Hi Mark and thank you mate, I am much better now. I've had the, getting 50 grade A, koi fry from Japan in my mind for years, and the minute I started getting parts for the tank, I fell ill. I have taken this as a warning, because if anything did happen to me, my wife would be left with it all to sort out, so it has put me off a bit, I have to say. Thanks again mate, take care, Terry.
Hi Jan & Phil, thanks so much, really appreciated, but I do feel on the mend👍👍now. So hoping to enjoy the rest of the season. Thanks again and take care you 2, Terry.
Thanks Gaz, very much appreciated mate. I am feeling much better I must admit. I'm back in next week to have a camera up where a camera should not be put😜😜I hope it's not a box brownie🤣🤣🤣take care and stay safe mate, Terry

Hi Terry nice to see you up and about again if they give you any more tablets we'll be calling you the rattler ha ha. Hope you have a full recovery really good video hope all the treatments work out for you. Looking forward to the outcome. Stay well mate.
Hi good afternoon , it's been very long and I do hope our good Lord bless you with the best of health and happiness . You're awesome as always 💯🙏 Sincerely your little brother from Long Island NY Sky-Lee.
Really sorry to hear you’ve been through the mill with your health, hope you are feeling better now🤞. You have been missed. I might try forgetting my card next time Clare makes me go shopping 🤣👍. Best wishes mate😊
Hi Phil, and thanks for your kind comments mate. I think most of us have times like this now and again. There's no fun in getting old mate, so enjoy while you can. I found you can't trust these ladies when shopping for garden equipment, she bought the cheapest one there 🤣🤣🤣I wanted a ride on🤣🤣take care and stay safe mate, Terry
Hi Terry ,speedy recovery mate and glad to see you back ,no doubt you'll soon get pond back on track ,just take things steady and slow ,all the best mate.

I hope it's not a Box Brownie 😂😂😂 Years ago, we hardly ever got parasites or infections on our koi. It really was a relaxing hobby then. Our biggest problem was algae. Good to see you Terry, sorry to hear you've been unwell and hope the NHS sort you and the pills out. Keep the videos coming, the pond, Koi and garden are looking grand, puts our garden to shame, we've not been well enough to keep it under control lately. Look after the both of yous 😉 Best wishes👍
Hi mate, and thank you, really appreciated. I'm certainly getting my moneys worth out of the NHS 😂😂no wonder they've got no money🤣🤣To be honest mate, the wife is doing more than me in the garden at the moment, but I'm getting there👍👍sorry to hear you're having problems as well. take care and stay safe you 2, Terry
Hi Terry So sorry to hear about your health issues, I know all about it I have had my fair share of problems; I am very glad to see you are very much better and look forward to more of your great content. Take care David (from Leeds)
Wrighty took me some time with the wisteria you need to prune twice it flowers on new growth. Prune at the end of the year and again in January worked for me 👍hope the fish are ok and your keeping well stay safe.
Thanks for the info on the wisteria mate, very much appreciated. Unfortunately I lost the poorly koi tonight, but thanks for asking. Thanks again and stay safe mate, Terry.
Hi Terry. Sorry to hear you've been under the weather. Hope you're felling better soon. So glad you were able to get the new drum filter installed and up and running without too much problem. Fingers crossed the rest of the season stays parasite and problem free. 👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Ken, thanks mate, very much appreciated. The new drum went in much easier than I expected, I must admit. I'm with you and my fingers and toes are crossed 🤞🤞. thanks again and take care mate, Terry.
Hi Terry health and family first everything else second. Speedy recovery! Wisteria, I have a large one 15 or so years old flowered once two years ago with two flowers, it’s getting it this year major pruning if that doesn’t work it will be hasta la vista baby
Hi Steve, and thanks mate, very much appreciated. I found out, with the wisteria, if you cut the new shoots off at 5 buds long now and then in the winter (Jan Feb) cut them back again to 2 to 3 buds, that's where you'll get the flowers. That's what I was told anyway mate. It's the new shoots that produce the flowers. Hope this helps 👍👍take care, Terry.
