I live right on the Coast in Dublin. There is a secluded beach around 10 minutes walk from my place and has a complete endless supply of mussels. Pick them once every two weeks and make a garlic, butter, chilli and white wine sauce. Heaven on earth
I have always said Jack is the best! I know he is.. I learn something almost every video. Peeling the end pieces to save waste is awesome. A trick with clams : the night before you cook them put them in an icewater bath and add 1/2 cup of corn meal to the top of the container , next morning just rinse them off , they will have used the cornmeal to clean themselves of any grit.
I don't like that way Wayne, then the belly's are loaded w/ cornmeal.These didn't have any sand, perfect. Plus a little grit never hurts, Jack. I'm in Ft.Lauderdale, came in yesterday. May go to Joe's Stone Crab, any other good restaurant suggestions Irving? Had a fantastic meal, surf and turf at a place close to here Mini Pita. One of the best meals, Lamb Chops and Blackened Shrimp Skewers. Going to their new place in Pompano, Belly Daners and all! Blessings, Jack
A chef's home kitchen right here. Flat top stove (induction maybe?) for easy cleaning and even a hood. Even the recipe feels like a great staff meal; every ingredient that you need to use up is going to be amazing in that fresh clam juice!
