I have the exact motor doin the exact same to me just put a new carb kit in and I can’t figure out how to get it to idle without shutting off I’m missing something I’m stumped

I have one of the screw should be from 2 to 2 1/4 out and they do run a little rough yours sounds really good to me
What's the video you watched to figure this out?I have Merc 6HP that I'm trying to get carb adjusted correctly.

I tried the carb kit. Didn't work...had to buy a new carb, cost me over $400...
idle screw, mixture screw, check sparkplug spark -> still not working rebuild carb, check fuelpump membrane and check compreression
Should be 2 1/4 turns out on the air fuel screw
Service manual says 2 turns then find the highest revs =)
That fuel filter looks backwards