Nice to see a new video Wrighty, pity about the growing tank, but it looks like you've got enough on your plate already mate. Had 3 lovely hospital experiences in the last couple of months myself mate oh the joy eh 😵💫 and yet I'm still beating you on the pills, only on 7 a day at the moment, not counting 2 shots of insulin a day too lol the pleasures of getting old and I only turned 61 yesterday. Garden and pond looks lovely pal, pity about psycho, fingers crossed for him. More videos soon I hope. Stay well Tel, until next time. 👍
Hello mate, there's no fun in getting old mate, that's the first thing you learn when you get as old as me 🤣🤣Sorry to hear you've not been well. I hope your sorted soon. The nurses are nice but totally unorganized. They starved me (nil by mouth) for 3 and a half days and kept me on a fluid drip because of the X-ray I was having, once I'd had my X-ray they told me I could have the evening meal, trouble was the food trolley came and went and forgot all about me, so they brought me a disgusting bowl of powered soup I couldn't eat. What NHS? I did lose Psycho last night mate, bless him. Found him on the bottom of the pond unfortunately. Thanks mate and you get well and take care, Terry.
Hi Terry nice to see you back and hope you have overcome the health issues. The older we get the more that seems to hit us! 🙄. Please take it easy and look after yourself. I see the slippers still rock and with shorts 😉
Hi Graham, and thank you, very much appreciated. That's right mate, there's no fun in getting old, that's true. I do try to keep the legs hidden, but I'm still in the all terrain slippers 🤣🤣thanks again mate and take care, Terry.
I'm sorry to hear you've had some health issues mate, but I hope you feel better soon. Hearing you talk about not being there any more is heartbreaking, I really hope you get your mojo back and get around to building your dream grow-on pond. You got me into koi ponds and I still haven't been able to build my own. I will do one day though, and use all the tips I've learnt from you to do so. Happy ponding mate.
Hi Ian, and thank you for your kind comments. I'm not going yet mate, it was just a thought that went through my mind, I didn't want to leave the wife a load of work and trouble sorting it all out. I must admit, I do feel a lot better now I'm back doing things. Thanks again mate, take care and stay safe, Terry
Hi Neil, thanks mate, it's very much appreciated. I hope all's well with you at your end. Must admit I am feeling much better. take care and stay safe mate, Terry
Nice video Terry hope your feeling better, the wife buying a Lawnmower and who said Romance is dead 😂😂 shame about not getting the grow on tank area set up
Hello mate, and thank you. I am feeling much better thanks mate. I found out the wife did get me, she bought the cheapest mower there. I thought I'd taught her better than that🤣🤣 the grow on tank is a bit of a bummer I must admit, but hey that's life. Thanks again mate and take care, Terry.
Hi Terry, so very sorry to hear you haven't been well, and you've had to scrap your grow on plans, but your health is more important. I'm glad your son was able to save the day too. Good to see a video from you with an update, I think we have all been worried about you. I was getting to the point of texting Steve to see if he knew if you were OK!
Hi Rick, thank you, I really appreciate your concern mate. I am on the mend slowly, but getting there. It's a good thing I already had the new RDF or I'm not sure what I would have done. It's been my life ambition to grow on 50 fry from Japan, but maybe later👍👍. take care and stay safe mate, Terry.
From what you were saying, I'm guessing the same problem as me...ticker trouble. Wishing you a speedy recovery buddy. As for the parasites, it had to happen at some point...but thank heavens you got it and the filter sorted and had help. Keep us updated on the fish...hopefully the meds will do their thing successfully. The garden is still looking lovely. Best wishes from Bromley, Kent
Hi Steve, I have had a couple of heart attacks, but this was my pancreas playing up for some reason. The pain nearly knocked me out, it was quite nasty. The trouble at the moment is, all the tablets are making me dizzy most of the time. I've just been out to feed the koi, and unfortunately I found Physico (the poorly koi) on the bottom of the pond, he has passed away. Thanks again, take care and stay safe mate, Terry
@@Wrighty I know what it's like with the dizziness and don't bend down jow, incase I pass out again lol. Hope you make a good recovery buddy. So sorry you lost that fish. Lost all mine years back after a back accident...one of them stood me in £6.500, another £3.500 and so much work and care went into them. You've got some amazing fish and I hope you get those Japanese high grade fry in...who knows what little beauties you could get from them...could be a real special one. Best wishes Terry, keep up the awesome videos, you're an inspiration to many
Thanks Steve, I did actually weigh the koi when I got him out, and he weighed just over 22 lb. I thought he was going to break my net. Thanks again mate, regards Terry.
