    I upgraded my boat batteries to lithium last year and could NOT be more happy!
    I went with Amped Outdoors' 36V 100Ah trolling motor lithium battery system (which is two 36V 50Ah LiFePO4 batteries in parallel). I was able to shave off roughly 140 pounds 😳 by running those 2 lithiums vs 3 lead or AGM batteries, and of course get some amazing run times:
    bit.ly/36V-100Ah-trolling-mot...
    Which also freed up an extra battery slot in my boat, so I was able to plug in this 130Ah beast (only weighs 31 lbs) to exclusively run all of my electronics - fer dayzzzz 🔋 - instead of running them off of my cranking battery:

    Great suggestions. I’ve thrown a Ned fire Bass for years but can’t wait to apply it to walleye.

    I love the tips you give in your videos, like scuffing your hook exit point in the plastic or rubbing chapstick on your slip bobber knot. The little things add up big.

      ? what is the purpose for putting chapstick on a slip bobber knot?

    • @alekart781
      @alekart781 Місяць тому

      @user-bf5cx8bu5v It seems to make it tighten more evenly. It slides more easily without burning the line but adds a little friction at the same time to keep it from slipping. It also waterproofs it a bit to slow its degradation. All to a small degree, but it seems to help.

    Cool..Going to have to stand on the lid of the old Plano box to get it to shut pretty soon. Between you, Nick, and Boley seems like there's always something coming in the mail;) You and Nick should do a live stream from the boat this summer👍

    • @TargetWalleye

      They LOVE to munch it off bottom. And if for some reason they keep on chasing it down, but not committing...then you've got to switch things up!

    How do you fish that in very rocky water. Sorry if I missed it..

    • @TargetWalleye
      @TargetWalleye  Місяць тому +1

      Depends how rocky we are talking. If super gnarly you can lighten up your head and fish it suspended just above the rocks, occasionally letting it fall all the way down to bottom before slowly "swimming" back up off bottom again. But most of the time you'd be surprised how well you can hop it thru rocks without losing too many.
