    Johnathan Kim,
    Your instructions & video are clear.
    Very detail precise.
    No other golf teacher can explain like you. No regret knowing you later. I’m 66 to change my swings.
    Enjoy my later years in golf.
    Thank you so much.

    Great explanation. On the backswing do you keep the pressure on the inside of your feet/thighs?

    Please do a series on the driver, I struggle with the path of this club due to its added length. Any thoughts on building strength in the left arm would also be helpful. I am 60 yrs old and starting to get joint pain.

    Will you go over in more detail about slowing the shoulders to let the hands catch up? This is a huge problem for most people.

    If I may ask please Jonathan, what can I do to prevent myself from come up so quick? Seen your video on that but it just seems to continue to come back, any suggestion to make this a more permanent or controlled motion for me would be greatly appreciated.

    Great series of advice....on this one you mentioned that rotation slows as clubhead approaches the ball...I have going full speed so maybe that's where I'm going wrong ???

    • @JKMGolf
      @JKMGolf  3 роки тому

      That could definitely affect things. Even though the turning of the body is important you want to make sure everything else is in sequence.

    Great video, I feel like am doing the movements like you are explaining but sometimes I too the ball what do you think am doing wrong? Thanks

    • @JKMGolf
      @JKMGolf  3 роки тому

      hard to say without seeing it for myself but assuming you are doing everything correctly, then it is most likely your arms/wrists. However, get some good feedback to ensure everything else is in order. What you think is happening and what is REALLY happening may be completely different!

    Most golf coaches talk about "use the BIG MUSCLES" (rather than the arms) to swing the club. I always thought the "big muscles" meant the shoulders and torso. But you say the shoulders and torso SLOW DOWN as you enter the hitting area. Can you explain the difference?
    Thanks. Great videos. Short and easy to understand. Keep up the good work.

    • @JKMGolf
      @JKMGolf  3 роки тому

      The arms are what is moving the fastest and you generate the most speed with the arms. Most coaches want the majority of players to use the body more because most amateurs/beginners use their arms to hit the ball. If the body moves faster than the arms then you will be out of sequence and wont be able to generate as much speed.

    When you return to the knees flexed position, what muscles are you using to achieve that position? I hear some coaches preach squat or return your right hip to the imaginary wall, etc.. I have been trying to do a crunch (tighten the abs) to do the same. What's your take? Thanks in advance

    • @JKMGolf
      @JKMGolf  3 роки тому

      For me personally I don't feel any one particular part of my body in order to achieve that position and dont really feel much tension anywhere...Honestly the feel is different for everyone depending on their tendencies and swing mechanics. Best advice is to get some solid feedback about your positioning and whatever feeling you have that allows you to get to that position is what is best for YOU.

    Does the Right Knee "stay in place" until you are almost at P6 in the downswing. Thanks

    Keeping my head centered and then shifting my hips forward causes me to hit fat shots.
    Any idea why this would happen. Thanks

    That backwards bend is confusing.
    How do you stop the hips from becoming a sway?
    Sequencing is a problem.

    If you fire your hips too early then I guess the right hip will get in the way of the right arm??

  • @davidboucher9577

    Sorry but one more issue is separation of the lower body from the upper body. I am guessing at the top of your backswing the transition starts with your feet, then hips, then upper torso then arms followed by hands. Could you validate or explain that concept. David Boucher

    • @JKMGolf
      @JKMGolf  2 роки тому

      Generally speaking yes you are correct. However you don’t want to delay your upper body too much from your lower body. You have the right idea of the sequence

    Alot of these moves are just byproducts of the previous move. Simply address the ball...turn away from the target...and turn back. Birdie.

  • @mstram

    You are over complicating the "tilt factor.
    When you setup and bend the spine towards the ball, there's your (spine) "tilt"
    From that point on, if you maintain the spine tilt and just rotate the upper torso, the shoulders and torso will "tilt" in the correct directions (relative to the ball).
