I got quoted $750 to replace all brakes pads ....after seeing this might just try it my self? I'm very good with stuff like this should I do it yes or no? 😂
Hi Marc Favell- I’m always a supporter of diy jobs, so I’d say go for it if you’ve got the time! Time is always the key factor for me when deciding on stuff like this. Good luck if you go for it!
Good video, but it would have been more useful to actually see you remove the pads and clips and replace the pads and clips rather than just the before and afterward. You spoke of the grease but never showed us where to put it. However, you showed nearly all the steps to removing and replacing the tire except jacking up the vehicle. I only mention this for those of us who would benefit from the omissions. 😮😮😮...It would have also been nice to actually see the cylinder being reset with that c-clamp...ijs. The parts that were a little difficult for you would have been inspiring to see if we were to encounter the same difficulties...
Hello- thanks for that comment. This was definitely an early video for me and at that time I didn’t even have a phone clamp to use for shooting video. I agree that I could have done better. I think my content has improved, or at least that is my intent. Again, thanks for watching and commenting.
I got all the tools and I am going to try to do it myself, as well. Thanks for your video !
You can do it! Good luck!

Do you have to do the thingy with the cylinder?
Yep! Pop the cap on the fluid reservoir. Get a big c-clamp or something and squeeze it gently back in. Check around the 3:00 mark.