Hi mate, and thank you. Unfortunately, I lost the sick koi last night. I found him on the bottom of the pond, bless him. I am feeling better thank you mate. I hope all's well with you. Take care, Terry.
Hope you keep getting better mate . O no so so sorry to hear that . I know what it's like and how attached koi keepers can get to there fish. It's not all roses koi keeping but that's the way it goes unfortunately. Look after yourself
Glad ur on the mend Terry, looks like everything has happened at once for you, ain’t it always the way. Hope u get on top of the parasites too pal 👍🏼👌🏼
Hello mate, I am feeling much better thank you. That's right, it never rains unless it pours🤣🤣I'm still treating the parasites, so fingers crossed 🤞🤞on that one. Thanks again, take care and stay safe mate, Terry.
HI Terry... It realy has been all go for you there... I know how you feel about the amount of tablets u take ,, hell I'm on 27 different meds 4 time a day and yes I do rattle a bit.... good to see the fish and garden are doing well Caz is doing plenty in our garden and the fish in our ponds are eating us out of house & home at the moment..... Have fun mate
Hello mate, I hope you 2 are well. As you can see from the video, I've been a bit up and down, but I think I'm on the mend now🤞🤞and I'm feeling much better. Why is it always the case, the moment you go away, something happens😂😂 anyway mate you 2 take care and have a great weekend, Terry.
Hi Martin, it waited till I was in hospital to start leaking. But I must admit, I've not touched it mechanically for 4 years, so I suppose it was about due. Yes mate, I do remember you with the same trouble. This new RDF is only on 120 micron woven mesh, but I've found if I slow the flow down a little, and have it cleaning about once an hour, it filters just a well. I will get mine fixed as soon as I get myself sorted mate. Thanks again, take care and stay safe mate, Terry.
Yes mate, but it does say on the bottle if your using both only half dose the Malachite Green, I did a full dose of both, about 1 hour apart and it all went fine mate. Mind you, I not telling you to do the same. take care and stay safe mate, Terry.
Hi John, thank you mate. Do you mean the longer trays I had 4 around the outside. They eventually got thrown out mate. Must admit they did take up a lot of room. My Lilly baskets I also took out when I had the Phosphates problem. Thanks again, take care and stay safe mate, Terry.
Nice to see you Terry sorry to hear you've not been well hope your on the mend you have been missed, hope you've zapped the pesky parasites keep well 👍👍🚀🚀
Hi mate, and thank you for your kind comments. I am feeling better, I must admit. 🤞🤞fingers crossed on the parasites mate, take care and stay safe, Terry.
Hi Dave, and thanks mate. I am feeling much better thank you. I have been thinking of cutting the fence down a bit, and I usually take it off during the day, but the fish are a bit lively at the moment, so I'm leaving it on. Take care, Terry.
Hi Dave, just to let you know mate, the creaking bit of the tree has fallen in the neighbours garden (thank god it didn't land on any body) and they've now got to take the rest down before it kills somebody. Take care mate, Terry
Yes, I have seen Rasta Koi doing it mate. But to be honest, I do prefer the drill method, it breaks down all the small gritty bits like a blender. Thanks for the tip though mate, take care, Terry.
Hi Chris, No mate. I got a lot from the Crowland koi place. can't remember the name. Their closed now, probably why🤣😉take care and stay safe mate, Terry.
Hi Dan, I can still do you the plans for the RDF mate, I can let you have them for £10.00 now I don't have a website to pay for. You can contact me on pondfilters@gmail.com if your interested mate.
Speedy recovery Terry. I've just got my workshop ceiling to finish so that should free me some time for a visit. Love the Queni drum. All the best to you and Fiona.
Hi Steve, Not too bad now mate, I'm on the mend🤞🤞I see you've been very busy, and I hope your both well and we'll speak soon mate, thanks again and take care, Terry.
Wisteria prune back in Feb to 3 to 5 buds so a really hard prune then feed but not over feed you should get flowers in May then it will put on new wispy growth remove that and you may get a second flush in August
Hello Vince, and thanks mate. Must admit, I'm feeling much better now thanks. You'd think the people at the back who's garden it's in would do something about it. Thanks again, take care and stay safe mate, Terry.

