Check out the video's with Brian at the keyboards... the song he wrote "Who Wants To Live Forever" where Brian is playing the organ in the beginning of the video and also Brian's tribute song to Freddie...No One but You (Only the Good Die Young). 💗
OF COURSE! Brian played everything that was needed for a song, if no one else could; he just learned how to do it! I think he plays like 1300 instruments 😸😸😸!!!!!!!... But... We ALL KNOW WHICH ONE HE DOES BEST, AND BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE 😺😺😺😸!!!!!!!!!!!
All four of them were multi instrumentalists. John Deacon often recorded all the parts of his songs, Roger did for a couple of songs, Brian I know did, and Freddie played the guitar on CLTCL. They were all equally talented yet so different. That’s what made Queen great.
no clicktrack in-ears or anything like that needed . Sure even today a lot of bands (expecially in the rock genre) work like they did back than, but more and more they need technical support.
2:44 These guitar solo and sifting to the piano are different from studio version, but I think these parts are most beautiful and emotional in this whole concert.
I've been obsessed with this song for a couple of months now, and it's showing no signs of going away. Such a beautiful song, and this performance is one of the best ever. The vocals, the backing vocals, the music, all just absolutely incredible.
Magnificently sung. My favourite track from The Game album. I loved it first when I had the Greatest Hits cassette tape more than 30 years ago. My collection on CD also includes the Montreal concert.
Tell me about it! As someone who was born in 2004, it would have been amazing to see Queen when Freddie Mercury was still alive & John was still with the band. However I did get to see Brian & Rodger when Queen + Adam Lambert were in St. Paul, MN in October 2023!
@@NateOnThe-Radio I was alive when they were touring, but I had only been 4 the last time they were in the US. I’ve seen Queen + PR once and Q + AL 4 times. I should have seen them 5 times, but I was in the hospital for October 2023
They are 4 perfect musical geniuses. Love the special moment between Freddie and Brian. Freddie’s incredible voice is so full of passion, energy and love. Irreplaceable! ♥️💙💯🎶🎤
I am Japanese. I got into Queen because of Bohemian Rhapsody. This year, on February 7, 2024, I went to the QUEEN concert held at Kyocera Dome! This remastered version was being shown at a movie theater, and I wanted to go if I had the time. I also love this Save me!
I played the trumpet in the drum and flute corps from the fourth grade until I graduated from elementary school, and at that time I once played Queen's Born to Love You.
I remember the first time I watched this performance. At the time I had no idea Brian could play the piano and I was absolutely stunned! Each of them is so incredibly talented.
Great great song in the Queen catalogue written by Brian May it’s amazing when you have 4 great writers in one band ! And Freddie’s voice is always awesome and here he does his ballad voice and rock vocals omg he makes this song unbelievably great!
Wonderful seeing Brian at the piano, singing, playing his guitar! Freddie at the piano, singing. John and Roger splendid, all the 4 together! I love them! 🎉❤
What an amazing performance. Queen are so ”musical”. The music skills really shine through in this track. Brian wrote one of Queens best ballads, and Freddie made it his own, what a voice. The change between Brian playing the piano and then the guitar is wonderful and Freddie taking over during the solo shows how connected they are as a band. John and Roger doing an amazing job as well. ❤
Im still 11 but I really love queen they inspired me to do music what really inspired me is brian and roger they got me into drums and guitar and john got me into bass and piano into freddie they all inspired me to play instruments
It's kind of sweet how Freddie makes the audience wait for a moment and then slowly walks over to Brian with a grin on his face to give him the perfect cue.
I love where Freddie casually gets rid of his handheld mic before sitting at the piano at just the right moment to play that, so that Brian could be standing up ready to play guitar. I, too, didn't know Brian played piano. That must have been useful when recording songs where Freddie wanted to concentrate just on belting out his singing while still being accompanied by live piano. :-) 02:40
great song, one of their best, it blows my mind that I got to know The Queen pretty much through this song - a good friend of mine made a cassette compilation, this was the beginning - and that magnificent album that was “The Game,” and it's a shame that it never got much air time
This band. What a profound mark they have made on me since the Game... and continue to put a spell on me to this day. This band with Freddie at the helm was untouchable. No other artist nor band comes close for me.
Jego głos,genialna interpretacja utworów pełna wrażliwości i uczucia i perfekcyjna gra na pianinie❤ czynią go wyjątkową osobą. Też Cię kochamy Freddie 😍❤❤❤
Awh, I love seeing Brian on the piano! And this time you get to see Bri and Feddie playing piano on the same song! They're both so distinct from each other! And those transitions are incredible!
This is by far the best version of this song. Who agree?
Oakland 80?
Yes indeed, it's a beautiful performance
Interesting how they changed some of the guitar parts into piano parts
I adore the moment when Freddie nods and Brian starts to play the piano, both of them smiling.
I guess Freddie picks up the right key from Brian.
We all miss Freddy so much, he was special and unmatched to this day. Best rock frontman ever.
De todos os gêneros musicais!
And musician dont forget. Not just a frontman. Actually on his opinion he was a musicina first frontman second
We miss FREDDIE more!
We are all lucky to live in the same era as a legend called Freddie Mercury !!!
Hi everybody!! Every day l like him more! What a voice and a great charisma. Queen are amazing and timeless!!!
I didn't realize Brian played the piano. He was from the piano to the guitar and didn't miss a beat. Freddie was amazing as always.❤❤❤👏👏👏

