I’m incredibly jealous. I’m an 80’s baby, so missed out on real music. I will admit that my parents played the shit outta bands such as Queen, Toto, Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, INXS, Cannes Heat and so on, but listening to them on record would never compare to experiencing them first hand.

@alfredoma5015 I am still searching for my people. All alone in life, it's very exhausting 😞 And losing my best bunny friend ever doesn't help. 😢☮️ 🌈😇 Thanks for your comment friend 💜
What an amazing person, just one day late! I’m pretty sure my life will be over and there still won’t be anyone else as good as a singer as Freddie! Rest In Peace forever.✌️ we love ya Freddie!
Im 66 and of course I knew some Queen but after I watched Bohemian Rapsody I was suddenly aware of a huge volume of rock music that I never appreciated. I appreciate it now. What a great bunch of musicians and a fantastic band!
To anybody who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life.
The Gospel harmonies of this track and prayer like lyrics are awesome !! Rogers range is amazing and Johns bass line is brilliant . Freddie is on another level.
(Edit)Today, FREDDIE is 74. Happy birthday to the most legendary legend to ever have legended. :) (Edit) Haha, I didn't think I'd get this much likes, but I offer all of these likes to the legend who obv is Freddie U guys happy now, I spelled it correctly.
I was lucky enough to see them live countless times. Also met them on several occasions. All were wonderful individuals and extremely talented. I saw the movie and loved it.
Right. Depends on mood too. I can't listen to "don't stop me now" while on the freeway.... i accelarate.... like an atom bomb, i'm gonna go go go, there's no stopping meeeee.....
@@fierfighter well that’s your, subjective, opinion that doesn’t matter at all to anyone. Seriously, when will you let people listen to their own music? You guys are the reason classic rock fans get a bad reputation.
What is it about Queen's music that has such a fucking truth to it. It's such a simple lyric; *Each morning I get up, I die a little. I can barely stand on my feet. Take a look in the mirror and cry.* and yet its like he's singing for all of us. Maybe its his voice or just how good the music is, but there's something about him that's kind of omnipresent and that's comforting in the worst of times.
Definitely! It's like he sings about himself but it just brings us closer to the song because we all feel the same way. He's just pure genius, he's just special in a way, and there's nothing in the world like it.
Hearing Brian's guitar during the 20th Century Fox opening was kick ass --- then hearing this song --- I was literally jizzing in my undies and the fuckin' movie barely started 😍😍😍
i'm gonna cry when i hear this one in the movie. AND if i see a David Bowie cameo i'll drop down and star crying like a baby. EDIT: You guys don’t know how much I cried and enjoyed the movie. :’)
It makes me so happy that the movie Bohemian Rhapsody has brought so much attention to John Deacon and Roger Taylor! They were such talented members of Queen and deserve all of the love that is being sent their way by members of younger generations who didn't grow up knowing their names.
@@Dwi205 John even built his own amplifier, the "Deacy Amp". He was/is truly interested in electrical engineering. As soon as he brought his small amp to Queen rehearsals and recordings, the sound engineers and Brian immediately adopted it.
John Deacon is one of the most underrated bassists ever! Mr Deacon, if you see this, many blessings to you in your retirement. We miss you and all you gave to the music industry.
Muy cierto, Deacon es parte del éxito de Queen y se le extraña en estos tiempos. Gracias Mr. Deacon, por la buena música que nos ha dejado a los Fans de Queen...
John's first hit that was written by him on an electric piano "You're My Best Friend". Simple song written beautifully, with the simple thought of how he feels for his best friend- his wife.
[Intro] Can anybody find me somebody to love? John didn't actually sing in this part of the song but he did on stage but the crew knew to keep the fader/volume low because John isn't knowing for his amazing singing voice. No offense Deaky
...and Queen's best song @ that!!! This was in the top 20 of Billboard's U.S. singles chart exactly 40 years ago this week in 1977!!! How I miss hearing songs like this during my youth. I remember hearing songs like this on the old AM radio dial as an eleven year old in '77!!! They definitely don't write & record songs like this anymore, for sure!!! Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Lady Gaga & Katy Perry only wish they can write & sing songs this wonderful, which they can't!!! If only there could be more Queens, Bowies & Rod Stewarts in this day & age. Maybe such talented types will return to music again someday - who knows? Bravo, Freddie Mercury (R.I.P.), Brian May, John Deacon & Roger Taylor!!!
Bought myself „ A Day at the Races“ in 1976 and never regretted it. I am still listening to the album today and it is my companion for more than 48 years now. Even today I am a huge fan of the Band and they created enough fantastic music to listen everyday 😎
I can't find any source that confirms this, how come people think that? If it's because of the video, it doesn't hold up. I'd like it to be true, but I'm just not sure.
Simple and true are your words. Undoubtedly , Queen has been and still is the greatest rock band of all time, just like The Beatles and Led Zeppelin in my opinion of course. And Freedy the best performer in all history. That title is undisputed

What an amazing person, just one day late! I’m pretty sure my life will be over and there still won’t be anyone else as good as a singer as Freddie! Rest In Peace forever.✌️ we love ya Freddie!

