@@RaquelFinkelstein I’m glad someone does, I spend too much time looking those up for the videos 🤣

Thanks for this video! Ran into the opposite caliper failure (they are fully extended and won't retract, even with the correct tool for the rear calipers, to turn them back in), so pretty sure they are seized. I also have to do a budget repair, but so far the parts are getting up there! You made the full procedure really clear and easy to understand. It is obvious that my Brother and I are overthinking this (we were removing the nut and cap screw on the back of the caliper thinking those parts had to be reused). +1 sub! 🍁

If u go under the vehicle where the e-brake cable splits into 2 cables you can pull slack on those cables and hold them with vice grips. Especially on the passenger side cable.

So installed mine the same but it has, in one day, already worn down the inside pad over half. My emergency cable was ceased so I couldn't re attach it. Could that be the issue?

Yes, could also be a seized caliper piston, or seized slider pins.

I was going to say the same thing, that's a bad leak for a caliper

You dont need big gobs of grease on the pads like that, just put it on the parts of the caliper that touch the pads. Just saying.

@@BassManStrikes each to their own, that’s just the way I do it because of the severe rust I see in my area, I find the lube helps keep the moisture away from those contact points increasing the lifespan of those areas before rust takes over
