However, FBW has saved the sim scene with their iconic A380. MSFS 2024 was very disappointing! I’m not talking about the release day issues I totally understand it. But let’s be honest. Most of us heavily use it for real work, long hauls, jetliners.. which requires additional add-ons such as simbrief, GSX, traffic and so on.. long story short, I’ve 9-5 job, family to feed, books to read, friends .. does Microsoft think that I’d spend most of my sim time configuring each button in my gears for each aircraft? New 2024 was like a completely formatted sim needs to configure everything from scratch. I’m from KSA. First thing I did a flight from Jeddah to Riyadh to enjoy the new 330. The nights textures was nightmare! Airport lights as well. The few clouds in the horizon were so cartoonish. Also, c’mon! Do I have to walk around the airplane and remive everything? Give me the pilot salary and I definitely would do it. I’m just a dreamer living the flying dream and enjoying the graphics and the whole experience inside my room wearing my pajama. What I’m trying to say. the new 2024 is supposed to be easier with better graphics for the whole planet.
I waited until 07:30pm local Pacific time to get in. Got in at 08:35 and was flying by 09:00pm. I won't complain right now. I am in tech and successful 1st days are still a wish and dream for many projects. So over the next few days, I will not expect the best but will wait it out. Still have 2020 to enjoy so I am good. I took up a Cessna and flew around for an hour, then took their A321 up and landed it. They were night flights too. The things I saw and experienced will surely be addressed. I will give MS time to do it. There are enough people making noise about those issues. Happy flying folks.
I don't have the game yet ( I knew things would go this way, goes with every other huge game nowadays, let alone an online game), but I already subscribe to you, EJ. I don't mind you call out bad things about the game, but I am so goddarn done with all these sheep that either cry about a bad game release for the 20000th time the last few years (when will ppl learn, release day gaming never happens). I am also done with YTers that jump in on the crapfesthypetrains to get those easy likes feeding on sheep anger. That said, you are finally a YTer that keeps it real. Calling out the real bad things while not leaning on emotions. What you said on @10:10 is exactly what will happen, what always happens with these types of releases and what will happen with every othre future game that has a release like this. Thank you very much for this video.
I soooo don't regret that I didn't buy it yet and had to wait till this weekend anyway. Now after seeing all this, I think I'm gonna save my money a little more and keep waiting a bit.
Gav, I will be going back to msfs 2020.....and not coming back, not in near future.... Also what about camera key bindings? Does that also get reset to 2020 version?
Whew….so glad we dont have those 10 min load times like 2020 🙄 Now its 25-35 min every time. And it will CTD on any little thing. Ive just been enjoying 2020 today, 🤣
Is it likely there will be the traditional succession of updates? Since it's almost all on the cloud (rather like MS Office 365) the updating will simply happen at their end and we may be unaware of them, if they are small and frequent.
@@brianking5058 IDK. Maybe you’re right. Either way I hope by next Spring some of the major bugs have been ironed out. Plus it’ll give me ample time to study all the “how-to” videos that emerge.

I am trying 2024, don't you think the graphic looks a bit fake? I feel I am flying the real thing in 2020, everything looks solid. 2024 looks... so plain, somehow reminds me of the mobile phone simulator plastic feeling. Somehow too sharp or cold color tone.
I chose to wait on buying it and I'm watching videos to try to decide if I buy or not and from what I've seen the textures are very bad. Everything looks so extremely vivid and unrealistically perfect. It's awfuk
Great update video.....I've tried for 2 days, but still have the 97%.....will wait it out till next week and keep 2020 going. Great news about the EFB and the charts with it, I love Navigraph but happy to stop the subscription..
I managed to sim 3 different sessions in the first 24 hours. Only one time I had to wait for about an hour to login. Besides some textures taking long to load I had no issues, just pleasant flying.
