I appreciate you showing the Skyship 600 and not trashing it right away. It's the one aircraft that sold me on this game. You were right about the pressure gauge in front of you, and to the left of that is your 4 air valves to balance it out. Your engines can also rotate up and down vtol style. With no tutorial and a confusing checklist, it's frustrating to operate, but after spending some hours figuring it out, it's joy to fly. Hope to see you return to it again one day. Also, the default keybinds for it are not intuitive at all, and sadly, this will most likely put off many who want to just jump in and go. Happy flying!
Glad you covered dumping the load during engine out during fire/cropdusting ops. Otherwise you drop like a piano and you have nearly zero altitude/time. Yeah,’i know it’s a sim. But if you want realism…having to dump the load is, for sure, keeping it real.
You can get rid of the unrealistic random static ground aircraft at airports by going into the graphics options and setting ‘Traffic Airport Quality’ to off.
Thank you for showcasing every aircraft! I'm currently waiting for the game to get situated, so finally being able to see all the aircraft in action is a thing I've been wanting to see. Thank you.
Fantastic video mate, looking forward to the other parts! Do you think you could also do a similar video, but for the handcrafted airports? That would be fabulous.
Hoping msobo allows rw pilots to download locally everything they need. Most of us only fly in one atc "center" anyways. For example, everything is done just like rw in trip from burbank to vegas etc. less than 1 hour flights. Being internet/cloud dependant sucks. I still use xp in local mode (cd)just for this reason.
The rapid stuttering you encountered in the 737 max looks very much like something I've encountered several times in FS 2020. In that sim, at least, I've been able to fix it without restarting the sim by simply deleting the rolling cache. Don't know if that applies here but it's worth a shot. Splendid video, up to your usual standards.

My trim was going to 100 up, even when putting the engines pointing down i still found it hard to gain atltiude I presume it might be 4 compartments with helium in, and maybe it's back 'light' i.e all the helium is in the 'back' pulling the back side up

24:18 that screen better never pop up 12 hrs into a 14 hr flight or I might just give up entirely on MS/Asobos ability to deliver a working realistic simulator. They still haven't fixed issues in 2020 that have been present since launch.
I cant wait for this sim to run good because with the new aircraft available from devs like miltech, carenado, inibuilds, blackbird etc... all included in the sim price i already paid, i might not even consider buying 3rd party content ever again unless it is a really rare plane like a trijet or a really really really detailed plane.
Lighter than Air Ship, those are lighter than air instruments, the idea is to be balanced and zero when cruising. Temperature and ballast controls this, same as hot air balloons Dusk, dawn and night are best. Thermals and winds cause issues. Storms are off limits.
I only have real experience with airplanes in real life but as far as i know the cyclic on helicopters doesn't have much resistance compared to a regular airplane's controls.
23:32 I really think they made a huge mistake with forcing everything to be streamed instead of having some content offline like in 2020. That one is annoying and can happen even with great internet connection. Blurry textures even in planes like that are really annoying. Even scenery can often look like blurred mess. Great video as always, thank you for the effort
Agreed. I was perfectly happy to wait for 2020 to install and load. People need to be more patient with install/loading times or else we get a situation like this mess.
There is a reason even microprocessors have levels of caching - keep the data close and immediately accessible, then push out so less close but still pretty fast, … finally at high-level pushing off chip to SSD, … and last to cloud.
