- we finally went to see what the new setup is on E-bikekid's 1500w ebike we have a new controller fardriver 72360 controller and a new 60v 30ah mega range battery, compared to his older brother set he hit over 52mph!!!
Buddy, after whiskey throttling his 45a ebike: “ Let me ride your (450a) ebike”.

Ebike guy: “umm, are you sure? Mode 1?” (😅).
Lol. But seriously that is very fast on any surface and crazy fast on a dirt/gravel/sand road. At those speeds on those tires on that road with those steering geometries is crazy.
Hope ebike kid stays safe with all that power available anytime, anywhere. He has experience keeping himself in control of the bike but sometimes you need to be older before you fully understand what the other idiots on the road will do. Lol

@@E-bikeguy was the welding process on your fat tyre bike no different than the average steel? I've just got the same frame as you it's high tensile steel but the qs205 motor axle isn't quite long enough any way to show you? It's a nightmare 😅

Its good you place all the battery's in the middle of the ebikes, regardless of judgmental views its alot safer and better practical physics of overall no lag on performance. Ive seen others go out their way to have their ebike look professional of a cosmetic appeal but by my own lessons, not the idea place for the physics of an off balanced feel or harder control gone whack. My latest Fat Tonka Dual has 3 battery's of the stock intergraded and the 2 extra of getting certain dimensions for top cross bar fit ( Cant just buy 60v or 72v due to size not working on frame, using a dual battery adapter instead) Works best of compensating weight with front forks shock adjusters or ABS shocks to add on the force of forks.

Hello from Dallas,Tx. 🤝 I’ma rookie in the ebike community and you’ve motivated me to diy my first bike. Running a 1500v rear motor hub with a 60v controller and a 60v 25a battery on a fat tire 26” similar to yours. Pretty excited about the build my only problem is how to better protect the battery and best mounting options. If you have any tips it’d be gladly appreciated. But thank you for teaching me as I get deeper into the ebike world !

I watched these bike builds all day. Fantastic job on the bikes. I was just a little nervous watching the young guy without a helmet going 60, there's a lot of bugs and birds that can hit your face or your eye and throw your balance off, and you don't want to fall off going 60.😅

Oh man, the fardriver is the best bang for the price, they are really powerful and responsive controllers as long as you tune it to the battery ate are a beast 👌 💯💪

@ProspectorTripp thank you, yes my boy's have a lot of experience in dirtbike atv, and the ebikes they put their trust in my builds and love the excitement the ebiks provides everyone see ebikekid as a kid on a fast ebike but he has a lot of knowledge.
3:52 that's why I don't like twist throttles on ebikes Lol!! its easy to accidentally hit the pedals and make PAS shoot off like a rocket, too. I have done that a few times and send the bike across the garage😅😅

What do you think I can hit with a dual motor and battery setup with a modded bbshd 52v 20ah hooked to a 3000w rear hub with a 72v 40ah battery with an 80a sabvoton controller? It's going on a recumbent bike. Enjoy your videos.

Did you have to adjust controllers down to 60v or are you overvolting the battery or motor?
Yes, the controller is tune for 60v we just over volting the motor with high current, just the 1500w hub motor on ebkiekid
Without a BMS those batteries push high amps. They would have to be even faster on smooth pavement.

just to confirm, are you guys running/overdriving 1500w hubs? how are they holding up being pushed that hard? no heat issues?
Not at all especially with my kids bike but weight do play a roll so you have to keep that in prospective

Oh ok 1500w it on the bike and the dc amps is 190a and phase current is 360a I believe we can hit 60mph

Hi I've git 1500wat kit controller 35amp 48volt battery I think if I upgrade to 72v controller it will burn batteries. So if I upgrade to 40amp controller and 52v battery what speed coud I get I don't want go crazy just a speed that eoud be near 40mph with no worries of damage the kit. Great video buy the way my wheels are 20in fat tyre bikes looks bit like a motor bike

Can you make my bike faster I have a 48v 1500w hub motor and some controller that came with a kit but it’s not a conversion bike it’s a melody dk300 plus and I want it to go as fast as possible without any upgrades like I want a over volt to 52 volts and a shunt mod on my controller and motor
If yout controller can handle the higher voltage then you will go faster on 52v
