That was Brady’s first game back after his ACL injury
Sean’s call to go onside in the super bowl was the ballsiest call that I have ever seen, considering the circumstances.
If that onside kick would have gone badly with the colts recovering it, then that play would be the dumbest and worst call in history ever. Genius play if it went as planned, dumbest play if it hadn't succeeded.
Darkhalo314 exactly why I say ballsiest cuz there is no coming back from it , if it had back fired. I am still amazed that he did it but he felt the game getting way from him and he had to change the tenor of it.
Watching Nick Saban do the same thing in the college championship a few years ago was hella ballzy too.

Me too I hate that they took that away. College teams still do it to this day. They said it was because of "safety" but the NFL doesn't have enough money to have a couple different styles of helmet ?.... They just cheap
Now its the only retro styles have to be the same helmet (packers, steelers, raiders) its literally the same helmet just without the stickers or different ones

An interesting thing about this year, when the Baltimore ravens beat the Patriots in the wild card, it was the first time the Patriots had lost a playoff game at home in 34 years. Being able to beat the Patriots In Foxborough during the playoffs is a huge source of pride for Ravens fans.
They did it again in the 2012-13 AFC Championship.

2009 was the season I got back into the NFL after being only casually interested for a few years during high school and college. Been obsessed ever since and a huge fantasy player. It’s been a great decade of football.

The bills going 3-0 to start is an illusion. They're not that good, just played shit teams. I see bills fans talking about bring on the pats and im not saying they can't win but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Pats have the best D in the league and a damn good offense. Demoniclily let’s just not talk about the terrible officiating throughout the entire game, with the saints getting a PI call costing the Vikings the win when the defender didn’t even touch the receiver and it was clear as day on video😂😂😂

Yeah man I feel you. This was some of the last years I loved football. After about 2015 I just couldn't stand to watch it anymore. May sound weird but to me it just feels like football has lost its heart, if that makes sense. Just doesn't feel the same.
Edit: so now I just watch hockey. I always been a hockey fan. But now it's just the only sport I will watch regularly. a sport that isn't filled with divas and non stop drama is much more enjoyable.

But I never watch games on sundays or Mondays anymore. I don't stat watch everything anymore for fantasy cause I quit playing that. It's just a league filled with divas and drama. Atleast back then the divas like TO and Ocho were fun, now we stuck with guys like AB

i still have madden 11, not even my team on the cover is the best part, its the music. that game might have shaped 5 year old me's music taste with the actual songs you hear at games like crazy train and welcome to the jungle
@@thiccochet dude, the soundtrack from ‘11 was one of my favorites. I think that was the last one that wasn’t 90% hip hop. I like rap music but it was nice to have a mix of Crazy Train and Welcome to the Jungle. Really felt like football there.

The Saints were formed in 1967. My mom was born in 1968. She literally waited her whole life to watch the Saints hold up the Lombardi Trophy. It was probably one of the greatest moments of her life and I’m glad I got to experience it with her. Who Dat

I remember playing Madden 11, which featured those 2009 moments including the Stokley Week 1. In the Colts Saints moment, you actually had to beat the Saints with two touchdowns, and you needed to onside kick because of the time remaining. 2009 was such a great year.

Watching all the montages of past Superbowls and knowing that after losing the Superbowl Tom got hurt in the opening game of the 08 season I couldn't help but simpatize with the Pats and eventually become a fan of them

As a Vikings fan, that championship still hurts. The Miracle has taken some of the sting out it, but there's still a lot of pain there. And you know what our playoff record against New Orleans is? 3-1. Unfortunately the "1" was the one that really counted.
