Love this channel. I'm a poor college student who's only enjoyment is coming home from classes just to make dinner in my one bedroom apartment just to blast some blues and mimic these recipes to some variation. One year from graduating and originally I wanted to have my graduation present to be to go to New Orleans and indulge myself there, but now I kind of want to do it in New London and eat at Daddy Jack's and meet my internet mentor himself. Keep doing what you are doing, because you are the best class I have taken during college by far. Just go easy on my final...

Love it. I'm a retired Exec Chef from years ago and worked mostly hotels and high end country clubs and of course my share of mom and pop and even a chain or two as a kid. I've been watching your videos for a few days now and getting a kick out of them. Makes me a little sad you have to turn the comments off on some of them, sometimes I think it's better to weather the storm and let your base stick up for you. I can see why you're popular, you're an earnest man and have a good set of skills.

It’s crazy that Daddy Jack is such a Kent Rollins fan as they are my two favorite UA-cam chefs. Jack is an amazing human being. I wish he’d do a biography (autobiography I guess) of himself and his career. He’s worked all around the country it seems. It would be very entertaining to hear about all of the places he’s cooked. I always tell him I am the President of the Montana chapter of the Daddy Jacks Fan Club. There’s no big secret why this guy is so successful online. He is so relatable and humble. I need to go eat at his restaurant when it opens back up...

I finally got some Popeyes Chicken to give this a try tonight... AMAZING!!! The gravy was good right off the bat but once you add the chicken and let it mellow in the sauce, it’s mind blowing! I was disappointed that I didn’t have rice, as I agree, it’d be perfect but I did have a couple of biscuits left that I split and poured the gravy over. I’ll be dreaming of this dish tonight...zzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

At the end of the day or game we all got to play with our friends no matter what team they were on and the best part was being happy with a full belly after the game with your friends and families. Daddy Jack I love many a thing about you. You show everyone love. No discrimination nothing but food and real love for cooking. You give everyone a shout out and give your workers the chance to grow while watching/observing/tasting your meals. No man/woman is left behind. Great rich stories (should really write a book) while cooking is a superb pass time. You represent your area very well. My number one thing though outside of your down to earth personality is YOU DON'T WASTE NOTHING! I grew up here in the South and as the saying goes from the rooter to the tooter. We also don't waste as growing families simply couldn't afford to. Scraps go to broths/stocks. You freeze bits so you use it later. One thing in the South we love to do is hookup leftovers or simply recreate a meal from them. Daddy Jack your teachers, parents and family must of been proud! Thank You for being such a soul/Chef that I personally feel I can't go a day without. KUDOS

Geez Lavar, Thank You, Those are some awful kind words! I am thrifty in my kitchen and at home. I feel wasting food is a sin. I hate when I see customers waste food and don't take a doggie bag even. I strive to make those that showed me the way proud and I hope I have achieved that. I am blessed by this UA-cam opportunity and am enjoying the ride, it's amazing. I am meeting so many new friends and thrive on the interactions. I like that " Rooter To The Tooter". It is right on point. The Best and Blessings To You, Jack

Put Lakeesha on the camera Jack! I’ll bet she’s a looker. I’ve been to Popeyes in my local town several times since the sandwich hype started and I’ve always been able to order as many as I want. Spicy is best though. Definitely beats Chik fil a. Hard to believe they’re so cheap too even when you buy them ala carte.