Great video as always. I finally managed to access the sim at 1:30 AM after more than 10 trials. I must admit I was lost seeing that everything is different. I spawned on the ground next to the Airbus A320 and I had no idea how to get inside the plane. Very frustrating. Especially after so much trouble accessing the sim all day. Fortunately you just explained how to get it and how to get the settings from 2020. Thanks a lot.
the default cache is 16GB and goes to your C: drive. It does cache Aircraft, not sure if they persist once it rolls over. As you use the sim more, and repeated assets like trees, grass textures etc are in the cache it should reduce loading, reduce blurry aircraft panels My Data usage for 2 hours inc flights over NY, London and other areas was 1.3 GB using around 6 aircraft.
I waited 24 hours, watched the complaints, videos, and downloaded it today. Took about 5 to 10 minutes to load up, about 20 minutes to set up my joystick, and I was off in a Cessna at KSFO. The game looks great at high settings on my potato (i5, gtx 6g, 32g ram). Runs as good as 2020. No issues. Love it !

@jmachee funny how even now, 48 hours later, there are still people who haven't been able to download it, and still hundreds who are finding that now they have, it barely functions. Shall I tell them that yours functioned perfectly because you were patient? Gee whiz, I wish I could control what my computer does via my mental attitude 😜
Im sticking with 2020 for now until future as well as current addons are integrated with 2024 version. Too much I have to give up with so much less addons to sim with.
thank you as ever for all your work on these videos always appreciated-my internet speed is only 30-35 at most-i thought i read somewhere that yours was 30-50, do you think it worthwhile getting 2024 with my speeds? thanks.
… your graphics look stunning … be interested to know which settings option you’re using, high end or top end (can’t remember the general options labels having managed to get in once for a brief time over the past 25 hours … not for the want of trying)? And thank you so much for your dedication to our amazing community👏
certain important topics are not covered anywhere: - SDK is there one and does it work ? - community mods (aircrafts) which ones have been tested - Bug: when VFR window is open and on another screen - does it stop the flying when you drag it with the mouse ? - Usability: did they not abolish yet the little white arrow for the top menu when you move the mouse across the screen ? - Bug: ships cluttering small rivers in haphazard ways doing crazy things. - edge of rivers under water - roads following curvature of mountains (instead of being carved into the land). - is the overall UI more usable ? ie: long lists not being sortable - unwanted items not being hideable - etc. ... and on, and on, and on ...
I think I will wait at least 3 months before downloading it. I have had MSFS since 1982 and it wont kill me to carry on using 2020 until I am assured a half decent experience with 2024. For those of you taking a leap of faith and plunging into it now, thanks for being the beta testers, I appreciate your feedback. Enjoy, it looks like it will be a great simulator (eventually) 😏👍Like most airline pilots I use the Fenix Airbus and enjoy full control in comparison to the inhouse 320nx as well as using a real FCU on the flight desk so all that has to be integrated before it gives me more immersive enjoyment than 2020 already offers.
If you used FSUIPC in FS2020 and you had profiles setup you can use them in 2024, FSUIPC works perfectly in the new sim. It may actually be an easier way to go given 2024’s complicated controls menu.
I have hours of "time in game" and have been able to get inside an aircraft exactly once for 4 minutes before my own plane landed through my avatar after they stood up on the runway during the landing and the game crashed, so I'm well envious of this achievement!
lol im not switching from 2020 for another 6 months to a year and the Fenix will be my starting point to even consider the switch. Until then 2020 lives on!!!
Loading onto the game now isn’t the problem, it’s spawning at the gate lol. No matter the plane it’s just so unplayable which is disappointing /// to add the mouse is unbelievably sensitive and no matter the setting it won’t change so can’t even look around the cockpit
This question probably requires a whole video to answer, but now we have the internal EFB and Lido charts, what features does Navigraph still have that aren't in the game that might make it still worth subscribing to? I would guess that most payware EFBs will find a way to integrate these internal ones and navdata into their EFBs so that we have the choice of both and don't have to have 2 EFBs up on display (at least I hope so).
I'm not impressed at all. I called it a few days before the release day that it would be a disappointment. meantime, I will continue happily flying on msfs 2020.
