lobby. I had four Burning Blades in my fleet, and that is a terrifying site to see.

@@TwinFlameGaming1 the thing is that rare usually bans people for the most petty things, and if you encounter a sot partner you most likely to get banned since they have special treatment. People got banned for beating a streamer who accused them of hacks yet they have proven to never have hacked hacked

A great update that will enrich the Sea of Thieves. A permanent server event which is also in the hands of the players. Very exciting

Worried that the rituals are basically a death sentence for your ship, especially if you have the Burning Blade, since you're a massive target. That or it just becomes really boring for one member of the crew who has to sit as lookout. Need some sort of "scry(/ing)glass" that can look out of your crowsnest remotely so you can keep tabs on the ship while it's out of view. Would also help to make ocean monuments less risky

You guys need to make all the special items in the game have unlimited use, there’s no point in going after the burning sword if it’s just limited uses. Same goes for the skull that shoots fire, and the horn of fair winds. Such fun items with great potential for fun gameplay but it’s non are worth getting.

You know, having NPC help run your ship is actually a good idea. Imagine you’re going solo or don’t have enough people to fully man a ship. Having someone man the Cannons while player fix or vice versa, or while someone mans the crows nest to help this big ships.

So now we essentially have a Frigate the equivalent of the Queen Anne's Revenge... Which I'm sure you could also turn into a regular ship down the line. The Frigate. All that's left now is to give us our Man O' War with 8 Players, & we'll all be happy. :D
My friends and I used to love this game, but after hearing about the unjustified banning I don't think we should play anymore, and haven't. Actually scary that they don't investigate whatsoever.

Im worried that solo players will never be able to get this done. Also waiting for the alliances that take the ship and have 6 or 8 people if not more on the boat becoming near unstoppable laying waste to the server.
Nah, I think youre still better of just having 2 galeons than 8 people on 1 ship
Only one ship can take the burning blade. Doing so will make you lose access to your flag box. The skeletons would attack boarders, and without being in an alliance - "allies" cannot be resurrected. The burning blade would just be weaker at that point.
I love how they made a potion of the reaper mask a cosmetic, I will definitely claim that it looks pretty cool, same thing with the obsidian bones skelly curse and the obsidian bane crusher outfit, this in my opinion will probably be the best update sea of thieves has ever had!

What did you do?
Well, we were playing a TDM with my friends and a sloop came to us and started attacking us. We told him that we don't want any trouble, and asked him to go away, but they did not listen, so we spawncamped them for a while, and then sank them. Ironicaly enough alliance server players who spawncamp other normal players to make them leave so their friends could join the server don't get banned.

This seems like a promising update, however I and everyone else would love to see new islands and factions. For example, there is a whole blank section at the bottom of the map. You could add a whole area controlled by the Royal Navy (or something like it). They could be really difficult to fight and there could be more cities and towns on these islands that you can raid like in pirates of the Caribbean. I think this would do number for keeping the game fresh for someone who’s been playing since the beginning, going to the same locations over and over can get boring

Not favoritism or agenda pushing or favoritisism etc.. Its as simple as that .. Pride month is June not all year long ! You outline an event when this said event is in full swing .. You dont make a Christmas event in the middle of spring .. THe same apply here !

Why can they only support them during pride month? That community gets targeted year round. It's not a seasonal gimmick
it isn't an "event". It's support for basic human rights. The fact you just copared gay people fighting for their right to exist to Christmas says everything I need to know about you. If you have an issue with rare supporting people fighting for basic rights, then that's on you.
