How to Fix Broken Stanley Mug Handle - Quencher Tumbler
Here I show what worked and what didn’t work to fix my daughter’s cherished Stanley mug. It’s a Stanley Quencher 40oz tumbler with handle. I first tried JB Steel Stik, which did not work. Next I used JB Plastic Bonder, and yes! Success!

Move Washer Supply Valves - Copper Press Fittings
Переглядів 2052 місяці тому
This video is not my best quality! It was made from clips we took for the utility tub installation video. As the scope of our little project morphed, it made sense to break the project into 2 videos. I am certainly not a plumber, so there probably things that weren’t done right. BUT, the press fittings all sealed perfectly! The iron pipe fittings ended up being a leak fiasco. After I left, Jere...

Hit a Deer With Dodge Grand Caravan - Let’s Fix It!
Переглядів 374Рік тому
Here I dive in to repairing our family minivan after hitting a deer with it. The van was “totaled” according to insurance, but I bought it back to fix it up. It wasn’t that difficult, so feel free to give it a try! All parts were found with car-part.com at local junkyards. Total cost = $900 plus my time and gas.
How Does A Clothes Dryer Work? A Look At The Internals
Переглядів 216Рік тому
I had my dryer pulled apart to replace the rear drum seal, and while it was in pieces, I thought I’d figure out how it works and show you my findings. I always thought air was being blown into the drum, but now see that the fan is downstream of the drum, creating suction through the drum. That makes much more sense! This is a Whirlpool Cabrio that we bought in 2017 or 2018 I think. WED8000DW4

Whirlpool Dishwasher Code F8E4 - Drip Tray Leak
All the damn commercials killed it for me ...DISLIKE!!😢
Thanks Steve, I just installed a dishwasher like yours and had the same problem with some water drippage. I'll remove that tray and I'm sure everything will be fine. Saved me a service call.
Great! Thanks for the comment!
Thank u so much it worked so well
You're welcome! I’m curious, did you do steel stik and plastic bonder, or just the plastic bonder?
Hey guys, quick tip. At Walmart or wherever ur buying ur paint cans from, they make a 2 dollar snap on. Goes right over the sprayer. It has a trigger u can use. Doesn't make your finger tired and its a consistent spray. Nice little attachment u can use for all your cans. Figured id share so y'all can take a look into it when doing ur projects 🤘😜🔥
Thanks for the info! That’s a great idea!
Thank you 🙏
You’re welcome 😊
COMMON PROB.. THANKS FOR THE VID.. AND TELL UR DAUGHTER TO HOLD THE SCREW GUN STRAIGHT W THE SCREW, ANGLING IT LIKE THAT CAN STRIP THEM. BUT ITS SO COOL UR TEACHING HER AND WILLING TO LEARN. :)
Thanks for the comment!
My manual doesn't show anything for an installation cycle or series of buttons. Can you tell me what the cycle and button series is?
Are Attic trusses designed to expand and contract or can you connect an attic truss to a load and non-load bearing wall
Good question! It is my understanding that they will move seasonally, so when attaching non-load bearing walls, I used truss clips. It’s little L-shaped bracket that is slotted where the truss attaches. This allows the truss to move while still keeping the wall below plumb. If you have a designed load bearing wall below your trusses, I think you could hard fasten that. Thanks for watching!
Where does he show. Putting the kickplate on at the bottom?are we supposed to guess?
So sorry! Many people have noted that miss on my part. I plan to make a separate video on that and when I do I’ll link it in the description. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Saved me a lot of money, thanks for the video
Glad I could help! Thanks for commenting!
what type of wood 4x4s did you use? did you finish them with anything before installing? Thanks for the great video,
They are ground contact, pressure treated 4x4 posts. No treatments needed! Thanks for commenting!
Another thing you should know about mine, when we turn the icemaker back on for the bottom icemaker it doesn’t make ice. It just makes a sheet of ice on the ice cube drawer . So I’m definitely getting water. And it’s possibly the fill valve.
Two questions: did you try defrosting the entire bottom freezer and where did you get the fill tube? I am no longer under warranty.

