well johnny! knocked me over with a feather seeing you at the top of you tube feed this am! i loved everything about it most partial to the artist drummer for sure! lol! im playing it on my tower speaker so i can feel the beat! made my whole day! thanks!
Thanks Shelli I hope you are well! This is just me having fun and doing what I do. Subscribe to my channel to get updates when I upload more vids. New stuff coming soon.
Thank You Sir! It's tough to tell what is me and what is the actual drumtrack during that part... it all gets mushy because I really didn't mix my drumtrack very loud against the song. I appreciate the compliment! This was recorded/filmed during a very stressful time in my life, and I was undergoing physical therapy, so I was not really in peak physical form. Happy with the mediocre results here though!!! Thanks again! Subscribe if you like as I will be releasing more vids in the future.
splendid! for how long you've been devising music, me since I was born into majority bass. if sounds good both of us can do virtual coaction via web Bandhub definitely is sweet
What kind of drum beat is this… does it have a name. I’m trying to describe one to drummer friend of mine that is kick on the 1, snare on the 2 then a triplet bass drum and snare. Don’t know what to call it. Lol
The song is in 3/4 time. There's a lot of syncopation going on with the snare and kick. It's a bit like a straight shuffle with accents on the upbeat. Main beat is as follows- Kick= x.xx.x..x.x. snare= .*.*.*X*.*.* (with the last ghost note being a rolled double). Hi-hat = _.-._.-._.-.
You may be right haha. Its hard to tell with the headphones cranked. Better to play along with a nice loud stereo, if you want to hear everything... But it tends to bother others within earshot while you practice, so.
Always loved the jazzy ride cymbal groves in the middle of this song. Candlebox were an underated band from the 90's grunge era IMO
I wholeheartedly agree sir!
Fantastic!
The ghost notes are on point.
One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands. Great cover.
I agree! Thanks Adam!
This guy, by far, is the best drummer I've ever played with. Miss you man! \m/
Great job on a difficult song loaded with subtleties and dynamics that escape many drummers. Appreciate the talent!
Thanks Bobby! Just saw this comment. I appreciate the opinion of other musicians. Some songs have those hidden treats that make them special.

Awesome!
Love the hi-hat work, AND the ride bell hits during the bridge. Always wondered what was going on there.
Nice playing!
Cheers!
Thank you!
Amazing cover to an amazing song
Thanks Jon and Sandy!
Awesome, I was wondering how to do that one part with the hats and ride, thanks.
Not even close to perfect, but you get the idea. Ive never seen this band live but I assume this is accurate, or similar at least.
Really good job! Nice work on the part with hi hat and ride alternating.

Thank You. It was a gift. You may be able to find one online? It's a Fender brand hoodie.

Good job but lay off the snare a bit because it was getting to the point where there was too much and it was sounding bad, But otherwise great job!!

100percent right on the drums others are wrong
A few happy accidents, but I was mostly just trying to play along and enjoy myself! Thanks for watching!
