Jonathan, absolutely outstanding explanation and drill's for the proper setting of the Trail Arm, Rotation and Side Bend!! Maintaining this "structure or setting" will absolutely make the "compression" of the golf ball much better and take the arms and hands OUT OF THE GOLF SWING!! Thank you, .... keep up the great work. 😎⛹️♀️🚴♂️🤸♂️
Best tip on early extension I’ve seen thx you.
I told my grandson you are all he needs to become a good golfer. Your videos are very clear.
I have been watching your videos on TV (no subscribe button there) and enjoying them. I am 67 years old trying to be a better golfer and your videos are excellent! I tried the tips on this video hitting into a net and the old guy is smashing the ball! Thank you!! (I got on my computer and subscribed today)
Wow. Is this guy the best teacher on the net. I think so. Such simple drills but effective, easy to follow. Fab!
I like to think JKM is...
I rate this channel much higher than 80.5k. Its one of the best.
You are without a doubt, the best golf coach I have seen.
Right arm bent at impact is the one thing that is a must for most golfers to be consistent. Just understanding this and working on achieving it is a massive step forward. I never even considered it for years and was always fully extended at impact. Now, 'right arm bent at impact' is my only swing thought. It's amazing how the body finds the right positions in every other respect if you achieve that bent right arm.
It is the most simple swing in the world once you figure it out. It increases distance, accuracy and consistency. Front arm straight, wrists hinged, back elbow close to the body and slightly forward, rotate your upper torso around your spine-keep your wrists hinged until impact and beyond...this will construct your natural swing plane and take the club flush to the ball.
That 3rd preset drill is awesome sauce. Perfect swing thought, top of backswing back the that preset position 👌
It is so important your explain the motion required with the body or parts of the body first. Too many coaches just focus on the form and the position of the club without ever giving instructions how the body movement can achieve that. Like your vids!
Thank you. That is solid instruction.
I've picked up a few bad habits you're pointing out over the years. You are helping me get back to basics. Thanks for the help the drills are immensely helpful.
Der beste Drill den ich je geübt habe. Klasse, vielen Dank!
My game and confidence has greatly improved after viewing your lessons. Thank you!
As a new golfer I love ALL of your videos and how you articulate it in a way that I can get it.
One of the best Videos for a long time
Awesome - the first drill is the best - thanks Jonathan
Love that first drill with the stick in the armpit.
Excellent video. Retired PGA professional 55 yrs
I love that you provide principles then drills to follow..... can't wait to try this on the driving range! Thanks!
I keep coming back to these drills. I think I got it but I've said that before. Waiting for Winter to get out of the way.
JKM... I think your teaching will be able to solve my junior son's swing problems if he can follow exact all your lessons here. Many Thanks there.
Great Job, Johnathan! Thank you for taking the time to post this video!
Can't wait to try these drills. This might be the answer to my game! Love your channel man!
This is exactly what I needed to fix my swing issues. Thank you JKM!
Loved the video, especially the third drill starting with the finishing position then adding side bend.
Very concretely illustrated, thank you!

What a great feeling thx.
Glad I found you sir. Basically back to square one after torn shoulder.
Johnathan you're amazingly good.....thank you for taking somewhat technical stuff and making it simple.... For the novelist to the low amateur.
It is very vital to keep the right arm stick to the body thru impact.
Good job Johnathan simple and excellent presentation
Great drills, as always incredible instruction without over complicating
I am a bit of a technical player and this clip by JK was spot on. Took it to my indoor range with my Voice Caddy LM here in frozen northern Alberta and found a fit very quickly…heading to Phoenix next week to ingrain the positions on the outdoor range and course…👍
Jonathan Kim-Moss (KISS) you keep it so simple S..... that's what is required BRAVO love your simple explanation of concepts and those easy to do preset drill....................by the way where are you located ?
Excellent, Johnathan!
You are my idol! Great drills as always.