@stonesymmetry wdym? Sr. Did we have a successful release? No! do we see any significant improvements over 2020? No! Don't be confused with facts and emotional drama.
They need add a way to port over controls from previous sim (2020). This isn’t a fps game where key binds are pretty standard. It’s unique to every one taste. The sim has hundreds of different binds
Thanks a lot for showing this. 2 important things: 1) Is it possible to install MSFS 2024 alongside with MSFS 2020 completely indepentant? ...without destroying anything in MSFS 2020? 2) Can you share the community folder in any way? So can MSFS 2024 access the MSFS 2020 community folder or do you have to copy every scenery again into the MSFS 2024 folder, even if compatible to both?
@@Easyjetsimpilot MSFS 2024 requires 1Gbit/sec connection. Even a 100Mbit/sec connection will not save you. MSFS 2020 will run on 5Mbit/sec with 10Mbit/sec or higher being optimal.
Thank you for your Video/analysis, you explain why it took me 23 Hours to get 1 hours of stuttering flying , now not loading now. MSFS2024 a right mess up.
I would be rather disappointed if i had forked out for this, and it didn't work. how can "Microsoft" not have the servers to cope. Were all human, but. it's a hell of an oversight. Thanks for sharing!
I am one of the happy few where the download and start of 2024 went pretty quick :) Indeed the efb is a very handy option, but I have not been able to login in Simbrief via the EFB because it won't let me enter my login data. Is this a problem that should be solved in time or have I missde somethimg ?
I’ve not managed a single flight at all. Been trying all day. Furthest I get is the flight gets stuck on loading. Oh well hopefully it’s sorted by the weekend
Good review Gavin! To be honest, this is a Microsoft product. It will not work good enough for me until at least three months after release. I am not trying to be funny, in my opinion it is just the way it is. I have not pre-purchased 2024 and I will not buy it until I believe it has some basic levels of funtionality. However I am absolutely certain it will work in the future and it sure looks good (when working).
One concern I have is that the Throttle Axis on the TCA Quadrant is very sensitive at the start, meaning that very little movement is advancing the throttle wayyy more and then the last 10% are distributed in the last 2/3rds of the levers movement. I observed this on GA Aircraft and the Airbus A300, Boeing as well. This is way disproportionate and I am wondering how can it be fixed. By the way, in the Controls Tab your Axis Sensitivity settings are located in the bottom right - Hardware Settings Button. But for some reason, the Sim does not show you the movement of the controls on the graph. This is a bug. But maybe there we can actually set the lever to be equally distributing thrust. I don’t know 😢
@@25rodrigomg Guys! I figured it out! On the Axis assignments you click the Gearbox icon, then the button for Tweak Action Curve, then Adjust the sensitivity until satisfied. There are default values that are placed there, which are not well adjusted and configured. But we can tweak them.
I'll let you know what I think when I can actually get into the sim. Still can't go from the map screen to the ground, half my aircraft are still missing. Uninstalled it for now, and will try again in a couple of weeks once its all settled down (hopefully)
Today I finally put in 4 hours of time. It has some bugs, but I’m really enjoying the career mode. The 737 max from asobo is decent, though not simbrief integration as of now. However the in game flight planer is not that bad, actually surprised how usable it is.
Remove the touchdown effects in the effects folder. It solved my touch down stutter completely. I did it in FSX, P3D, FS 2020 as well. Works like a charm. It stutters because it loads touchdown effects when you touch down. No effect, no stutter
I tried to do a flight on world map. It would only set it up as a VFR. I couldn't find the option to change it to IFR like in 2020. Have you found out where to do that on the world map? Or is flight plans only good to do in the EFB now?
Going to stick with 2020 for now, at least until the kinks are ironed out, and PMDG update their aircraft, as I mostly fly the 737 and 777. I have the Premium Deluxe 2020, so my understanding is default aircraft like the 787 will transfer, no matter what version of 2024 I buy, no?
