I enjoyed seeing your travels.. One thing I expect you never experienced is a fear of having no money... I assume privilege of some kind to afford to travel so readily, UA-cam income or not... I've been lucky to experience several countries in Asia through having relationships and hence places to stay with family or friends across Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, etc.... I love Thailand for food, friendly people, and family commitments although I don't have family there..... One day maybe - finances make so much difference...
Your last video someone asked if Patichia would be going with you in the comments and it had the most likes by far on that video…but you didn’t answer that question🤔 MOST LIKES BY FAR!!! Give the people what they want
Thanks Ken for taking me to Thailand through your eyes . I always look for less touristy places and ur videos helped me a lot . . We look forward to ur srilanka trip
dude you are a country where Sri Lanka is not the right country.. You should have stayed in thailand. As an American, thailand is the right place to invest and make profits. Only long terms its a good place to retire.. you should head back to thailand

Thank you for the information on travelling in Thailand. Fully agree that the mountain views in northern Thailand is awesome and I definitely want to visit that part of Thailand when the pandemic is over. As for Bangkok, it is a city that I will never want to be stuck in for more than 3 days, the massive traffic jam is a nightmare. I love living in cities , but not any capital cities, not even KL. Looking forward to your Sri Lanka series..
I just hope Ken's too trusting personality won't fall victim to those Sri Lankan hustlers who trick tourists to go to see "the Tsunami Temple" and basically held them for ransom until the tourists give them the money which they didn't rightfully earn. See Dale Phillip's Sri Lanka post on Facebook. I am worry for Ken.
I began watching your journey as you left Malaysia so around one year ago you present very well your humility is heart warming and your one of my favourite creators along with Dale Philip who incidentally has lots of Sri Lanka content so looking forwards to your next chapter wishing you safe travels Ken!
As always thank you for taking me with you on your trips. I really enjoyed going through Thailand with you as my guide. I am looking forward to traveling through Sri Lanka!!
Ken, you’ve gone up and beyond that on this Channel.. Bringing us all to places that you’ve visited and with people whom have had an impact on your time in Thailand.. with each place that I’ve been blessed to visit, I leave a little bit of it in my heart as I am certain is the same for you .. we will never ever make everyone happy with comments but that for each person to disseminate..safe journeys on the next chapter of your travels 🙏🙏
Hi Ken 👋🏻 we really appreciate your answers to all those questions & messages which I think were really informative , I miss travelling to Thailand and hoping that I could go to some of the places that you recommended , looking forward to your Sri Lanka adventure..new places , new vlogs and keep us posted , stay safe Ken 👍🥰
You are a good citizen, calm and respectful toward the people you meet in your travels. I like your vlog style and look forward to future vids. Enjoy Sri Lanka. Harald Baldr did a good series from there, he was stuck in Hikkaduwa when the pandemic hit.
Ken I suggest you put Philippines into your bucket list. Not only because I'm a Filipino and living in Australia, but because of the English speaking country wise, affordable, love foreigners, so much nature to offer you might change your mind and you mayfound a dream girl there. So many foreigners come to Philippines stay there and live longer-term.
Been following your Thai trip for a year n so used to watch your vlog and always waiting for your next vlog. Also agree that Bkk will be a good place to live in as I also have also plan in settling down here and shuttling between Bkk and Spore. Hope we can cross path 1 day and have a good chat. Looking forward to your new venture in Sri Lanka
The majority of Thais in areas like Phuket, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, Pattaya have encountered so many rude foreigners over the years they are sick of us. These areas also tend to attract the worst of the Thais and the scams. My motto get as far away as possible from foreigners learn to speak the most basic of the Thai language and you will experience a Thailand few will ever experience. I learned this within my first few days in Thailand nearly twenty-two years ago on Koh Samui. I was so shocked by the behavior of both foreigners and Thais there I promised myself to learn the Thai language so I would never have to deal with places like Samui ever again. Not here to promote my own channel as an example of where I travel to but to agree with what you are saying, Ken. You are always polite in your encounters and you have made every effort to learn from your mistakes and learn about the Thai culture. I tend to watch mostly travel channels like yours and or foreigners that have made an effort to learn Thai. In my opinion, most of the channels concerning Thailand or other countries are not only misleading, but the information they offer also is often not correct and the type of foreigners they attract are the very types I try to avoid. It is not Covid I am so concerned about in Thailand it is the foreigners that give all foreigners a very bad reputation. Curious why visas have become more and more difficult for staying in Thailand long term? Look no further than you yourself and the foreigners you hang with.
As a Thai who work d in the hotel business in Phuket for 2 years and worked with foreigners after that for 10 years and even got engaged with 2, I had never encountered bad foreigners. We Thais people have tremendous tolerance to different cultures, personalities, races, sexes etc. And most of all we don’t judge. It is in our nature to be a laid back , easy going and WE TEND TO FORGET EASILY (meaning we don’t hold on to the grudge). That is why we never feel negative about foreigners. Yes, we might be amazed or confused with something but far from judging. And it is also in our upbringing that HOSPITALITY is our DNA. That is why all mentality about “prejudices”, “fear” or “skepticism” are all only on your Western mind. To be honest, we just “chill”.

