    Mine has one year, runs on only amsoil saber 1.8oz per gallon, regularly adjust the valves and its running like new! Amazing torque, amazing fuel efficiency and very low vibrating. Great for really lost backyards here in Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷

    Carl, can we adjust the valves on our own? Can you do a video about that for FS 111 R? That'd be great. Great video! You got me hooked when I saw your video about comparing 91R, 111R and 131R. I was gonna go with 131R, but read many reviews about being too much for the job. So, I settled on 111R after watching your video. Thank you so much.

    5.22 CFM, or 8834 L/hr
    4 stroke engine formula which this is because of the valves.
    1.9 cu in x 10000rpm/3456 = 5.5 cfm times efficiency of engine (95% given its a naturally aspirated 4 stroke) = 5.22 CFM or 313 Cubic feet per hour
    Simple google conversion says 5.22 CFM = 8834 L/Hr of airflow.

    I have a Kombi 111R string trimmer attachment along with a blower and a hedge trimmer attachment. Where is the grease point on the gear box for the trimmer? I see it on the hedger but there is nowhere to grease on the trimmer piece.

    Does the 111 need to be ran wide open like the 91? Or does it have a better variable throttle than the 91?

    Nice video.I have a FS91R where I changed the head.I pulled that steel plate up and there was a ball bearing underneath. Does it matter where the ball bearing goes. There does not appear to be a set spot.

    Just bought one today for a large job. It won't start at all. All fueled up, everything set up at the dealer, I primed the fuel and I've been trying now for 2 hours and it will not start. Will be returning to the dealer tomorrow.

    Wear a full face shield when weed trimming if you are hitting bare dirt? Safety glasses won’t do the job completely. Eyes are hard to replace and repair

      The FS91R and the FS111R are exactly the same with the exception of the larger displacement of the engine on the 111R. Why the $70 difference in price? Are other things made more sturdy on the 111R model?

    I'm concerned about the fuel ratio. I'm putting a full two-cycle oil bottle to a gallon of gas but on the internet when I look it up it says that it is 50 : 1 ratio ?????

    • @vice4134
      @vice4134 3 місяці тому

      A bottle of oil mix goes into a can of 1 gallon gas. Mix it really good before you pour it into your trimmer. That's what it means 50:1 ratio.

    Can confirm, do not go bareback.
    Shorts are doable, but wear some super THICCCCC wool socks up to your knees or you're gonna be hurting.
    Can also confirm, those gas cans are THE best, HANDS DOWN. I've NEVER in my LIFE had a gas can that doesn't leak when I'm using it...until I found these beauties.

      @@eastindianimpression9699 The point is that FS 450 has an engine that AFAIK doesn't comply with current US eco-regulations and, probably, nowadays can't be sold in US. The most closest to it available on US market are FS 311, FS 360, FS 560. The same is for EU market. Other markets like Latin America, Asia (e.g. India), Russia, etc. are more relaxed towards eco-regulations, so FS 450 is still available there.