I have two problems that I haven’t been able to crack yet: 1) None of my Saitek panels come alive, although I can start them with Spad Next. 2) No engine sound in either cockpit or external view. I’ve double checked all my sound settings and can’t find anything wrong so any tips would be appreciated!
what i going to do is to wait, then pay for the pc gamepass to test if its worth the buy, if not, at least i'll have acess to some other stuff to make the month payment a little more worth it. once the sim is actually working i'll get it
They really should’ve given PC users the ability to just load all the content, like the previous version. Solid-state drives are so cheap, there’s no reason for not loading it all. This is what happens when a very complex flight simulator also caters to Xbox users.
I think the current is better, but. I wish there was a way to pick and choose what I want to cache. Aswell as a manual cache like in msfs2020 I cached most of the east coast with no problems.
Exactly, there are a lot of people globally with unreliable, slower internet or only have access to fixed wireless or satellite. There should be an option to download specific areas.
Couldn't agree more, Josh! This over-reliance on (at best) flaky internet and server access is hat's being touted as the way forward, but in reality is so unpredictable that you're in the lap of the gods?! I've been in IT over 50 years and this is definitely NOT the way forward!
Perhaps the graphics look better "in person", but from what I've been able to watch on streams so far, to me MSFS2024 looks game-y. Maybe it's the colors, the clouds (which I feel are less photorealistic than in 2020), the UI, or the GTA5 camera transitions. I'm not impressed, even ignoring all the MS server issues and the stutters and missing features. I mean the new aircraft seem awesome but that's not the sim. I'm sure it has more potential for GA, but for now I don't see much benefit from the new platform for commercial flights, or even in general. 2020 is relatively very stable, I can only imagine that with all that streaming shenanigans it's only gonna crash more often.
Question - since the servers are so overloaded with new MSFS2024 users, are these the same servers being used by MSFS2020 users for streamed content that is not in the Community folder ? So are MSFS2020 users going to experience delays and issues because of so many new MSFS2024 users seeking access ? Just asking. Lee
Tried 2024 today and found that the drop down menu omitted several things including the map and ai. Also, many aircraft available in 2020 are not in 2024. Is this temporary?
Thanks for the video. At the moment it looks like I'm flying in a minecraft scape. One thing I can't figure out if how to remove the tablet - I get its useful etc but I would like to remove it once I'm set up and flying but it remains stuck to the window (C172) - is there a way to hide it?
How do you set pax in the EFB ? I try to set it manually changing the number (0 to something) but it changes back to 0, like it's not saving the value I change. Did you do anything particular in the EFB for this to work ? Did you test with airliner ?
@marty2756 I did it prior to being in the sim. When you select the aircraft, you can go in the cingid menu and open the efb. Never tried it on a liner only in GA.
Me and my friends were one of the first to play the game and it loaded fairly quick but most of the planes were missing so we decided to restart then disaster struck
Small cities and small towns still look like absolute dog💩 on the ground, if not even WORSE than they did in 2020… Most big buildings still look like random gray warehouses, unless you’re in a really big city. I don’t get why the satellite imagery only works well with extremely populated areas.
So you'll need to set up your keybinding so you can move forward, backward etc in the cockpit camera. Open up the cockpit door, walk out, find a view, then you'll need to save it - again, this is called save custom view 1-9 in the controller settings.
"Revisit it in a few days time." Um, no. I will be revisiting in January. I don't say you are wrong but I've torn out enough hair making war on buggy programs. I'll wait.
So..... you are making a video about a flight simulator and you don't even mention the flight model.... Have I missed something. Are you just interested about a landscape/walkaround simulator? Is MSFS24 a flight simulator or is it still the same arcadish video game only? Thank you

As per usual an excellent and factual update on the much awaited 2024 version. Thank you!
Gav, I will be going back to msfs 2020.....and not coming back, not in near future....
Also what about camera key bindings? Does that also get reset to 2020 version?