I have same piece of crap G.E. fridge. Not even a year and a half old.. NO ICE. No more G.E. for me. They won't fix.
Thanks for the video! What size is the stress relief connector?! And is it ok to use non metallic since instructions say use metallic?
Excellent video! You helped me a lot, appreciate it 🙏
Top tier. Thanks brother.
This is a long shot but you dont have part numbers perchance?
Thank you so much for this video. I was able to follow your instructions and stop the beeping at 4AM! I was able to fix the problem with the drip tray later on (after much needed sleep) and put all the insulation and access panel back the correct way. You rock!
Appreciated... about to buy one... TY - Nova Scotia
We're dishwasher buddies! Also have one ordered (from Costco) in Nova Scotia.
I built all my landscaping in the back yard with wood 5 or 6 years ago. Now I'm completely replacing everything with concrete. Will never have to worry about everything rotting again
So far my treated lumber is holding up to its “ground contact” rating. I hope it stays that way for a long time!
You've explained this process better than anyone so far. Do you have a similar solution for a less sloped area that has a ton of tree roots under it?
For a lesser slope, you can just have longer “treads”, so your steps would be spaced out further. As for the tree roots, if you can’t dig through them, you could add a layer of gravel or sand and build the steps into that instead. I hope you find a good solution!
@@NashwaukSteve Thank you very much!!
Who ever did that shingle job, looks like crap.
Thanks for watching
Good video thx!
No problem!
You skipped the access cover installtion :(
My bad!
This video is a lot of valuable info. Thank you so much!
You're so welcome! I refer back to it every year myself
This was extremely helpful. Thank you!!
You're so welcome!
Your diligence is amazing!
When your family loves their ice, diligence isn’t an option! 😂
I didn't see a base gasket on #3 cylinder when you installed it
Thanks for the comment
What kind of tool do I use to uncrew the knob? The knob on my dishwasher doesnt have any indents to unscrew it
Not sure what knob you’re referring to. Can you describe it more?
Thank you
You're welcome
Nice job. I purchased the same model, by chance. So glad I found your video. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Exact year of mine, and it was the passenger side bulb!! You say 5/32 allen, another video says T-25 torx. I'm guessing either will work as I used the torx. Now I'm just waiting on my drivers side to go out.... 😁😁
Thanks for watching! Yeah either will work, but I think it’s meant for torx.
THANKS
You're welcome!
This happened to mine and it must have dried up because after two days it fixed itself
I love problems that fix themselves!
Great video, brother. Determination and perseverance are Omni Potent.
Well said!
Im going to ask this as politely as i can. WHY THE FUCK DOESNT IT COME WITH A POWER CORD INSTALLED LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE IN THIS GOD FORSAKEN WORLD?
I hear you. Makes no sense to me!
The steps I am having the most trouble with, you skip over them, such as how to get the float tray back on and reconnected.
Same. WTH!
Yeah, sorry I missed that part on the video. My mistake!
It actually lays horizontal just above the floor and just snaps in as you push it towards the back wall.
Ditels me nahi bataya cat oor dika di
Thanks for watching
i know this is an old video but i’m glad i came across it, where were you able to get the part from?
Hello- Amazon sells tons of replacements. Just be sure to get the right overall length, and most importantly the right length of exposed cable at the end. That determines how much pull distance you get. I actually bought a 2 pack and put the extra one under my couch. (I ended up needing it)
Man, got everything except that damn bolt back in! The starboard bolt on the top steering bearing is in the way of the socket lining up. Will keep perservering, gave up after 45min last night due to lack of light, trying again today with better light and clearer mind. Up trim now working with the new limit sender, though trim gauge I now suspect faulty as operation hasn't changed 😢 (guage only moves about 1 tenth travel from down then flicks to full up)
And just like that, 5 minutes later the thread started. I found the wires have to be coming out the sides, pull the trim limit wire (sender unmounted) up and over the port steering bolt, get good light in there, get the bolt into the bracket and hole (that tape idea is brilliant) then slide a flat long screwdriver in above the bell housing and push on the socket as you gently turn. Perfect now!
Hey- I’m glad to hear you got that bolt in! It’s no treat, but as you proved, it’s doable. Hopefully you get the gauge figured out. I’d just check the internals of the trim sender unit. My Sierra brand one was broken when I got it, so it wasn’t sending a good portion to the gauge. I ended up using the old mercruiser internals. Thanks for watching, my friend! I always feel a connection with folks that take on this project!
@@NashwaukSteveI pulled the old sender apart and it was OK, tested it at the gauge directly and same result. New eBay cheapie gauge arrived and fitted and now working perfectly. Was $180 for a genuine gauge, $30 for eBay cheapie. Doesn't quite look the same but will do for now! So much more confident now I know where the motor is sitting. Next job is a transom mounted tilt switch...
This helped! Thanks!
Glad it helped!
Straight and to the point. Saved me from staring angrily at the dishwasher while I waited for someone to come out to fix the cause.
Excellent!
Grest video! Do you have the lenght and diameter of the auger drill bit and the ground stakes? Maybe link to where you got the stakes? Thsnks
Hello, I bought some 10 foot lengths of 1/2” rebar from Lowe’s. I used a angle grinder with a metal cut off wheel to cut the stakes around 20” each. I hope that helps!
Thank you for sharing I appreciate you. I just needed a refresher it's been 12yrs since c I mounted the last 1.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
not helpful if youre skipping the exhaust vent portion.
I installed mine in default recirculating mode. You’ll need to find a different video of you are venting externally.
Great work. Planning to do similar project in very look alike slope Is it possible to know the lenght and diameter of the rebars and also the auger drill bit? Thanks
Hello- rebar lengths were about 20” and the auger bit was 1/2”. Good luck!
That did the job. Thank you!!
Glad it helped! Nice work!
Thank you!!!!