Hey Terry, good to see you back. Sorry to hear you have not been well and glad you are well on the mend. Wisteria looking great, what are you feeding it ??? You, Fluke, RDF and most shockingly the Missus having to buy a lawn mower !!! What ever next ??? Looks like its all sorted now. Have a good week Terry, love to the good lady. 👍
Hello Stef, and thank you mate, much appreciated. I am feeling much better now thanks. I haven't given the wisteria anything up to now, just stuck it in and hoped for the best😂😂I have been looking onto it and it's all in the pruning apparently. I'll find out next spring🤣🤣you take care and stay safe mate, Terry.

Nice update video Terry 👍 Pond and garden looking good. Those damn parasites though 🙄 Good job with the Drum 👍 Did you look at the EZ Ponds for your Grow-On? Hope you're feeling better soon.
Hello mate, and thank you. A lot of the garden is down to the wife. I think we've all had parasite problems this year mate. The new drum went in well which was the first bit of luck for a while. No mate, I didn't look at the EZ Ponds. I was looking to small sleeper it. Thank goodness they let me cancel my order. I am feeling much better now thanks, take care and stay safe mate, Terry.
Look into nutrition. Most folks will think I'm crazy, but please just spend some time looking at Dr. Baker, Dr Berry, Dr. Zoë Harcombe, Dr Chaffee. If you do try this approach, once you start to get better, be sure to pass it on to the next bloke.

Hi Mark, and thank you, really appreciated. I hope all's well with you mate. thanks again and take care, Terry.
Good to see you Terry, sorry to hear you've been unwell and hope the NHS sort you and the pills out. Keep the videos coming, the pond, Koi and garden are looking grand, puts our garden to shame, we've not been well enough to keep it under control lately. Look after the both of yous 😉
Best wishes👍
Hi mate, and thank you, really appreciated. I'm certainly getting my moneys worth out of the NHS 😂😂no wonder they've got no money🤣🤣To be honest mate, the wife is doing more than me in the garden at the moment, but I'm getting there👍👍sorry to hear you're having problems as well. take care and stay safe you 2, Terry
Hi Terry
So sorry to hear about your health issues, I know all about it I have had my fair share of problems; I am very glad to see you are very much better and look forward to more of your great content.
Take care
David (from Leeds)
Hi David, and thank you, very much appreciated mate. Think I'm on the mend now 🤞🤞I hope all's well with you mate, thanks again and take care, Terry.
Quick recovery mate pond water looks great
Hi Terence, (great name by the way) thank you, very much appreciated, take care and stay safe mate, Terry
Nice to see your on the mend
Am much better now Stuart thank you. I hope all's well with you, take care and stay safe mate, Terry
Great to see you back as a fellow south Lincs koi keeper. Hope you’re on the mend 🙏
Thanks mate, very much appreciated. I am feeling much better. I hope all's well with you, take care and stay safe mate, Terry
@@Wrighty Sorry about the soup mate 😁 and poor Psycho 😢 Tek care pal.
Stay well and stay strong ❤
thanks Kevin, much appreciated mate, Terry.
Keep well Terry.Nice to have you back
Thank you, really appreciated, take care and stay safe, Terry.
Great to hear from you again, Terry..... get well soon mate 👍👍
Hi Ray and thanks mate. Feelin much better now thank you. thanks again and take care mate, Terry.
Honestly I was sorting a filter problem today and thought 'not seen a Wrighty video for ages' Glad you're on the mend
Thanks for supporting the channel mate, always appreciated. I am much better now thank you. Thanks again and stay safe mate, Terry.
So sorry to hear you e not been well, I hope you make a speedy recovery. Rest up my friend and sit back and enjoy the relaxation. 😊
Hi Neil, thanks mate, it's very much appreciated. I hope all's well with you at your end. Must admit I am feeling much better. take care and stay safe mate, Terry
@@Wrighty great to hear. We’re ok thanks. 🙏
Hope your health improves bud . Your set up is fantastic.
Also hope your fish are all ok especially the sicker one
Hi mate, and thank you. Unfortunately, I lost the sick koi last night. I found him on the bottom of the pond, bless him. I am feeling better thank you mate. I hope all's well with you. Take care, Terry.