Dear Mr Ken Abroad. My name is Mohd Fairuz from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. I have heard that you are going to Sri Lanka after you travelling around in Thailand. I have one question to you when you come back to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia again?
thanks for your fun I still don't want it to end. I want to see you continue to live in this country. But we have to find something new. Thank you from Thailand.
gudluck for ur new journey & i believ its time for u to go to other country. Fascinating with ur ‘great’ opinion/experience overall here in thailand…but if u see clearly, most thai only being good with ‘farang’ ..only . well, take care
Well, my friend, it happens a lot, specially in Pattaya, a taxi driver who a few times I asked him to set the meter wanted to charge me 350 baht for a 8 km trip, the shop where I rented scooter wanted to get my deposit claiming that I damaged the scooter, likely i had pictures. It happens, don't be naive, perhaps you havent experienced D situation. On the other hand in general Thai people are honest. Anyway all around the world some ppl will try to screw you up, streetwise will help to avoid it.
Wow a year pass so fast. Feel like few days ago you depart from kl and touch down at bangkok. Enjoy your journey at sri lanka. Nice country to visit. If i got chance , i would like to revisit sri lanka
Ken ,you do yourself an injustice concerning Thai Language ,the words you mentioned in this video i know ,you know a lot more than me , and not just that ,you ask the Thai's directly what this and that means and repeat the correct saying ,it's heart warming mate 👍Plus you are a German speaking English ..Enuf said 😊Fingers crossed you get back to Germany ,just for a hug ,can't do that that on Zoom mate 🙄.For me i will pick and choose what i watch concerning your Travels because i do love Thailand .But stay safe mate 👍Thankyou for sharing your Thai time 👍👍👍

Dear Mr Ken Abroad. My name is Mohd Fairuz from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. I have heard that you are going to Sri Lanka after you travelling around in Thailand. I have one question to you when you come back to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia again?
Planing to return to Malaysia later this year ✌
thanks for your fun I still don't want it to end. I want to see you continue to live in this country. But we have to find something new. Thank you from Thailand.
Looking forward to your travel in Sri Lanka!
I’ve enjoyed all your Thailand vlogs following you on your journey,
Really looking forward to see your Sri Lanka trip 😎
Hey Ken you did not answer . Whats up with Patricha. Is she coming with you or you will sometimes.
ขอให้ โชคดี ครับ
gudluck for ur new journey & i believ its time for u to go to other country. Fascinating with ur ‘great’ opinion/experience overall here in thailand…but if u see clearly, most thai only being good with ‘farang’ ..only . well, take care
Wishing you all the best bro...
Thanks Charles 🙌
Do as you please, Ken. Do not make any decisions listening to people around you.
I will continue support you and following you to Sri Lanka
Thanks Vivian 💪
Well, my friend, it happens a lot, specially in Pattaya, a taxi driver who a few times I asked him to set the meter wanted to charge me 350 baht for a 8 km trip, the shop where I rented scooter wanted to get my deposit claiming that I damaged the scooter, likely i had pictures. It happens, don't be naive, perhaps you havent experienced D situation. On the other hand in general Thai people are honest. Anyway all around the world some ppl will try to screw you up, streetwise will help to avoid it.
Miss u ken from Chiangmai
Wow a year pass so fast. Feel like few days ago you depart from kl and touch down at bangkok. Enjoy your journey at sri lanka. Nice country to visit. If i got chance , i would like to revisit sri lanka
Is Sri Lanka open to tourists? If so, what are the restrictions & quarantine?
