- Hello and Welcome to another Video in Coldwaters Version 1.15g, Patch 1.15g. And again using the New Playable subs and more mod, i show off one of the new features of the mod, that is the World Map option in the Games mission Editor. Using a Seawolf Class SSN USS Connecticut, i take on 3 Kilo Class submarines. I am also playing the game with the reduced visibility mod.

Hi, I've sucessfully installed the world map mod, but when I select the wolrd map on the quick mission with the tick on use terrain my screen goes completely on blue. Do you know why could happen this? Thanks a lot
I'm afraid I don't. I'm very out of touch with the Mod and modders. Last I heard they took the mod down.
Hmmm...Comodo saw this as a known virus..not a potential virus. Tried this map mod on another system that uses BitDefender, and alas, BD also saw this as a known virus, not a potential. BD cleaned it immediately, while Comodo asked me if I should clean it or quarantine it. Thirdly, I tried it on a vanilla Windows 81 using oem defenses, and Windows Defender marked it as a potential and quarantined it immediately. So, why are modders writing code that regarded system defenses are going to kill it to begin with....??
I personally had no problems in the regard that you say. Im saying your wrong however. I had no idea that was a thing. I will mention it to the modders however next time I talk to them and see what they say, thanks for bringing it up

unfortunately, this part of the mod has been removed for now due to the constant reports of it being seen as a virus by anti virus software. Hopefully it shall return

@@BaronQuertier - he's mean this is World Map made by russian modmakers from project Cold Waters (Epic mod). I don't know who stole from who, but anyway, that's his opinion.
@@YegorRyzhakov right well thank you very much for clearing that up. Don't know why he's accusing me. I didn't make the mod I just play the game. From what I heard though from the Devs was that the russian mod makers were using a pirated version of the game and didn't get correct permission from the Devs first. I personally don't know. As I said I just want to play the game but if it's true and they used pirate copy then accusing me of stealing is a bit scumbaggy.
@@BaronQuertier - They did not use a pirated version of the game, this is deliberately false information (devs from original game - misled you), but they made the mod self-sufficient, not requiring the original game, as the volume of changes to this mod is so great that it actually rework the whole game in all aspects of the gameplay, which makes it meaningless to install this mod on the original game. This standalone mod does not require the original game, and possible this is violates the user agreement, but the developers of this mod anyway, they make it for a narrow audience hardcore milsim fans and not positioned as a replacement for the original game. It's impossible to blame mod developers for something they didn't do. It's like - how to blame the devs of standalone mod - Enderal: Forgotten Stories that they use a pirated copy of Skyrim. This madness and envy.
I totally agree. Thank you for the fair and honest replies sir, I really do appreciate it. I don't know who is at fault here or if anyone is for that matter. If I'd heard of the epic mod before I would've probably done a video on that too. I do take offense to being accused of stealing however, but I'll let that go. Thank you once again for helping to clear it all up
