Vídeo incrivél, me trouxe muita clareza em lhe dar com peças grandes, porque ainda não dominei o uso do aerógrafo. Parabéns pelo trabalho, novo inscrito no canal.
Thank you for this vidéo. I've always been afraid of figures like wyverns, etc... Cause I don't have an aerograph but now I'm going tomates study your tips and tricks cause the result is awesome! Thanks very much again 😉👍👍👍
The 3 chunky grey dragons in my sad pile of shame would like to thank you sir.😅 Just the guide to get them colored before 2025.😂 That is one awesome Tiamat. I guess my only question is what would you recommend to push the highlight on the faces?
Glad you found the video helpful. To push the highlights id keep it simple and add an extra highlight by drybrushing BUT top down brush direction so to hit the upward edges only and not cover the previous hihglights. As is often the case with drybrushing this will probably mess up details such as teeth and eyes, so for those, normal brush painting to finish of. Hope this was helpful
Nice work! ❤ I have a question concerning oils. I want to start soon with the Phoenix from Kingdom Death Monster, also a large model. I wanted to wet blend with oils as a base coat, as they don't dry so fast. If this is dry, would a later oil wash dissolve some of the color as it is highly diluted with mineral spirits?
It wont if you let your oils properly cure, not just dry. Alternatively you could wait for your wet blending base to mostly dry, secure it with a gloss varnish and then go a head with the wash
one question, please: i saw the final black wash is pretty diluted. doesn´t this wash reactivate the previous ones? i presume you use white spirits to dilute them. thanks!
Good question, after letting the oils dry overnight they will be good to get a further wash on top. When painting miniatures we use so little oil in the end that after 24hs it will be as good as cured
Thanks to Loot Studios for supporting the channel and for such spectacular model!
Hope to hear from them again soon

muito obrigado
Watching it again for the algorithm but still bloody awesome to see, waiting to see the "home made pigment" video soon!
Same here. Love the finish of that pigment. So would love to try different styles of that.
Missed this comment, wwill be going into detail about the pigments on a diorama I'll do for the Krieg 40k Release since ill need a loooot of pigment
Fantastic stuff. Do you varnish at any stage during or afterwards? Keep up the great content 🎉
Only at the end to get a uniform finish since some oils might end up a bit glossy. Thank you
@resourcefulminiatures perfect, I thought this would be the case. Thanks.

Cool video and model!
Just out of curiosity what number is the brush you used for basecoating?
Cheap N6 from the hobby store I had already, but would have used an 8 if I had one
thank you for the great content. Keep it up next year
Thank you very much, next year im making it even better
Mas... porque você não passou uma massa para disfarçar as emendas dos encaixes dos pescoços e das asas?
Fiz isso no pescoço, mas não nas asas. Eu estava contra o relógio para terminar antes do final do ano
Great video, I have a few dragons and cthulhu staring at me off my to do pile!
Thank you, hope you found some part of it helpful to tackle them. I'll have to paint a cthulu myself some time
Nice work! ❤

Tiamat, queen of cromathic dragons.
❤👍🏻
: )
you can hold the model in both hands, it's not that big.
