    This channel is very relaxing. No stupid thumbnails, clickbait titles etc., just a man with a lot of life experience talking about nothing, and cooking delicious food. RIP Jack

      Really it is. I found this channel and this amazing chef like idk 6 weeks ago. Spent at least a dozen hours watching this man cook. Learned so much here, starting with mixing olive oil and butter in the pan, but no end of lessons in sight ;) Seen pictures of him on google and i know this man was a special person. Thank you so much Daddy Jack and thanks to your family for keeping this amazing, heart warming blues cooking content up! Love from germany!

    Anthony Bourdain once described the efficiency of movement of a master sushi chef, how there was no wasted movement. Notice Daddy Jack's efficiency of movement, nothing wasted, total care, anticipation and massive amounts of experience.

    Cooked this one tonight. I struggled through the pesto, but otherwise it turned out amazingly delicious. The fresh mozz is key. RIP Daddy Jack.

    RIP Daddy Jack. You are no doubtably missed by many. I still binge watch all your videos. You remind me so much of my uncle Vic Beck. It's uncanny how much the 2 of you looked alike and even sounded the same.

    Everytime I use his apron, it brings some comfort that I got to see many of his videos. His passing still effects me too. RIP Daddy Jack and thank you for showing us your unique style of cook'in.😊

    Another great dish Jack! Gonna try it tonight thank you! My similar version instead of pesto not my family favorite is using cold cuts like hot soppreseta, ham and salami topped w/ tomatoes and cheese! looking forward to the next vid. Happy Easter!

    I'm truly blessed to have found your channel years ago. I always said if I made it up North I was going to come see you. I would pay a lot to have a fry pan of yours.     I got my start at Mr Steak in Massachusetts thirty years ago. Jack just keep doing what your doing! Great videos. Don’t pay any attention to the negative reviews. If those people new where there food came from, they would never eat again!

    What i would say to "Daddy Jack" is that, we appreciate you and why? Because you are a REAL chef. Not some Bobby Flay or other celebrity chef, you are the real deal and so smile because you know flavours and how to get things done without all of the magician tricks and it is for that, that you are seen as, GENUINE.

    Daddy Jack, this looks amazing. How have I never heard of this dish? Beautiful fried chicken cutlet, fresh pesto and mozz with those tomatoes? That golden brown cheese. That looked, so good. I've watched most of your videos, this one really does it for me. I need to eat this

    May I ask, why not using canola oil for the pesto?

      There are very few differences. Canola oil is a vegetable oil. In this recipe, it makes no discernible difference. Just a preference I would think.

    I've had Caprese Salad a hundred times and never thought of anything like this. This dish had to be delicious. Do you keep a book of recipes and have you thought of producing a cook book?

    Daddy Jack, why don't you grind your pepper freshly into the food instead of mixing it with salt? I know this saves a little time but wouldn't the pepper be more tasty if it was freshly ground? Same goes for the salt I suppose. Thanks for responding and awesome video! :)
