I got into ioi because of jyp and pd 101 I liked ioi because they have a concept that is very common but it's like they changed that, ioi had alot of talented trainnes from everywhere. I got into the show mostly because of somi because she was on sixteen

It's not a mistake. They didn't choose to disband, you egg. The members were from different companies and the contract with Produce 101 was for a year. It's not like they made a conscious decision to disband on their own. Did you even watch the video?
Because they weren't given a chance to do so remember SNSD were famous for ITNW but they exploded in 2009 with Gee for 9 months of promotion I.O.I provided promising results
I hate how people call for an ioi reunion and but they don’t even support the branched off groups like weki Meki gugudan and dia edit : ok y’all - if you want an ioi reunion and complain about one , you love the girls im guessing . If you live the girls you should support them in their branched off groups !! Dia is close to disbandment and gugudan hasn’t had a comeback in over a year . What about Yeonjung? Yeonjung's group WJSN/Cosmic Girls were the most successful out of all the Post-IOI groups, in terms of sales they are more successful than Chungha and Somi but when it comes to popularity its Somi annd Chungha.

I.O.I was a forced to be reckoned with, most of the members became Main Dancers/Rappers/Vocalists of their respective groups after they disbanded, before Loona/SuperM, Produce groups were the Avengers of Kpop
Wjsn is doing fine and so was Pristin before Pledshit fucked that up. The rest I don't see why they aren't more popular but at least they've stayed afloat for a few years to put out some nice discographies.
People dont have to support every group in existence. If people dont like the songs of all the groups you mentioned, they dont have to support it. The rigging part happened during the early eliminations (for odd reasons), it's kinda obvious that there was no rigging since the general public was satisfied with the group's final line-up.

Some ioi stans literally don’t like to acknowledge that yeonjung and wjsn are doing FAR better then the other groups. So many thought they were gonna be the “flops” but now that they’re staying relevant and making a name for themselves it’s all of a sudden “wjsn who”

I'm disappointed Yeonjung's debut with WJSN wasn't mentioned when she left ioi temporarily..and her group was introduced poorly..she and her group was doing well like chungha.. she won mnet's V-1 vocal queen..she did lots of osts and her group is rising every year they even made 3 comebacks in 2019..their latest album as you wish has reached #1 on melon..and their album sales is on the top 5..BTW FYI Yeonjung's one of the MAIN VOCAL of WJSN not a lead vocal.

It was confirmed that the agencies who rigged the show, their trainees had already got eliminated on the first elimination of the episode of pd101 s1....the rest of the show was fair. So I dont see why they cant comeback when, thier agencies or themselves isnt part of it. Imma stick to waiting for their reunion.😊
Love all the girls but I'm more of a Yeonjung bias. ❤️❤️❤️ I've been supporting WJSN ever since Yeonjung joined. I'm happy that although she's the least popular member in IOI, at least, her group is doing really well rn. All those hates she got before took a toll on her and affected her confidence. Glad she's happier and getting recognition now. 😊
She ain't the least popular member, she's literally ranked #1 on their profile by votes and she's the most known out of the group because of her voice. Everyone loves her tbh, as they should.

Kwon Eunbin of clc would be in I.O.I but cube decided to announced her being part of clc before the finals and cause of it she was eliminated, but somi and she are like soul mates
IOI was the only girl group that had the same energy that Girls' Generation had. I will never not bring this up when talking about IOI. I miss them so much but it is what it is. Maybe SM's new girl group will have the same vibe cuz I'm so tired of the girl crush movement.

All of these groups were active/still popular when I first got into Kpop!Mblaq was one of the first groups I stanned. I'm so sad they're gone and that I never got to experience a comeback with SS501
@@Kai-chow I was shocked honestly. They were on a hiatus I knew. But I thought either they were gonna prepare for a comeback or pull off an Nu'est with joining the Produce series. I was actually looking forward to their comeback after watching 'Janus'.
Really appreciate the cover over IOI who was and still is my favourite group of all time. However it was unfortunate that some details were glossed over or misrepresented in this video. The biggest one for me would be how IOI is still a creation from the Korean and International public’s votes as the investigations has found that while manipulation was present, it only affected the elimination and not the final group. It’s also sad that things like Pledis’s mistreatment/ forced hiatus on PRISTIN wasn’t mentioned or how Somi went missing for almost 2 years instead of just moving companies other. The IOI contract was also slated for 2 full groups and 2 units which was why the 4 members returned to their companies (which Yeonjung wasn’t mentioned for an odd reason). But thank you for mentioning Jellyfish’s lack of support for gugudan’s career. Despite that I really appreciate the wrap up especially the segment about Downpour being the perfect ending and I really hope we still get to see IOI again. In the meantime I hope more people support the individual careers of all the members (including their acting careers).

