I do know Jaskier to be quite the chatterbox and never knows how to shut up but in the books Geralt never tells him to get out of his life. Sure, he scolds him very often for being to chatty and poking his nose into things he shouldn't, plus get himself and sometimes even Geralt in trouble but Jaskier is Geralt's best and maybe only friend so he does care about him.
@@cathytrottier8944 Yeah, but that scene was still a jumpscare, man. Like, damn, I don't remember Geralt being quite this aggressive, especially to Jaskier. 😭
Jaskier is underrated by most of people. FYI it is Dandelion/Jaskier that narrates the Main Quest of The Witcher 3. Jaskier also help Geralt out of prison at toussaint. For brave and bold as Geralt, a diplomatic and charming guy such Jaskier is his need. We know too much about how weak he is, but to the people there... Jaskier/Dandelion is hypnotizing, that's why they called him Great Master Dandelion 😂👍
his songs convinced me to get into the whole witcher fandom (books games and all) and took this show to a new level of great. The lyrics are quite well written in some cases and Joey Batey sings well.
" Fuck it." Then he hugs Geralt. Despite the fights Jaskier and Geralt have and the horrible things Geralt has said to Jaskier, Jaskier still always stuck around and has helped Geralt. Even though Geralt never has admitted it but Jaskier really is his friend and only friend.
The thing with witchers is that they are told right from the beginning that they have no feelings, no emotions, that they’re not supposed to form attachments to people. And all you keep seeing Geralt do is make more and more friends. And the poor dudes got no idea what to do about it because he’s been told his whole life not to have friends not to make attachments. Because he does not have a heart. I think the fact, our bisexual bard is determined to still be his friend no matter what really confuses Geralt. He thinks he doesn’t deserve to have people around him. He thinks he doesn’t deserve to be loved. So yes, he was absolutely mean on the mountain, but for a dude just getting back into his feels and is feeling very fucked in the head about it. I kinda get it. And to be fair the bard can be a little irritating at times. still love him anyway though.
Dol Blatanna is extraordinarily fertile and is overflowing with crops! The edge of the world doesn’t seem so fruitful in the show though! There is actually a fertility goddess type figure that stays in that area.
Fun fact: Jaskier(Dandelion) wasn’t with Geralt when he met Queen Calanthe for the child surprise moment. He certainly was the blame for the Djinn though haha. The BAUBBLES, WE CAN MAKE SOUUPP
I couldn’t tell if this is sarcasm but in case it isn’t, it’s because they’re the same character. “Jaskier” is just the polish word for Dandelion (it was translated in the games and books English version) and they chose to use that name for him in the show because arguably it sounds better as a name anyway :)
@chaymatm theres also the elvish song in the forest (season 3) and he performs one or two songs in the throne room scene where geralt gets his child surprise (season 1)
Shame they ruined what could have been something perfect We can still canonise it tho, seeing as there are other worlds and it’s not too far fetched for there to have been other conjunctions
I can listen to Jaskier sing all day i love his voice singing!
did you know he has his own band The Amazing Devil? I found it recently and I can't stop
@@stavitzin thank you ❤

Even in the TV series, he cares about jaskier.

a lot of people he loved were leaving him so he drover away the one that stayed, its a classic responce to the situation.

@@varkrowIt made sense to me tbh. Geralt was kind of at peak stress and what was usually normal, if not affiable annoyance, pushed him over the edge.

Toss a coin, that song stays in my head all day. Catchy music.

That part on the mountain, Geralt was mean

....its weird and slightly terrifiling to hear superman angry at a bard....
If they ever remake the witcher they better keep Joey Batey as Jaskier. I will now accept no other.
Another season is coming in 2025 I think
I so love this video it so good and sweet. I so love guy voice and all in the show
00:30 Sapkowski to Netflix Showrunners

Omg I felt gerelt say take you out of it far too hard.
I hate that Netflix ruined what could've been an absolute masterpiece😢
They absolutely did it
They could've been printing money if they just let Cavill and his enthusiasm/passion for the story run wild.