Hope you keep getting better mate . O no so so sorry to hear that . I know what it's like and how attached koi keepers can get to there fish. It's not all roses koi keeping but that's the way it goes unfortunately. Look after yourself
Glad you are on the mend. Look after yourself.
Thank you mate, very much appreciated, take care, Terry
Hi Terry, seals eh ?? Same as i went through a couple months back remember? Shame you couldn't reinstate it. Mine still running great.
@@Wrighty All the best get well soon.
Wasn't sure if you add Formalin and Malachite at the same time
Yes mate, but it does say on the bottle if your using both only half dose the Malachite Green, I did a full dose of both, about 1 hour apart and it all went fine mate. Mind you, I not telling you to do the same. take care and stay safe mate, Terry.
@@Wrighty thanks, I understand I wasn't sure
Sorry to hear about your illness. Quick question where are your pond baskets?
Speedy recovery Terry, if You have any other issues and Chris needs a hand , tell him to give me a shout , only live 1/4 mile from him ,Divatt
Thank you mate, and thank you for your kind offer, I will keep it in mind. You take care and stay safe, Terry.
Sorry you haven't been well Terry get well soon mate best wishes 👍 lol Terry need do something that fance drive me up the wall 😅
Hi Dave, and thanks mate. I am feeling much better thank you. I have been thinking of cutting the fence down a bit, and I usually take it off during the day, but the fish are a bit lively at the moment, so I'm leaving it on. Take care, Terry.
@@Wrighty no mate didn't mean pond fence mean fence rubbing on the tree 🤣
😁🤣There both annoying😂😂
Hi Dave, just to let you know mate, the creaking bit of the tree has fallen in the neighbours garden (thank god it didn't land on any body) and they've now got to take the rest down before it kills somebody. Take care mate, Terry
@@Wrighty that's good news mate take care look forward your nx video 👍
Tights for lernex works a treat no mess . Just put the powder in the tights and work it through the tights while soaking it in the pond 👍
Yes, I have seen Rasta Koi doing it mate. But to be honest, I do prefer the drill method, it breaks down all the small gritty bits like a blender. Thanks for the tip though mate, take care, Terry.
Did you get some of your older koi from Mitchkoi?
Hi Chris, No mate. I got a lot from the Crowland koi place. can't remember the name. Their closed now, probably why🤣😉take care and stay safe mate, Terry.
hi wrighty do you still not do plans for building the rdf
Hi Dan, I can still do you the plans for the RDF mate, I can let you have them for £10.00 now I don't have a website to pay for. You can contact me on pondfilters@gmail.com if your interested mate.
@@Wrighty I emailed you
Keep well, us poachers have to look after ourselves.
Thanks mate, much appreciated. Take care, Terry.
Oh dear so sorry to hear you’ve not been 💯 but very glad you’re now on the mend.
Your pond and garden always look stunning Terry. Stay safe 🫶🏻
Thank you, it's always appreciated. I am a lot better now thank you. Take care, Terry.
Thank you for the information on the wisteria Alan, very much appreciated👍👍. I will give it a go mate, thanks again, take care, Terry.
Sorry to hear you've been ill Terry bruva but awesome to see you back and that noise would drive me nuts also 💯🧁👍👍👍
Hello Vince, and thanks mate. Must admit, I'm feeling much better now thanks. You'd think the people at the back who's garden it's in would do something about it. Thanks again, take care and stay safe mate, Terry.
Evening Mr Wright sorry to hear you've not been well hope you feel better soon, glad to see your well enough to post videos again, your the inspiration to many, your one of the fist channels I started to watch. Take Care 👍👏🙏
Hello Craig, I'm much better now, thank you mate. I have got to go next week and have a camera shuved up where a camera should not go 🤣🤣
so not looking forward to that one 😢😢I hope all's well your end mate, thanks again and take care, Terry.
Sorry to hear you've been unwell Terry. I wish I lived closer. If I did I'd be more than willing to come and give you a hand. Don't go over doing it. Your health is more important than anything.
Hello Jim, and a big thank you for your kind offer mate. It's really appreciated. We did manage to get it all sorted good enough for now thanks mate.
Thanks again, you take care and stay safe mate, Terry.
Nice update video Terry 👍
Pond and garden looking good.
Those damn parasites though 🙄
Good job with the Drum 👍
Did you look at the EZ Ponds for your Grow-On?