SuperPopTartz YOU ARE SO LUCKY! I wish I had the same birthday as Freddie
Im 66 and of course I knew some Queen but after I watched Bohemian Rapsody I was suddenly aware of a huge volume of rock music that I never appreciated. I appreciate it now. What a great bunch of musicians and a fantastic band!

It's impossible to listen to a Queen song without singing along.

Entire countries dedicate Freddy mercury songs. That's when you know he's the Greatest
I was lucky enough to see them live countless times. Also met them on several occasions. All were wonderful individuals and extremely talented. I saw the movie and loved it.
How were they as people ? I'd love to know more :)
Luckyyyy
Wow, you're lucky! I've seen many people say they were all personable and receptive. Do you confirm that? :-)
Greatest show on earth.

My favorite Queen song. Freddie had the greatest voice of all time.
All of Queen's songs are somethings we can't compare between them because they're all masterpieces.
Right. Depends on mood too. I can't listen to "don't stop me now" while on the freeway.... i accelarate.... like an atom bomb, i'm gonna go go go, there's no stopping meeeee.....

@@fierfighter Again. Your *subjective* opinion.
:).bbC.co Xxx v l.p. :) i
Definitely! It's like he sings about himself but it just brings us closer to the song because we all feel the same way. He's just pure genius, he's just special in a way, and there's nothing in the world like it.

Just like logical disjunction
It makes me so happy that the movie Bohemian Rhapsody has brought so much attention to John Deacon and Roger Taylor! They were such talented members of Queen and deserve all of the love that is being sent their way by members of younger generations who didn't grow up knowing their names.
just curious... who is Electrician ? and who is the Dentist ? between Roger and John
Dwi205
Roger is the 'dentist'. He has a biology degree. John has a degree in electrical engineering.
@@Dwi205 John even built his own amplifier, the "Deacy Amp". He was/is truly interested in electrical engineering. As soon as he brought his small amp to Queen rehearsals and recordings, the sound engineers and Brian immediately adopted it.
Sorry but "electrician" is not the same as "electrical engineering" --- please give Deaky the proper respect for his higher education
And that was the problem to little Freddy
John Deacon is one of the most underrated bassists ever! Mr Deacon, if you see this, many blessings to you in your retirement. We miss you and all you gave to the music industry.
Muy cierto, Deacon es parte del éxito de Queen y se le extraña en estos tiempos. Gracias Mr. Deacon, por la buena música que nos ha dejado a los Fans de Queen...
John's first hit that was written by him on an electric piano "You're My Best Friend". Simple song written beautifully, with the simple thought of how he feels for his best friend- his wife.
He is not underrated
He actually does not have a UA-cam account
I think that the rolling stone magazine has placed him in the 32nd place

[Intro]
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
[Verse 1]
Each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
(Take a look at yourself in the mirror and cry)
Take a look in the mirror and cry
Lord what you're doing to me
I have spent all my years in believing you
But I just can't get no relief, Lord
[Chorus]
Somebody (Somebody)
Ooh, somebody (Somebody)
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Yeah
[Verse 2]
I work hard (He works hard) every day of my life
I work 'til I ache my bones
At the end (At the end of the day)
I take home my hard-earned pay all on my own (Goes home on his own)
I get down (Down) on my knees (Knees)
And I start to pray (Praise the Lord)
'Til the tears run down from my eyes, Lord
[Chorus]
Somebody (Somebody)
Ooh, somebody (Please)
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Oh
[Bridge]
(He works hard) everyday (Everyday)
I try and I try and I try
But everybody wants to put me down
They say I'm goin' crazy
They say I got a lot of water in my brain
No, I got no common sense
(He's got) I got nobody left to believe
No, no, no, no
[Chorus]
(Oh, Lord)
Ooh somebody
Ooh (Somebody)
Anybody find me
Somebody to love
(Can anybody find me someone to love)
[Verse 3]
Got no feel, I got no rhythm
I just keep losing my beat (You just keep losing and losing)
I'm okay, I'm alright (He's alright, he's alright)
I ain't gonna face no defeat (Yeah, yeah)
I just gotta get out of this prison cell
Someday I'm gonna be free, Lord
[Outro]
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Somebody (Somebody)
Somebody (Somebody)
Somebody (Find me)
(Somebody find me somebody to love)
Can anybody find me
Somebody to
Love?
(Find me somebody to love) Ooh
(Find me somebody to love) Find me somebody
(Find me somebody to love) Somebody, somebody, somebody to love
(Find me somebody to love) Find me, find me, find me, find me, find me
(Find me somebody to love) Ooh, somebody to love
(Find me somebody to love) Ooh, find me, find me, find me somebody to love

4 great musicians. One great song
...and Queen's best song @ that!!!
