Daddy Jack's cooking is outstanding...he is always engaging to his audience...his shows have the ability to put you right in his kitchen...I have learned so much from all these great videos....Jack is the King of cooking....Super fan,Todd and family...
I remember I used to watch these videos all the time probably around 8 to 10 years ago I always wanted to go and get food at this restaurant. RIP Jack. You seem to be such an amazing soul and this world really gained a lot from having you here, thank you very much for the recipes and stories.
Jack, you have restored my faith in what real kitchen work is! It’s as much about loving the ingredients as well as entertaining your clients! I have been sharing you with the folks that I know who love to cook, great stuff sir!
Damn chef, I love watching your videos, your cooking style, stories, attention to dates and peoples names really shows how much you care about your people!! Rip Jack
Giovanna, I’m only 72 but my husband and I share a love of a good Manhattan too! Every night at 6:30 CST we have a Manhattan and watch Wheel of Fortune. Keeps our mind sharp and our spirit happy! Hope we make it to 97 and beyond! Thanks Daddy for the delicious recipe. We always eat dinner after Wheel of Fortune and I’m happy to say that many of them recently have been inspired by you...life is good!
Im watching from small country Slovakia. All your videos are pleasure to watch. This is how a good restaurant should look like. I would love to visit you. Once, I think, I will ;)
From Schenectady. Have many memories at Canalis. Friends with Hank, peter and the family for years. Have lived in Florida for 25 years now and I have never found an Italian restaurant as good as Canalis.
Awesome video Jack, I know it's always more than just great food with you! The love and the respect of friends long gone, and families members that survived them, is so touching to our generation, thanks again for the memories my friend !
I love how he took time in the beginning to observe and enjoy the water chasing around the pan when he tossed some in to cool it off... Really is like the Bob Ross of cooking, lol!
I’m so sorry this wonderful guy is gone. I loved his food and watching his videos. I wanted to take a trip to his restaurant but I never made it. RIP Jack.
This looks great. There's a restaurant here in central NJ called Ria Mar that serves a very similar dish, and your version looks just like it. I'll have to take a shot at it.
Schenectady, "The City That Lights And Hauls The World" ... I still live there, and we have some of the greatest Italian restaurants and bakeries! Thanks for giving the place of my nativity a plug! Canali's Restaurant is a definite destination! I do love New London as well! Love you, Daddy Jack!
Hey Jack...another great video, I know now why your so loved and have such a huge following besides the cooking you got great character, personality.. love your stories, the part bout the hot pan with the rolling water”I like that water when it chase , l love that .. I don’t know why”. Had me 😂 cracking up bro.... keep em coming👍
@@CookingWithTheBlues well so far your prediction hasn't come to fruition thankfully! by the way I love your videos, but I realized that you put a lot of butter in many of your recipes. I'm lactose intolerant, is there any alternative? I'm thinking of just making it without the butter it'll still be good I'm sure.
I barely got on jacks videos like 3 months ago, I cook a lot but not by profession and I love this man. Not anyone can become a great artist but a great artist can come from anywhere. ❤
I just discovered this channel and I’m hooked! I have to wonder though if you’ve ever caught that towel on fire😳 Love your videos and down to earth energy and love for people. RIP Giovanna. What a lovely tribute to a lovely lady. Cheers from Canada’s east coast New Brunswick. I’d love to see you cook some 🦞😋
Just made this tonight after watching the recipe. I was encouraged too because I thought it looked a bit boring. My goodness was I wrong. Sometimes simplicity packs a major punch, Jack. The only thing I did different was pounded the breasts a bit thicker but other than that it was the same. Thanks for this one. Out of this world. You deserve more recognition than you’ll ever be able to get!

I don't know what country your family is from or what part of a country but the style of cooking you do reminds me of Sicilian cooking.. which is very simple... fresh ingredients and well prepared . And a vast knowledge of how certain ingredients work together and complement each other always the best tasting dishes good job
I can smell that chicken from here . How can people not cook from scratch, it's the best and cheaper than anything out , doing your own cooking saves you two thirds what it cost to eat out. Try making this dish he made, simple and delicious.
Hello Jack. I love the steaming water balls too (they look like mercury), a bit of a fun distraction when the kitchen is hot and heaving! I enjoy your stuff Jack because it is real. May I request more 70's/80's italian/american mains please, I am learning a lot. Thank you from James (a chef in southern australia).
And the weather in southern australia at the moment? It is well dark and the time is 10.40pm, the temp is 39degCelcius. Today australia broke its overall temperature record, averaging over 41 degreesCelcius. Many horrendous fires, injuries, deaths and mass loss of housing, and we still have over 3 months of heat. And we know that the USA also suffers from terrible fires. Thank you, American friends for sending firefighters to help us, they will arrive tomorrow. So Jack and team, keep the videos coming, they are a fantastic "cheer me up", thankyou and respect.

Why are people giving thumbs down for? He’s a good cook and everything looks great. Plus easy to follow instructions.
Haters gotta hate...
*was. If you actually followed and knew.
He puts garlic or onion in every dish. That’s weak.

I learned with a small pan and a little bit of water and then a little bit harder than that and then you can do it both hands. Practice makes perfect.