I've been following Gugudan intensely since I started getting into KPOP early last year. I havent listened to that many groups yet but Gugudan's musicality and incredible vocals kept me hooked. I understand how disasterous their debut was but damn are their later albums super underrated imo. A few days ago their YT Channel finally updated after 10 months of nothing and leaving 2019 with no release others than Sejoeng's angelic return with her solo "Tunnel". Here's to hoping Gugudan 2020 comeback.
Unpopular opinion: IOI's disbandment was good for the girls since their careers are still continuing on. It may not be as successful but theyre growing on their own and thats okay.

Usually I agree and enjoy most of the things you say in this kind of videos, but, maybe because I have more knowledge in this group(s) than the other ones you talk about overall, there are a few things that frustrate me or that I simply don't agree with. Some are just small """mistakes""" I'm nitpicky about, or some details being missed - 2:15 Not sure why Nayoung is the only girl in which you didn't mention her company... - 3:15 Yeonjung also left temporarily to debut with Cosmic Girls! - 5:39 Yeonjung joined as a main vocalist (this is just my biased butt saying this but I was also surprised she wasn't mentioned in your list of the strengths of the group, people in produce literally talk about "the next yeonjung" when there are talented vocalists but ofc everyone in the group have their strengths). Cosmic Girls is also the post-I.O.I group (if we can really call it this way) who's doing the best currently, but it never was mentioned as every other post I.O.I activities are all getting praise in different ways... I guess Yeonjung was not your favorite lol - 7:45 There were avtually a few news before Somi's departure from JYP. JYP was reportedly planning to create his new girl group, which had rumors to have Somi in (thoughts amplified when the rumored members and Somi were often seen hanging out together, and it eventually got confirmed after her departure with debut project pictures having Somi instead of Yuna). So Somi leaving JYP was even more of a shock when the fans all thought that finally, she would debut. - I.O.I never coming back again? While I definitely understand where you're coming from, some fans seem to think otherwise. Somi's Instagram post for the new year have the first letters of each sentence making "IOI 2020 #seeUsoon" I guess some mistakes or details are details are skipped to make the video not too long, but it makes me a bit sad, especially regarding Nayoung or Yeonjung considering they were part of the least appreciated members, it feels like people really disregard them or do little research about them (I'm not saying that's necessarily your case though, I'm thankful you did this video and I assume that's a lot of work still, but such "mistakes" feel like a reminder of their underappreciation). Still, I'm really fond of your content overall, thank you for taking the time to make this! Please consider giving WJSN a chance too someday, they're working really hard too
Trainees that participated in the Produce series shed tears that Mnet caused. The tears in an episode’s worth is probably a gallon worth of tears. I just hope that they sort out the whole voting manipulation and X1 come back. Izone needs to comeback too! Fly High, One It, and WIZONE! 🦋
All the names have something to do with 101. IOI stands for Ideal Of Idol (it can't stand for a number) but its also taken from the name Produce '101'.
All PD groups name came from the name of series itself unlike IZ*ONE,,since their name didn't came to the series itself,,while I.O.I. WANNA ONE AND X1 are named after the show itself,,'IZ*ONE' meaning is the '12 girls become one',, IZ*ONE was formed in PD48,,but their name has nothing to do with the name of the series,,,

And I must agree as for China line but then again, it's WSJN, not Yeonjung alone. And you clearly employed Yeonjung alone as a subject since you said "has". By the way, I'm a Rocket Girls fan so no need to tell me about their success. That's not because of their korean group if they are this popular in China, this is because of their charisma alone. And Rocket Girls's popularity is huge and helped a lot WSJN. I mean, without their China line, it would have been difficult for WSJN to continue.

Whatever, I think Yeonjung is quite overshadowed by her fellow members, even if she is in WSJN or in I.O.I. So that's not the right thing to say she has the second biggest success after I.O.I which is clearly not. Because getting money from solo activities is way more productive than group activities. So as a matter of a fact, Sejeong still do better than Yeonjung. BTW I'm following every IOI groups. And I'm a Yoojung's fan. So I don't think I'm being biased here but just seeing which member does well compared to others.

