I remember watching "Married with Children" years ago, and I never thought that Ed O'Neill was interesting. He is the most interesting actor of all time.
Remember when they had their own It's A Wonderful Life Christmas episode? Sam Kinison played the angel. When Al found out his family did better without him being born he said to the angel,"You've got to send me back. They don't deserve any of this!". Roflol
I adore Ed O'Neill. To see him in this way is so foreign to me. I've never seen such a deep interview with him out of character. He's a fantastic storyteller.
I think Ed O'Neill's success in a nutshell is at 25:56: No David Mamet knows more than him about acting. You have to have self-confidence in life. If you don't believe in yourself no one else will.
It's now 2022 almost 2023 & I still really miss this podcast, especially the video format episodes. Just listened to the Fly on the Wall Ed O'Neil episode and needed to rewatch this again as it's one of the best. Also, Kevin, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED finding your call into O&A and your thoughts on Sam Roberts, his mom & dad, all that. So great! Idk if your position on that individual has changed in the last 100 years, but great nonetheless. I'm commenting on fucking UA-cam about minutia of over a decade ago to a show that doesn't exist and to an individual who for sure doesn't give a Turkey . . . . My priorities are solid! Ps. Kevin, ya gotta get on that Tonight Show.
Spare Tire: “That trophy was mine, Bundy. After that game, I went into a deep depression. And what did I turn to? Pie! Al: Sure, I had a bit of glory, yeah. But you had pie and I haven’t eaten in 20 years!” 😂😂😂😂😂
KPCS is best. No small talk, promotion or video clips. Real 'fly-on-the-wall' stuff that expands on my own Hollywood experiences. This series is cool beyond belief.
My earlier requests may have gotten through to Kevin, as there has been talk of a celebration for the hundred years since the birth of Mario Lanza and Enrico Caruso’s death in the same year. Mario Lanza’s mother actually had most to do with motivating Mario to know that she felt in her heart that Caruso’s Spirit had transferred to her son Mario. I believe that with the end of each world war, these two men helped to re-establishes music around the world as a common and compassionate thread of love that humanity needed. As did the Beatles in the 1960’s and 1970’s. So as always woman and Mario Lanza’s mum in particular, connected and created two times in the history of humanity when millions were dying, and brought some of the best of humanities singing and music together for a whole world to hear. Good on you Mario Lanza’s mum. As always your greatest fan in Australia Kevin. Mark Wegner Brisbane Australia.
What an entertainingly normal conversation Just smashing work boys. Needed to find this today A camera & talking & an ability to breathe…..just great Thx to all involved. New sub What an entertaining way to just be human….never saw Ed in convo, I guess. This was pleasant
I’m very pleased these are still on Utube… extremely funny and genuinely entertaining. Great ! Kevin and gang are excellent. ❤, Pt, Chicago….. AKA…. The Wasp…. Lol….
This story about I wanna be around was amazing. I looked it up and one of the artists who recorded it was Frank Sinatra. So Sinatra records a song he inspired because of the anger a woman had against him. Amazing.
I have written this a few times but I'm hoping it gets through to Kevin Pollak. Kevin is, in facial features, the spitting image of the world famous tenor singer Enrico Caruso. Caruso died in 1920 and next year will be the 100 th anniversary. Mario Lanza, another world famous tenor made a movie in the 1950's called the Great Caruso. If Kevin were to get support for a remake, I think that with his world class voice and acting skills, he could become part of this great man's legacy and give Kevin his greatest 2 hours to add to his already great achievements. Your number one Australian fan, Mark Wegner Brisbane Australia.
Still hoping that Kevin may read my earlier email comment about his remarkable likeness to the world's most famous 20 th century singer Enrico Caruso. Mario Lanza did his version of Caruso's life story in the Great Caruso and I was hoping he could muster some support to do a remake for the 100 th anniversary of his death. Coincidence also being that Mario Lanza was born on the day Caruso died. Again as always your biggest Australian fan. Mark Wegner Brisbane Australian
A follow up from me again. It's April 2020 and the virus is continuing. Kevin's good friend Tom Hanks is just south of me down at the Gold coast south of Brisbane Australia. Tom had to stay in a hospital down here for a short stay of treatment, so I've sent off a submission and good wishes to them. Again with a hope that Kevin could look at a 100th anniversary remake of the great Caruso.
@@sclogse1I hadn't thought of that. Anything that works may make this a good movie start to the new millennium. They reckon the 20th year of any century starts off stories that link through to the end of that century. My hope is that it is all about art and caring for each other and not wars. The Italians always provide good world characters so we'll see if a movie could bring some new talent to the world.
Kevin your a perfect guy for this. Your the common dream of acting like ed oneil. Not to be so big you cant enjoy life without a mob, but successful in that most people probably has seen something your in and may not even know. You definitely are a great actor, not typed cast, or without a style. By that i mean i have seen impressions of you that were great.
I've been watching a bunch of videos with O'Neil. (He tells great stories) The guy cannot remember a name, ever. I bet he's said, "What's the name of the guy who was God's son and once rose from the dead?" Jesus? "Yeah, Jesus. That's right."
Saw Kevin on a roast recently was pretty damn good, he did impressions. After all these years I never knew he was a comedian just thought he was an actor.
I'll watch any Ed O'Neill interview. he's so naturally normal.
How can this only have 176K views?
After 12 years?
I am worried about our society.
I'm just finding this now: February 6, 2024.
maybe cause of podcast is getting more viewS?@@Hobbes1025
I could listen to Ed Oneal tell stories all day long.
your comment is four years old but i hope you get this reply: me too, man.
Totally agree here. Him and Peter O’Toole have a great delivery and telling stories.
Could not agree more, they don’t make men like Ed O’Neill anymore. And they definitely don’t have them in Hollywood.
Or you could just watch every gangster movie ever made 😀
I remember watching "Married with Children" years ago, and I never thought that Ed O'Neill was interesting. He is the most interesting actor of all time.
I met Ed O'Neill in 1996 and I was so star struck, I did my impression of Al Bundy to him. He shook his head and I immediately regretted my decision.😅
I'm glad I lived a life with "Married with Children" in it. Love that show!
Agreed, and you know who I appreciate watching the whole thing about the fifth time around in 2018? Faustino.
Remember when they had their own It's A Wonderful Life Christmas episode? Sam Kinison played the angel. When Al found out his family did better without him being born he said to the angel,"You've got to send me back. They don't deserve any of this!". Roflol

