Plein Air Painting in the Cotswolds Part 1

- In this adventure, Nate and I packed up our paints and our hiking gear to explore The Cotswolds, a gorgeous region of England located about two hours west of London. Beginning at Chipping Camden, we set out on a series of trails called the “The Cotswold Way” that took us through wildflower meadows, sheep pastures, and enchanting woodlands. In seven days we walked 45 miles while painting the summer landscape and staying in beautiful honey-colored villages along the way. This truly was a trip of a lifetime, we hope you enjoy!

Thanks! actually.... we aren't in the UK at the moment. We filmed this a while back when we were in the UK and its taken me ages to finally edit and post it. We do have another video from the Cotswolds coming in the next week or so, then a few from the US where we currently live. I REALLY wanted to make a trip down to Devon while we there there, but it just didn't happen. Next time hopefully!

Such a charming couple! I think this was last May as the blossom is on the trees. I love the Cotswolds as it’s where I was born. Trying to work out where you are.

I have a " Day Tripper " easel by Prolific Painter, and I swapped out the palette for a lightweight water color shelf....thing... that attaches to the tripod. I have a wet palette that I attach to the water color shelf....thing.
