Idk but isn't Jaskier like, the most attractive bisexual rock goddess in a whimsical pirate shirt ever? I can't wait for the rest of this bisexual romance with fleabag-prince.
What I love about Joey playing Jaskier, is that he’s so real, like the way he acts like the way he’s shocked, the way he’s disgusted, the way he’ll get hurt, the way he’s scared, and can we talk about when he’s confused/lost and doesn’t know what to say or do ? 😂😂 like all the emotions that he express is so REAL, you feel them through him ❤😭I’ll always love Joey as Jaskier ! ALWAYS
I love the Jaskier of the series. Because simply from day 1 he broke out of the mold of what he was meant to be. I say that in quotes. He can be bi/pansexual, and it doesn't matter, you know why? Because he's a character who cares about everyone around him. He's not a brave and heroic man like everyone else, he wants to live and is constantly afraid, but he's there for his friends. He genuinely loves Geralt, I don't believe for a second that everything he's done for him is because he wants to get in his pants, no, I think he loves him as a friend, brother, yes, as a man, but is there anything wrong with loving someone in different ways? And he's always wanted to take care of him because the poor bastard had no one to show him affection in any other way. Until Yen and Ciri came along.
The thing is, he absolutely will follow Geralt, Yennifer and/or Ciri into situations despite being afraid, non-magical and, with regards to fighting prowess at least, less well equipped to deal with the dangers they face. In fact, it genuinely hurts his feelings when he's left behind (something Geralt is finally noticing in S3). When he is mixed up in a dire situation, he does what he can to protect those around him, either pulling them out of harms way or putting himself between them and the enemy. To me, makes him braver and far more heroic than he realises.
You know thats not really an achievement... since literally every character in netflix series breaks out of the mold and becomes something else then their real character. I would be honestly surprised if there was a netflix character that behaves like its character. That would be a true rarity.