I come back to this interview often. So relaxing and funny.
Who woulda thought Ed is such a great story teller
Any Ed O’Neil interview is fascinating
Ed O'Neill makes Dutch watchable again and again. Great interview
Ed is a great storyteller.
I love this guy Ed O'Neill I really enjoy his stories. He is so funny and real about everything.
I adore Ed O'Neill. To see him in this way is so foreign to me. I've never seen such a deep interview with him out of character.
He's a fantastic storyteller.
I actually listen to this every day for bedtime 😊 love Ed
Guest arrives at 19:01.
+Eliot McCann Thank you. Immediately looked for a post like this. Saved me 19:01.
Thanks. Like the interviews, but Kevin really does piss about for ages before the guest we want to see makes an appearance.
I think Ed O'Neill's success in a nutshell is at 25:56: No David Mamet knows more than him about acting. You have to have self-confidence in life. If you don't believe in yourself no one else will.
my god some of these stories I haven’t laughed that hard ever in my life Ed’s impressions are hilarious
I've always liked Ed O'Neill...After watching this interview?...Love'em!
Ed is such a down to earth normal guy, just like I would hope that he would be. Very refreshing.
Sorry to say Ed is not that nice. I met him a few times. If u ask around people will tell u the same
@@bryanordonez362 What specifics do you have from your interactions with him?
I'd like to have a beer or six with him.

what happened they just stop ?
The intro for Ed was everything! 😂 I just found this show and it's a subscribe for me. ❤
Most actors are so filtered… Ed seems genuine and candid in his interviews.
Love the stories, what a great sense of humor as well.

You'll hear from my lawyer! Response: Is that the law offices of Haagen & Daz!??
4 touchdowns in 1 game
"Touchdown Bundy they used to call me"
Hehe.. Good times, man!! :)
Polk high champion Peg!
And 4 2pt conversions!
I had no idea I would get so many great insider comedian stories from this guy! Absolutely fantastic.
I Love Ed O'neill, I wisk I could hangout with him and listen to all his stories
Well this was one of the funniest interviews I've seen so far. Ed O'Neill I still think you're more talented than most people know.
KPCS is best. No small talk, promotion or video clips. Real 'fly-on-the-wall' stuff that expands on my own Hollywood experiences. This series is cool beyond belief.
I’m looking at the interview list and I’m loving the ppl you have on, thank you.
O'Neill is a phenomenal storyteller
best interview ever, it felt like just being in the room listening to them having a conversation
Oh man the Robin Williams joke in Germany was gold.
Sadly, it is BS, didnt happen like that. It is a good joke/anectode tho. ;)
An actor from Married With Children (great sitcom) being interviewed by an actor from The Usual Suspects (great movie). 👍
I’d be the happiest man on earth if I was having drinks with Ed.
4 Touchdowns in one game will always be the best backstory
Dear God, 19 minutes until the guest.
This was awesome. Really. This is a duo I would tune into. "I'll watch it."
I wish they talk more about Married With Children. :(