Whew….so glad we dont have those 10 min load times like 2020 🙄
Now its 25-35 min every time. And it will CTD on any little thing. Ive just been enjoying 2020 today, 🤣
Great vid. Being able to take controls on replays is such a great feature. Can’t wait to try it out once the servers have chilled out a bit.
Thank you! I’ll likely stick to plan just like I did with 2020 and buy after 6-8 months when we are up to SU 5 or more.
Is it likely there will be the traditional succession of updates? Since it's almost all on the cloud (rather like MS Office 365) the updating will simply happen at their end and we may be unaware of them, if they are small and frequent.

IDK. Maybe you’re right. Either way I hope by next Spring some of the major bugs have been ironed out. Plus it’ll give me ample time to study all the “how-to” videos that emerge.
It took MSFS 2020 almost a year before it settled into it’s own. I think it would safe to assume 2024 will take about the same amount of time.
it's the flightsim way right!!?
Regarding the controls: There is an option to "Clear" a profile. This option is only available if you duplicated the default profile.
To see the passengers in my 737, go-to Communication with ATC, select the ground comms, new dialogue to start loading passengers, baggages, catering. Load passengers.
If that works, it's a GREAT tip to end a common frustration! Not logical, the path to do it? But if it works ...... 🙂
It's awfuk
I'm happily doing a Malta-Berlin flight in MSFS2020 right now. Says it all.
Thanks for another useful and honest review. I’ll wait till new year before moving from 2020👍
Great update video.....I've tried for 2 days, but still have the 97%.....will wait it out till next week and keep 2020 going. Great news about the EFB and the charts with it, I love Navigraph but happy to stop the subscription..
We hear the same thing when msfs20 released. I believe msfs2024 will improve soon
Msfs2020 is still a mess for me, so that doesn’t give me confidence lol
Click on the door from outside
the default cache is 16GB and goes to your C: drive.
It does cache Aircraft, not sure if they persist once it rolls over.
As you use the sim more, and repeated assets like trees, grass textures etc are in the cache it should reduce loading, reduce blurry aircraft panels
My Data usage for 2 hours inc flights over NY, London and other areas was 1.3 GB using around 6 aircraft.
There was a reason why they called it Alpha when they let some folks fly it a few weeks ago. We are getting the BETA now.
No issues. Love it !
Are you aware that you're the exception, not the rule?
Same for me. Did not even try the first day. Installed second day. Installed and setup in about 30 mins through Gamepass. Had 0 issues
@@barthvapour Yep. Patient folks with measured approaches and expectations of less-than-perfection are definitely the exception to the rule of "OMG IT MUST BE 100.0000% PERFECT AT MINUTE ZERO!!11one. Refunding! Garbage! Trash!" people.
And here come the fanbois lol
@jmachee funny how even now, 48 hours later, there are still people who haven't been able to download it, and still hundreds who are finding that now they have, it barely functions. Shall I tell them that yours functioned perfectly because you were patient? Gee whiz, I wish I could control what my computer does via my mental attitude 😜
Im sticking with 2020 for now until future as well as current addons are integrated with 2024 version. Too much I have to give up with so much less addons to sim with.
thank you as ever for all your work on these videos always appreciated-my internet speed is only 30-35 at most-i thought i read somewhere that yours was 30-50, do you think it worthwhile getting 2024 with my speeds? thanks.
I'm glad I waited. I will defiantly wait another few months for all the addons to be working and bugs patched before I buy it.
… your graphics look stunning … be interested to know which settings option you’re using, high end or top end (can’t remember the general options labels having managed to get in once for a brief time over the past 25 hours … not for the want of trying)? And thank you so much for your dedication to our amazing community👏
certain important topics are not covered anywhere:
- SDK is there one and does it work ?
- community mods (aircrafts) which ones have been tested
- Bug: when VFR window is open and on another screen - does it stop the flying when you drag it with the mouse ?
- Usability: did they not abolish yet the little white arrow for the top menu when you move the mouse across the screen ?
