I have loved vintage flower frogs, even before I really knew what they were. They were so intriguing and when I finally got the courage to ask a vintage flea market vendor what they were, I was immediately in love.
I'm a sucker for a good flower arrangement and I was always in awe of how some of these arrangements were created. And then I discovered they can be easily done at home with vintage flower frogs.

You’re the first video I’ve seen show how to use them to arrange flowers. I’d love to find a frog and bowl/vase set!

My Mom was a big time floral arranger
Non professional. She used to make flower arrangements for church and local competitions so she had a vast array of frogs. I have a few left over from her collection.

My grandmother passed away in December and my parents inherited a few frogs. I haven’t heard of them until my parents got them and now you made a video on them. What a coincidence!

Flower foam be gone! These flower frogs are so nice! I've seen people use chicken wire/other pliable wire to sort of resemble the one you showed at 5:28 (just in case anybody is looking for an alternative/can't find the flower frogs). Haven't had the luck of coming across any myself but hopefully that changes soon.

I did an If icky bummer course bank in my day when I went to Japan. Loved it was not great at it. But loved how they used only three stems of flower or foliage to make a masterpiece it was brilliant.
I would often see these at thrift stores or antique shops and had no idea what they were until recently. I picked up one and am on the lookout for them now!

My mother had one like you have that is flat and fits over the vase. She used to put Pansy or roses in it. I have one of her flat ones but sadly not the bottom. Not sure what happened to them. I’m not on the lookout for more.