I think the fatal mistake they did is they don't know how to use Sejeong and Mina popularity in Gugudan, Even Sejeong doesn't have a member to support her vocals, i know they have Nayoung, but she can't use her full potential bcs of their cutesy concept and her vocal is a mature type one so yeah that's about it

It was confirmed that the agencies who rigged the show, their trainees had already got eliminated on the first elimination of the episode of pd101 s1....the rest of the show was fair. So I dont see why they cant comeback when, thier agencies or themselves isnt part of it. Imma stick to waiting for their reunion.😊

Really appreciate the cover over IOI who was and still is my favourite group of all time. However it was unfortunate that some details were glossed over or misrepresented in this video. The biggest one for me would be how IOI is still a creation from the Korean and International public’s votes as the investigations has found that while manipulation was present, it only affected the elimination and not the final group.
It’s also sad that things like Pledis’s mistreatment/ forced hiatus on PRISTIN wasn’t mentioned or how Somi went missing for almost 2 years instead of just moving companies other. The IOI contract was also slated for 2 full groups and 2 units which was why the 4 members returned to their companies (which Yeonjung wasn’t mentioned for an odd reason). But thank you for mentioning Jellyfish’s lack of support for gugudan’s career.
Despite that I really appreciate the wrap up especially the segment about Downpour being the perfect ending and I really hope we still get to see IOI again. In the meantime I hope more people support the individual careers of all the members (including their acting careers).

I've been following Gugudan intensely since I started getting into KPOP early last year. I havent listened to that many groups yet but Gugudan's musicality and incredible vocals kept me hooked. I understand how disasterous their debut was but damn are their later albums super underrated imo. A few days ago their YT Channel finally updated after 10 months of nothing and leaving 2019 with no release others than Sejoeng's angelic return with her solo "Tunnel". Here's to hoping Gugudan 2020 comeback.

Hello! Usually I agree and enjoy most of the things you say in this kind of videos, but, maybe because I have more knowledge in this group(s) than the other ones you talk about overall, there are a few things that frustrate me or that I simply don't agree with.
Some are just small """mistakes""" I'm nitpicky about, or some details being missed
- 2:15 Not sure why Nayoung is the only girl in which you didn't mention her company...
- 3:15 Yeonjung also left temporarily to debut with Cosmic Girls!
- 5:39 Yeonjung joined as a main vocalist (this is just my biased butt saying this but I was also surprised she wasn't mentioned in your list of the strengths of the group, people in produce literally talk about "the next yeonjung" when there are talented vocalists but ofc everyone in the group have their strengths). Cosmic Girls is also the post-I.O.I group (if we can really call it this way) who's doing the best currently, but it never was mentioned as every other post I.O.I activities are all getting praise in different ways... I guess Yeonjung was not your favorite lol
- 7:45 There were avtually a few news before Somi's departure from JYP. JYP was reportedly planning to create his new girl group, which had rumors to have Somi in (thoughts amplified when the rumored members and Somi were often seen hanging out together, and it eventually got confirmed after her departure with debut project pictures having Somi instead of Yuna). So Somi leaving JYP was even more of a shock when the fans all thought that finally, she would debut.
- I.O.I never coming back again? While I definitely understand where you're coming from, some fans seem to think otherwise. Somi's Instagram post for the new year have the first letters of each sentence making "IOI 2020 #seeUsoon"
I guess some mistakes or details are details are skipped to make the video not too long, but it makes me a bit sad, especially regarding Nayoung or Yeonjung considering they were part of the least appreciated members, it feels like people really disregard them or do little research about them (I'm not saying that's necessarily your case though, I'm thankful you did this video and I assume that's a lot of work still, but such "mistakes" feel like a reminder of their underappreciation).
Still, I'm really fond of your content overall, thank you for taking the time to make this! Please consider giving WJSN a chance too someday, they're working really hard too

All PD groups name came from the name of series itself unlike IZ*ONE,,since their name didn't came to the series itself,,while I.O.I. WANNA ONE AND X1 are named after the show itself,,'IZ*ONE' meaning is the '12 girls become one',, IZ*ONE was formed in PD48,,but their name has nothing to do with the name of the series,,,

Because getting money from solo activities is way more productive than group activities. So as a matter of a fact, Sejeong still do better than Yeonjung.
