I had the pleasure years ago of working a benefit dinner that Kevin hosted. Not only was he funny, he was considerate, generous, self-effacing, and an absolute pro in all respects. Watching this episode was like reliving that night. Why did it take me 7 years to find it?
I'm the 792nd view! I'm the 792nd view! But seriously, I've been checking in here for several years. Great guests. And an even better interviewer. Good job, Kevin Pollak!
Do you realize, Mr. Nealon, how blessed your life has been? Oh, I’m sure there are times you would prefer to forget, but you have been blessed. Life has been a series of experiences. If I could I would wish it so for everyone.
Kevin Nealon should have Kevin Pollak on his walking show. Maybe k. Pollak could do a Christopher Walken routine for the 25 minutes of the walk. 💎 Maybe k. Pollak gave him the original idea. 'Kevin Walken walken with Kevin' (am I over thinking this) 🤔
Nealon's Tonight Show set is on dailymotion: www.dailymotion.com/video/xe56th_kevin-nealon-on-carson-show-back-in_fun Beginning is screwy (VHS copy), but the rest is good.
Chat Show might be an acquired/intrinsic/atavistic taste, but he gets meaningful info from many of his guests. I recently watched Kevin Nealon on an 'alternative venue/platform/confab', and it was not so much in depth/primordial/atavistic as herein. The Nealon was somewhat amusing elsewhere, but not to this extent. So kudos to CS, again. And, yes, it was too brief.
Might I suggest alternating with a side-by-side view of the single cameras when there is a quick exchange, saw it work on Illeana Douglas' excellent KPCS rip-off.
Maybe it's just me, but for close to 35 years now, I've always had a weird compulsion to reach through my screen to rip the piece off of Nealon's head.
Who's the production assist? Great news about Johnny Carson. Why, because he was told by Dolly Parton a few times. She needed to shake the hands of the real composers of her hit. Either to the American record labels are gonna shower you with money. Or.... My dad was lazy/very active music producer VinnyCatalano. Does he keep copies? At least no diary you ask? I have it my mom was Lolita of NYC Greenwich village. She met dad married 1955. Done. What a book it'd be. Historical society the underworld mom was no harlot married right? Strange twist interaction a bit of a saga. I lost though.
That was a mistake in direction, but what I always notice is that he invokes SF instead of Bay Area first. When most people are from the Bay Area (including SF) that is usually what they say anyway. He wants so bad to be remembered as a SF comedian...
Mr Pollack great show private question. K. Nealon will tell you about it, how two hit songs of the Friends tv show era. Was really by same creator of many many things including friends. Creator personna names are for inside Hollywood. For sure. Show outlines are bought cheap. Big executive demands. They get credit forget the writer. In my case. The promoter may have received some slander talk as I see it.
well ,, here goes nothin ,,, its an allegory kevin ,,, 40 years in the desert is supposed to represent the desolation of the spiritual journey each individual has to endure ,,, but enough jolly jokes lets get back and find out from kevin what Arnold palmer was really like
Don't know how Pollack ever got a talk show with his personality, constant use of profanity, rudeness, utter inability to talk comfortably with people. Very disappointed to find he is such a creep after seeing him in some movies. Hope he does not encourage my bud, Kevin Nealon to use the F-bombs Pollack is so fond of. Nealon is a nice guy (I'm a big fan of his Hiking with Kevin show) and too nice to be around Pollack.

Nealon is one of the top 5 funniest comedians of all-time. I judge them on a laugh-out-loud-by-minute meter, he destroys the competition. Always.
Love Kevin Nealon! Thanks so much!
Love Kevin's videos about hiking with celebrities!
I miss this show! I thought Kevin might start back up during the pandemic, but alas. I still have a few of these to catch up on.
55:35 Kevin's Johnny is spot on!

Kevin's one of the good ones...
"what has brown done for you lately" TOPICAL!! HAHA!!

chill
19:37
...
I think Kevin would do a much better job interviewing himself.
Kevin, perhaps because he is with another Kevin, has the best chemistry with a guest I've seen on this show yet, my face hurts from gigglin
The pitch for Hogans Heroes was just serializing Stalag 17

39:50, did he just say "offensive linebacker"?
Excellent run of guests/shows, just a pity this one ended right as it was getting in its stride.

King of impressions!! You're my favorite... PS- if likes and videos and comments are the outdated. Please help me fight feminism

"before I go." (crickets) Yeesh.
You guys forgot to do the Larry King thing!
12:06 "When I started, North of San Francisco, in the San Jose area..." Huh Kev? SJ North of SF?

C’mon, Pollak, let the man talk! Nealon has a lot of patience/Xanax.

wow ,this is awkward . pollack keeps talking over nealon . so uncomfortable
Yea he tends to defer more to a guest depending on how famous they are.
Columbia was a commonly used poetic word for America, a reference to its so-called "discoverer", you dodos.
Look up Britannia, you dodos.
Wtf no Larry King??

The guests on this show are great! It would be just perfect if it didn't have Kevin Pollak and everyone else in the studio.
+TrainInVain Great idea. No doubt inspired by all the times everyone left when you walked in the room.
michael david I suppose that made sense in your head
How did you know about my mom?
So boring the banter in the beginning! Listeners don’t care about any of this!
Pollack is a terrible interviewer

Shut up bitch. Fuck!
God this was boring.
