That women’s reaction at the end perfectly encapsulates what’d I imagine anybody in her shoes now a days would feel like, witnessing such a stunning performance. She does not snap another picture despite holding the camera ready for an action shot, but she instead stands in awe, utter shock at the powerful display of raw emotion. She’s just processing and admiring it in the moment because she probably has realized she does not need a still image to remember nor would one single shot appropriately capture what she saw or what she felt. But the memory is burned in her mind.

Having played in bands myself, I tell ya, those live moments where you glance over at your buddy before something important, and hes looking right back at you and you feel the energy as you both work in unison.. those breif moments can burn themselves into your memory.
These guys must have some incredible memory banks from their time with Freddie, that none of us will ever really know

Freddie was so brilliant, and I must also say that I loved that I could also hear Roger Taylor so clearly. Both of their voices were so powerful that neither one could drown the other out.

Roger just doesn't get enough credit for his vocals. By this time they had figured out the perfect way he could lift so much of the weight off of Freddie so his voice could make it through the show and under pressure and somebody to love are a perfect showcase of how well Roger's and Freddie's voices worked together. ❤

So. This footage is ridiculously clean and crisp for 1981. The performance is obviously spectacular, too. What a privilege it must have been to witness this band live.

It was filmed with movie cameras (35mm) so it better be looking good. And this show was released in cinemas as well, and will release again on IMAX by January, so thats sweet.