Part of the soundtrack for The movie, Highlander.
Beautiful song and video.

This is my favorite song off "The Game" album, and seeing them do it live at Madison Square Garden in September of 1980 was awesome.
Lucky you. I was in Alphabet City but barely 9 years old.
Same in August, Charlotte NC...
I'm jealous
All three MSG 1980 versions are available on UA-cam. My favorite is the version from the 28th.
@Netbook451 it's been a while. I'm not sure what date I went, can't find the ticket stub.
Not only my favorite band of all time, but the best of all time, and I just turned 62 this past February.

Nobody like Freddie Mercury, NO ONE, there will never be a rock singer and performer like him... UNIQUE AND UNMATCHED
The world Lives him.Including me❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You can say that again
Brian is a really underrated piano player, many people seem to look over that and focus on his exceptional guitar playing!
Wyjątkowa gra na bardzo wyjątkowej gitarze 🤗
Totally agree! 😊❤ 0:58
Brian actually wrote the words and music to this song. Lol.
Boys and girls of today, this is what PURE talent looks like.
Couldn't agree more! 👏👏👏 Nobody will EVER match Freddie ❤
Amen to that!❤

me too ☺, really love that part, the melodi is so beautiful and emotional with all the instrument in perfect harmony.
The ultimate example of perfection.
Queen forever ❤
Never will anyone be better than queen ❤

Brilliant performance of this song. Queen. The best band that ever lived.
I agree.
I become more impressed with Queen every time I see these live performances. This band was crazy awesome!

I was obsessed with this and It lasted for a year maybe more
Now I still love it but I'm not so obsessed as I was in the 2020

I'm in my 2nd year now, but I'm still obsessed 😂
I wish I could listen to it for the first time again.

Aaaaaw crap........now that you mention it, now it's one of mine.
My mum saw them in 1982, said it was amazing. I’ve still got her ticket!
Then I have been TRULY blessed!! Seat AA1 at the Hartford Coliseum, 1980 . . .

Still my fav and always will. Long live Queen ❤
I’m watching now. Fan since I was 16, now I’m 68 years old. “Save me” beautiful song, magnificent music from the 4 Legends. QUEEN FOR EVER ❤
This specific performance of this song is beyond perfect
Imo, Roger's backing vox are better on Milton Keynes 82, but you're all welcome to disagree :)
@@timg5011milton keynes is very great too, but for me it's more about freddie's vocals and imo here he did waaay better on this specific song
Freddie Mercury was a excellent singer and performer 😢😢R.I.P

The tremolo vibrato from brian in the solo... So satisfying

No one comes close to the tone, range and power in Freddie's vocals!!!!! He was such an AMAZING singer!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Finally, Queen officially posting this Rock Montreal Masterpiece.
Love how Freddie forgets the lyric in the second verse but beautifully rescues it just in time.