- Bug: ships cluttering small rivers in haphazard ways doing crazy things.
- edge of rivers under water
- roads following curvature of mountains (instead of being carved into the land).
- is the overall UI more usable ? ie: long lists not being sortable - unwanted items not being hideable - etc.
... and on, and on, and on ...
I still love msfs2020 so I will hold off for a few more years. Thank you for the video.
Don't wait. 2024 is great. One day later.
There are existing variable names that have changed!
Those clouds look terrible again - hope they settle down
Yes, they seem to have trouble with the cloud lately 😉
I called it a few days before the release day that it would be a disappointment. meantime, I will continue happily flying on msfs 2020.
the graphics are gonna be much different when the servers settle down from all tha havoc
Wdym, it’s incredible!
Game is fantastic, it’s the the servers in the cloud that can’t keep up.
2 important things:
1) Is it possible to install MSFS 2024 alongside with MSFS 2020 completely indepentant? ...without destroying anything in MSFS 2020?
2) Can you share the community folder in any way? So can MSFS 2024 access the MSFS 2020 community folder or do you have to copy every scenery again into the MSFS 2024 folder, even if compatible to both?
How do you transfer 3rd party add ons like Zinnertec airport Graphics for example
And where do you find the Content manager in the new menu format?
Spent 6 hours trying to get in last night, hopefully will be better tonight!
You can board the passenger from the atc menu. Call on ground service
I gave up at trying to set up my Thrustmaster Hotas X. Best flight i did was me dragging my plane upside down on the ground XD
🤣
Fs2024 is garbage. Hotas doesn't even work unless you pay 70 to buy it.
to get passengers go to the atc panel, request ground services, then request boarding
Will try this. I turned ATC off 🤣
@@Easyjetsimpilot MSFS 2024 requires 1Gbit/sec connection.
What sens are you using on the joystick? Default is crazy right now
I'm still on default at the moment.
I am one of the happy few where the download and start of 2024 went pretty quick :)
Indeed the efb is a very handy option, but I have not been able to login in Simbrief via the EFB because it won't let me enter my login data.
The EFB with integrated charts and map is the most attractive to me. Does the World Map route integrate with Simbrief?
Thank you. Waiting
I've only seen passengers in career mode, you can start boarding after powering up the aircraft
I don’t know 😢
Thank you for reporting this. I thought it was a problem with my system.
@@25rodrigomg Guys! I figured it out! On the Axis assignments you click the Gearbox icon, then the button for Tweak Action Curve, then Adjust the sensitivity until satisfied. There are default values that are placed there, which are not well adjusted and configured. But we can tweak them.
@@30DegreesBank Thank you for sharing your findings hahah I'll give it a shot later today
Did you add passengers in the planner or efb?
I'll let you know what I think when I can actually get into the sim.
Still can't go from the map screen to the ground, half my aircraft are still missing.
Uninstalled it for now, and will try again in a couple of weeks once its all settled down (hopefully)
"Love it or hate it" - it's going well!
Today I finally put in 4 hours of time. It has some bugs, but I’m really enjoying the career mode. The 737 max from asobo is decent, though not simbrief integration as of now. However the in game flight planer is not that bad, actually surprised how usable it is.
I’m going thru Career mode how long does it take to get to flying the bigger planes like 737 max?
@@demariusparamore2673 a lot, because you need money, and it takes time to get enough to pay for the certification. I tried it on free flight mode.
Which version did you go for in the end?
There is still the freeze on touchdown!!!! I can’t believe it !!! That’s crazy !!
Remove the touchdown effects in the effects folder. It solved my touch down stutter completely.
I did it in FSX, P3D, FS 2020 as well. Works like a charm. It stutters because it loads touchdown effects when you touch down. No effect, no stutter
what do we expect? it’s still using the same engine as MSFS2020
that is ur CPU causing it; mines smooth as fk.
@nikita11111111 I have just puts the “OFF” in front of. Should I removed them from the folder completely ? Thanks for the answer mate
@ I think you can but I removed completely because I am paranoid lol.
