- By Azura! Finally, it is here! The Ultimate Tier list of all the Daedric Princes from Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim! This is the most complex AI voice meme for the Elder Scrolls series that I had to make. A lot of effort went into this video, so I am really hoping that it brings you joy. Dagoth Ur doesn't particularly like the Daedric Princes, but has still decided to rank them individually for your enjoyment. The Princes mentioned are:
Nocturnal, Boethiah, Jyggalag, Clavicus Vile, Hircine, Azura, Namira Meridia, Mephala, Peryite, Sanguine, Vaermina, Hermaeus Mora, Mehrunes Dagon, Molag Bal, Malacath, Sheogorath
Also, Lucien LaChance and a Sleeper make an appearance in the video.

Dagon didn’t fail, he destroyed the order of the Empire dummy. Bal did fail.
@@derekrau8236 except he did fail... Dagon's driving goal is to conquer Nirn....which he failed.... everytime he's tried. Practically everything he does is in service of him conquering Nirn including destroying the order of the Empire. Where as Molag Bal just wants to harvest, consume and hold sway over the souls of mortals and spread strife and discord throughout the mortal realms, I'd say Bal is having alot more success than Dagon is.
@@theonewayroad3867 One of the greatest theories I've seen is that Dagon never actually wanted to "conquer" Nirn, that's just how he sold the idea to the Mythic Dawn. Dagon doesn't seem to care about holding power, just destruction and upending order, which he achieved wonderfully. It's actually quite brilliant, most mortals would never destroy and amass an army simply for the sake of destruction and chaos, so he gives them a motivation to, now the goal isn't "destroy the Empire" it's "take over the world" which is a lot more convincing to someone like Mancar Camoran, who believes that they'll be rewarded. Not to mention that he forced Martin Septim into a corner, knocking out the last in the emperor's line as his final action in Nirn, and his invasion showed that the Empire was unable to stop a true threat, making them look weak.
Bal failed significantly, he's the prince of domination, he of all the daedric princes would desire to truly conquer and hold Nirn, yet he failed, simply wreaking havoc.

I'm curious and afraid about what happens once that madlad gets his hand on the AI voice. It is impressive, sure, but something about cutting and pitch shifting the voice lines from the games is pure, janky goodness.

I like how Dagoth Ur seems to only fear Sheogorath, not because he thinks Sheo is more powerful, but because he knows Sheo is way too chaotic to dare insult. One day you might wake up and your entire continent is replaced with cheese. He would never go out of his way to just kill you, all he'd do was drive you... well, mad.
whats funny is that he is so annoying its implied he drove himself mad. after the greymarch, the obliv protag mantles sheo and becomes him, and while he start out still acting normal, by the time skyrim rolls around he's gone completely mad.

also if you didnt know, sheogorath is voiced by wes johnson, who does the male imperial/guard voices for oblivion.

Keep in mind, M. Dagon already knew that the Prisoner or the player character is destructive enough for him not to intervene.
Personally, I'd say my favorite two princes (of three if you count The Artist Formerly Known As Prince lol) would have to be Sanguine and Hircine. At least in Skyrim, Sanguine isn't outright evil and he just wants to have a good time, even if it means getting shit-faced and doing some crazy-ass shit.
Hircine is one of my favorites because I love his whole deal -- he's a God of hunters, and lycanthropes, and his most well-known form is that of a deer-headed hunter. Also, he's not as evil as his fellow princes -- he believes in fair chances and sportsmanship in his doings. In addition to this, being able to spend the rest of your days as a werewolf hunting in his domain sounds a Hell of a lot better than what some of the other princes offer regarding spending your afterlife.

Doesn't Mephala canonically have more sex cults than Sanguine? And weren't Reman's orgies too debauched for Sanguine? Sure, he's funny but what kind of god of sex and drugs gets out banged by a plot girl and a human emperor who didn't even fully unite tamriel?
Well, Mephala's genericness might actually be intentional. Anything noteworthy about her, she keeps secret. Furthermore, her Ebony Blade isn't stronger but it is faster than any greatsword. Also, my birthday is Sanguine's summoning day, which I think is cool, because he's S-Tier.
Anybody find it weird that in universe, dagoth ur asserted his existence when being confronted with the fact that he is a fiction, and now in reality he has his own personality and asserts himself now in the material universe?

The Aldmer who worshipped Trinimac and Boethia rubbed themselves with the poop and turnes into the Orsimer and Chimer respectively, though the Chimer performing that is only ever mentioned once iirc so not much talked about, unlike for the Orcs. They also probably don't get much shit for it (hah) because the Chimer aren't exactly a thing anymore. Malacath claims that him being shit is taken too literally though.

Sheogorath is instant S Tier. He's the only Daedric Prince you can trust to stab you in the back to your face.
You did Mehrunes Dagon dirty there. Yes, he didn't take over Nirn during the Oblivion Crisis, but that was never his true goal. His domain is causing disasters, spreading chaos, and toppling empires. The end of the Septim Dynasty, the decline of the Empire, the rise of the Thalmor and by extension the Great War and the Skyrim Civil War are all direct consequences of the Oblivion Crisis. No other Daedra (save maybe Molag Bal, Boethia and Azura) has ever come close to the impact Mehrunes Dagon had on Tamriel.
It was a win/win for Dagon anyway. If he won he would have destroyed nirn if he lost he would fundamentally change nirn forever. Each result satisfies him.

I'd place Nocturnal, Sheogorath, Molag, Dagon, and Mora all in S tier while Peryite, and Namira in D tier, Hircine, Azura, and Mephala all get B tier from me. Malacath, Vaermina, and Sanguine get A tier, Jygalag gets C tier. Vile will get A tier before Umbra, but C tier after Umbra. Boethiah I'll give B tier. Sithis, since Lucien wants me to include him despite him not being a Daedra, will get S tier.
Jyggalag in A tier is reasonable. And also, he’s one of the Daedric princes that aren’t “wholly” evil, so that’s a plus. And his Knights and Priests of Order are an interesting concept. The mer being the priests, and the man being the knights. Sounds….rather fitting. And also, order shall prevail!!!
Sithis isn't a Daedric Prince though, he's a higher level being. Like, higher than the Aedra, Lorkhan, etc. Like he's basically one step down from the truest primordial elder god-like beings.

The point of Mehrunes Dagons invasion was never to be some satan-esque figure destroying tamriel, revolution was the point. His plans went off without a hitch, no more septim dragonblood on the throne.

The Daedric princes ARE gods, as described in The Old Way. Just because they didn't create Nirn doesn't mean they aren't deities. They simply didn't fall for Lorkhan's deception and sacrifice their divinity to bring the world into existence. The Nine Divines are objectively weaker than them, because their presence on Nirn was gradually draining their power, and they were forced to flee before they became too weak.