Damn' I'm a little late to the show... This was amazing, thank you for posting!
That was fun! You've got a new subscriber Mr. Pollack!
I've only seen about 6 so far, but this is the best. Great stuff.
Great interview, I love the just two guys talking aspect.
I’m very pleased these are still on Utube… extremely funny and genuinely entertaining. Great ! Kevin and gang are excellent. ❤, Pt, Chicago….. AKA…. The Wasp…. Lol….
Ed O'Neill's best performance. Singing "Booty Time" and dancing. Lol Kevin used the baker story with another interview.
Wonderful interview.
Kevin was way ahead of the curve on this format. Every one of his shows should have a million+ views.
Damn Ed is cooler than I thought. What a pleasant human
Kevin, nice show, new sub brô
Thx 🤙
Can I get a "Whoa Bundy?"
Whoaaaaaaaaaa Bundy!
I always thought the episode where Peg was pregnant and she made Al and the kids say "Hail Baby" was hilarious. lmao!
Ricky Medrano Hells yah ..woooo bundy nukka!!!
Easily the most entertaining interview I’ve ever listened to.
Ed O'Neil vs Steven Segal .. my money on Al Bundy.
You vs Steven Segal .. and i bet all my money, house and my wife on you.
great show with a fantastic guest
he will ALWAYS be Al Bundy to me.
I see him in my mind as exhaling a sigh. Poor Al.
O'Neill's performance in "Blue Chips" is one of the few that has stuck with me where the actor just looks like a real person and not an actor.
Very true. He breaks a big story by asking a question at the end. Coach Bell just started confessing. lol
I know nobody’s probably monitoring these messages or comments, but I really miss this podcast. Got me through some really bad times.
That laptop sticker is kinda wholesome...lol.
This story about I wanna be around was amazing. I looked it up and one of the artists who recorded it was Frank Sinatra. So Sinatra records a song he inspired because of the anger a woman had against him. Amazing.
An actor named Eddy O'Neill was in "Deliverance." He played the deputy in the hospital at the end.
Ah, that was the reason. Thx for the info.
At the very end of this interview, did Ed just foresee the legendary OT win of Tim Tebow over the Steelers? That's brilliant!!!
Even more evidence NFL is scripted
Al Bundy is king!
Indeed that didn‘t feel like 2 hours. Great chat!
These stories are fucking amazing
Love that bit about John Lovitz!
Kevin come on! How am I just finding out you have a yet channel like this!!!!
Let's Rock!
Comes across as a decent man. Great stories.
I've watched around a hundred of these and just noticed Jamie's Snow White decal holding the Apple logo on her laptop.

I think this is the best one Kevin ever did.

sadie vemerstedt is the lady who wrote the song on the paper bag. She was given a third of the profits and a writing credit.
In terms of TV comedy shows, Ed O'Neals' Al Bundy is right up there with Jackie Gleason and Carroll O'Connor.
Now THAT was an interview!
Great interview - O'Neill has lots of stories to tell. Surprised to find him one of the better guests.
Comedian Gary Gulman is a pretty tall Jew...and very funny. This was a great meeting...love you both. So funny and clever and real. ❤❤
This is excellent
Ed ONeill is the best.
What a great story teller
Clips of this are all over the place all a sudden , so I look it up and it’s 11 years old

I came for Ed O’Neil.
I stayed for his neck swallowing the microphone every 5 minutes.

I would love to see Ed on Rogan discussing fighting
Great testament to the Gracie family and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I recommend it to anyone who wants confidence, and understanding of human conflict.

Absolutly love Dogs of War. Great movie.
Two words. "Disco Express."
Saw Kevin on a roast recently was pretty damn good, he did impressions.
After all these years I never knew he was a comedian just thought he was an actor.
I don't think he blinks at all during his cameo in The Spanish Prisoner. Loved that bit.
I love Ed O'Neal's episode of Miami Vice