Thank you so much for your lesson. You explain it so well and make me understand my mistake. 🙏🙏🙏
Great explanation. This should help fix a couple things I've been trying to work on lag and forward shaft lean. Thanks.
Great video JKM. Thanks.
Excellent lesson!
Wow! Those 3 tips are spot on for me right now! Can’t wait to try them in the morning. Especially that trail side bend. Thanks, Johnathon
I need to follow this modern swing, because old swing with my straight trail arm only make my ball path hook left 100%
Great details, thanks for the insight!
excellent video
Jonathan, Great vídeo. Very helpful. Do you have a similar video with the Driver or with a FW ?
great video. another thing that really helps me that you mentioned was keep the right elbow moving. when I "hit" with my right arm, my elbow stops. you'll never finish a swing like that.
wow great visual
Been trying to do this for awhile, thanks for the reinforcement
Great tips. Heading to the Range today to try them out. Thank you!
How nice you are ! Very patient and clear logic instruction 😊👍❤️
Great info as always.... thanks..
Great video my ball striking and accuracy have improved dramatically. Thank you
Thank you! Awesome information here!
Bro, this is next level. You've already fixed my 4i with a different vid. Great stuff.
New subscriber here from Norway🇳🇴🥰 I will definitely try this. I'm newbie to golf. I had a short training back in 2014 and played 2 of 9 holes only (😬with very little knowledge)after few yrs and now 2021 pandemic brought me to try golf again plus with my husband's encouragement. Thank you and keep making more videos👌🏼❤️
WOW WOW 🤩. LOVE THIS!
Very good! Thanks, will repeat! 👍
Excellent explanation and demo
Awesome drills thanks
Excellent presentations. Simple, clear and if you have to go more technical, easy to understand.
Great instruction, thanks!
Great video and a great drill thank you
Love the drill! Have been struggling with hitting them fat and this may be the reason. Thanks bro. Just became a subscriber!
Excellent drills
Many thanks for this instruction. I will definitely try this. Regards
Great video and drills. That moment at 7:11 is definitely what I need to work on. 🙏
Great drills to achieve this position. Much appreciated. Any suggestions for those of us with side bend flexibility challenges?
10 years of practice is useless, after i watach this video~ Great! and thanks.
Mantaaap terimakasih Jonathan kim, ikut menyimak
ur very good at golfsplainin' KUDOS Kid!!
Great tip👍❤
This drill told me l havent done my workout/yoga.. Nice drill. Need to work on both
Very good instruction Jonathan ... much appreciated. I’m a senior golfer w/ past back issues & trouble with the bending part. Would longer shafts help this? Thanks / mv
Excellent!
Drill 2 to address fast hips and drill 3 for EE! Nice work 👌
Hi Jonathan thank you for sharing your videos really appreciate your insight into the golf swing. Can you talk about how the lead arm needs to be positioned. I see a lot of pros with there albow pointing to the target at address or that's Wharram it looks like. What are your thoughts?
very good!!! thanks
Your video was really useful and practical. Could you teach more about driver swing and practice? Thank you so much .
Good stuff. Would like to see you demo in your swing and also the drill demo in action. Concept on its own is great just recommend more application or how it looks in your own swing.
Youre the best, man
Excellent
Love your teaching delivery. Got anything on tempo?
Great tips! By the way can it be applied to driver swing as well?
Fantastic!! Should you trail arm stay in contact with chest through the back swing?
Thank you so so much
Good one
What joint/limb do you change to get a push draw or pull fade?
Would this apply to the Driver as well? You do a great job thanks
Seems like the first drill shown at 3:10 runs the risk of undoing what was learned in "Beginner Series Episode 5: SMALL SWING" (keeping both arms straight). That probably should have been mentioned. I understand the intent and sprit of the drill though. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks!
good stuff
I like your thorough style man. One thing though, is there a release in the downswing during that drill?
Good anatomic relationships discussed, but the great alignment drills, and body tilt crystallizes it! Hard to get there for less flexible older bodies!
