I’ve had a FS70R for about 6yrs. Best trimmer I’ve ever had as a homeowner. Big enough I can attach a brush blade too occasionally. The engine runs like a sports car, plenty of power. I did drill & tap & add a grease zerk down at the gear box above the cutter to add grease since it doesn’t have 1. And I use the Echo speed feed head to add line way easier.
Quick question for you - I recently got some Gravely touch-up spray paint and was wondering if you need to do any sanding when using it? On the can, the directions don't mention you have to do any sanding.
Would you recommend the 70 or the 94? Not much price difference here in the UK, i had the 70c with the bike handle a few years back came with the advance harness and i threw everything at it very reliable
That’s a great question. The 94 has a little bit more power, but almost seems like it can be a bit more expensive to own when you get into the cost of some of the parts if you treat it right that should be a non-issue
thanks for all these amazing videos, i run a small business cutting 15+ homes a week. ive always used ego tools and they are amazing no complaints besides it always dieing. I dont know if i should buy more new batterys or just make the switch. what are your thoughts?
I think you will find increased performance and efficiency if you moved to a manufacturer that has deeper roots in power equipment. We help people switch from box store brands everyday and hear rave reviews
You are a good instructor, i see you working as a teacher in Stihl outdoors equipment 💯🤙.
Thank you for the compliment

Thanks for sharing. You should have this machine for many more years
I’m not because I work at small engine shop and test the customer equipment on my yard, thanks 🙏
I run a blade on my 70 and it does fine with cutting
It can spin a blade and work ok just be careful with the cable.

To clean the service is a great idea, roughing it up won’t hurt but the finish will be slightly different
The fs70 is all I used to run and I went to the fs 91 r the 91 has little bit bigger motor
It does and a solid drive shaft. Nice upgrade!

$120 more than the 56
It has jumped in price.
Worth it though, the 56 is terribly balanced and vibration is shocking.
No grease place no buy it
Surprisingly we get great life out of this gearbox. If you are a heavy user step of to an FS94 or 111RX
Ipeferb The 26-2🫤
You like the 26-2 better?
