It’s disgusting to rip this house down. Millionaires, Hollywood etc love to preach to us about saving the environment and global warming but then they do things like this and get away with. It should not be allowed. This is so wasteful. This mega mansion is gorgeous
You're right... it shouldn't be allowed. Perhaps government should require an inspection of the condition. If it is in good shape then no. If they want to tear it down, they have to be fined, taxed something substantial. Maybe even forced to preserve the good materials like floors, stairs, cupboards etc for auction.
Marilyn Monroe and Donna Summers homes also being demolished. Beautiful homes too. State government need to get involved five tax incentives for renovating.
It makes me sick that someone would tear a perfectly beautiful home down. This shouldn’t be allowed. My late husband & I bought a 3200sq ft brand new home in 2007, he passed in 2015 & older kids moved out & on. Was getting ready to list it for sale & hurricane Florence destroyed 70% of it. It was a shame it was over 1/2 paid off & ultimately due to a crap contractor, Covid & it took almost 3yrs of the ins co not wanting to cover anything that I couldn’t fight it anymore & walked away. People need to learn to be great full 4 their blessings & quit trying to outdo everyone else. Just be happy
What a stunning mansion, it's so clean for abandoned. Such a shame to tear it down, it's so gorgeous, just needs repairs...People have more money than brains, apparently...
This is the kind of Palace you keep and pass to your kids and they pass it to their kids. You keep it in the family. Growing up poor I often dream of these kinds of palaces. It's beautiful
This Palace should not be torn down. Why would the developers want to do this. This mansion is perfectly fine the way it is. This demolition is totally unacceptable
Believe me, if they could sell it, they wouldn't be knocking it down. Unfortunately these houses just don't sell and they sit for years. I blame the overinflated market. These days, nobody is willing to pay that kind of money for somebody else's dream house that needs work, when they could buy a brand new one for the same price.

Got totally freaked out yesterday when all of a sudden the stream shut down and the "thumbnail" disappeared from UA-cam. Glad I get to see the rest. This place is a stunner. You are correct. My daughter lived on the same street that John Lennon was shot. Her apartment was one room with a tiny bathroom. She could sit on her bed and cook on the stove it was so tiny. She paid $2400 a month.

I saw this one about a week ago that someone else posted, my thought from last week was "I wished Ethan would post this to do it justice". You aren't disappointing, love your attention to detail.
The moldings in this house are probably worth more than a million dollars, like some rooms have eight inch base moldings, and I am positive they are real wood, not composite. The beautiful curved moldings you see everywhere are expensive to produce. Moldings can be carefully removed by the right demo crews and then sold or donated. So many closet systems, most are removable, thus do not need bulldozed. The doors are probably solid wood, very expensive, with the hinges and doorknobs they can easily be sold or donated. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are top of the line, the right demo crew could remove them to be sold or donated. I can’t see any reason to salvage only the light fixtures, but bulldoze the rest. Sorry, I had to say something about the potential waste if a salvage crew did not remove everything they could before I watch the rest.

Amazing video Ethan. Thanks for going back to properly show the basement. Thank you so much for all the details as that place was massive. It’s just a same to tear it down. no offense to you but the matching granite to your place so you basement granite to someone of this status haha. Either way you have nice granite.
Their are No Words or Expressions to describe this IMMACULATE MANSION....."BEA-U-TI-FUL"..........What A Waste To Demolish This! Thank You Ethan.....You are Doing A Superb Job With Your Commentary........Keep Up The Good Work............... WHAT A "G-R-A-N-D V-I-L-L-A"........!!!!!!!!!
Your last two homes have been beautiful!
Thanks for the video!
thank you
❤ Love it. Tear down is an environmental crime. Please look into preservation laws.
Wow! This place was beyond amazing! You kept saying like what the F!! And that was so appropriate really! Blows my mind that people actually live like that in places like that. I seriously can only dream and imagine. Wow. Wow.
Absolutely unbelievable! Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely unbelievable house! I’ve never seen a house this large. Thank you so much for doing what you do’
Beautiful house. Just stunning. Rumor has it is that the guy who lives behind wants the property to expand his house. I remember that house you mentioned Ethan. You pasted 2 photos of it getting demoed. Sucks.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So, if the guy behind this home wants it so bad, why doesn't he just buy this mansion and live in it? He could always build the 2 homes 🏡 till he made 1 enormous house.
@@didibolter9362 Don't ask me. No idea.
@clairefunnell8481 Gee, I didn't mean to offend you, it was just a question.
@@didibolter9362 It's OK, you didn't offend me at all.
@@clairefunnell8481 Good, I am so glad! Enjoy your day 👍😀👍
This was a great video, Ethan. I love the fact that you're so humble & kind. You're very real & I love that. Thank you for doing what you do because I know alot goes into making these videos.
This place is gorgeous!!!! One heck of a light bill but gorgeous
Ethan you need at least two part episode s for this house ❤ for sure.yo yo yo Ethan MTV Cribs come on in
Absolutely stunning!!! The ceilings are amazing and my favorite part of this house. The detail….
Man, think of how many of us could live there. In style! ✌️
Why not open the door and say “Welcome to my crib”?
Right on MTV Cribs .that takes me back
Wow! I could so live in this house. Thanks for sharing before demolished. So sad. ❤😢
People with this kind of money can spend as they please. I personally would not want a house this large but would prefer a few smaller homes in different parts of the country or world.
Well if you have ambitions that big you had better spend less time watching videos and typing replies and stay on task at work?!?!?!?!?!
@@gideoncone6024 Where in my comment did it say it was my ambition?!?!?! And are you always that stupid or just today!?!?!?!
I would have a riding arena and barns for 🐎 🐴 🐎 🐴 🐎
Ppl are so wasteful and uncaring !!
I would hope whatever demo company is hired would at least strip it and salvage what they can for resale. That could be a whole other business. Still completely ridiculous to demolish!
I know what area you're in, and those houses over there are amazing. What a great find, Ethan !!!
Sadly, I have no idea where this is located or who lives next door. It's driving me crazy!
What a sinful thing to do while millions live on the streets with no food throughout Toronto streets
What does that have to do about mansions?
@@REALMAGGIETRUDEAU demolishing a $40 million house that was built 18 years ago to build a new one?
You see nothing wrong with this?
He got his money from those homeless folks who buy his ugly voice on the internet and the radio 📻
@Head_On So, the original owner is re building another house?
@@MichaelM-id3ii yes,that’s Drake’s old house 🏠 that he built in 2004
@Head_On It says Drake's Neighbor's house, not Drake's house. Drake's neighbors used to own it.
The amount of material that could be reclaimed and reuse etc not to mention the scrap value
Your heart is so into this ❤so is all of us 😊thank you for sharing your exploring with us ❤️
People may have made it, but are they truly happy?
Beautiful home. Great job exploring. Keep em coming bro
CUTE ….. either YOU have high end countertops or they have cheap countertops 😁
This one excites you Ethan and it shows what a lovely house
I could not even imagine living in something like that , it’s so beautiful. It’s definitely a house to show of to other people but I’d want to just be there with my family and no one else visiting lol
I think you have a fabulous channel. Don't let negative comments get to you. You will never make everyone happy. Misery loves company and they'll try to spread it to you.