Pre-ordered even though I expected this to happen.
I tried to do a flight on world map. It would only set it up as a VFR. I couldn't find the option to change it to IFR like in 2020. Have you found out where to do that on the world map? Or is flight plans only good to do in the EFB now?
better graphics yea... but does it need more power from the graphic card? or is the graphic managed by your bandwith ?!
What is the performance like? All cores being used by CPU as promised?
Going to stick with 2020 for now, at least until the kinks are ironed out, and PMDG update their aircraft, as I mostly fly the 737 and 777. I have the Premium Deluxe 2020, so my understanding is default aircraft like the 787 will transfer, no matter what version of 2024 I buy, no?
I'll wait for my bae 146 professional before i'll try this one, looking forward for the twin otter
I have two problems that I haven’t been able to crack yet:
1) None of my Saitek panels come alive, although I can start them with Spad Next.
2) No engine sound in either cockpit or external view. I’ve double checked all my sound settings and can’t find anything wrong so any tips would be appreciated!
what i going to do is to wait, then pay for the pc gamepass to test if its worth the buy, if not, at least i'll have acess to some other stuff to make the month payment a little more worth it. once the sim is actually working i'll get it
I am interested about vr experience.
Thx for review. Walk through and check airplane is amazing feature
Aswell as a manual cache like in msfs2020
I cached most of the east coast with no problems.
Fully agree, should be optional, it was better to all, for us and to them to manage servers and streaming much more easily.
@ from what I’m seeing, this new simulator performs way better on Xbox than PC. If that’s the case overall, we know what the focus is now.
When you have time a more detailed video on the controller set up / assignments would be welcomed please.
Certainly!
We also have to consider that your internet must also be stable and fast enough
When it comes to the passengers, I'm guessing you'll get them during the career mode??? Would make sense to be honest.
Lee
Afraid I don't know the answer to this.
@@Easyjetsimpilot Ok that's cool. We'll see what happens. Lee
Tried 2024 today and found that the drop down menu omitted several things including the map and ai. Also, many aircraft available in 2020 are not in 2024. Is this temporary?
My first thought was "why don't you just give me an option to download it as much as I need?"
Thanks for the video. At the moment it looks like I'm flying in a minecraft scape. One thing I can't figure out if how to remove the tablet - I get its useful etc but I would like to remove it once I'm set up and flying but it remains stuck to the window (C172) - is there a way to hide it?
I managed to have pax using the efb in the cargo configure page when selecting a plane. This was in a GA airplane and I had 4 pax.
@DDoom33 yes, I tried the same but it keeps going to 0 afterwards.
Do you press any other button after changing the passenger value?
Me and my friends were one of the first to play the game and it loaded fairly quick but most of the planes were missing so we decided to restart then disaster struck
It looks very good with rtx 3060. I wonder if you can compare how it was on previous MSFS 2020 using 3060. Was it better or worse?
Small cities and small towns still look like absolute dog💩 on the ground, if not even WORSE than they did in 2020… Most big buildings still look like random gray warehouses, unless you’re in a really big city. I don’t get why the satellite imagery only works well with extremely populated areas.
Are you getting those ugly clown color AI traffic like me. I feel robbed.
"what's good, bad and FAQed." fixed that for you.
I have it downloaded it yet as I'm waiting for this debacle to get over with. Is 64 GB of RAM enough or do I need to go to 96GB?
How did you put the camera on the wing? on mfs2020 I could but on mfs2024 I can't
So you'll need to set up your keybinding so you can move forward, backward etc in the cockpit camera. Open up the cockpit door, walk out, find a view, then you'll need to save it - again, this is called save custom view 1-9 in the controller settings.
As someone with only FTTC broadband, enforced streaming is most likely a dealbreaker.
Thank you
Performance has been great for me. I have fibre and no issue. Got in the queue last night and kept my session open all night and plan to do so even if I'm not playing. :-)
