How can you not smile when watching that? What a fun video! This is an original song that Tim wrote. These guys know how to have fun without compromising their vocals. Rob is great with his whistling & love Adam's vocal percussion. Fun seeing Avi doing a cameo in this.
This is a Tim Foust original from years ago and with his boys from Home Free they knocked it out of park and I loved that Avi Caplan the bassist from PTX showed up for a quick cameo.
@@annakoch9972 In the bar he sets the champagne glass on the table that Tim knocks over, then flashes through the screen and at the end he is in the back on the bull.
A great song and video with so much humor!! Even though it was written by Tim before he joined Home Free, I think it fits so well with Home Free. It had to be that way Great whistle from Rob.
Glad you love these guys like us home fries there humor the best harmonies and beatboxer IMO try CANT STOP THIS FEELING. LOVE TRAIN. FOLSOM PRISON BLUES all 🔥
I enjoy your reactions. You seem so genuine. You need to give a reaction to Home Free's rendition of "Go Rest High on that Mountain". I cannot listen to it in the car because looking through water while driving isn't safe. Happens every time. Unbelievable is Austin Brown's (the tenor) solo of "Unchained Melody" and his smooth as silk voice.
LOL! Great reaction. You should check out Full of Cheer, also written by Tim. It's kind of a follow up to this one (Christmas, but who cares, it's hilarious). Thanks Greg
The guy that cut in front of them in the black shirt and hat is Avi Kaplan used to be a part of Pentatonixs. And featured in Ring of Fire. They filmed it the night before this video.
The guys really know how to have fun. The songs suggested are all great. If you have time later on, try...Good Ol Boys Good time...or... Some Girls Do..featuring Chance. Both lot of fun also. Thanks
If I remember correctly this was a song Tim wrote way back maybe even before he was actual full-time member of Home Free and living in L.A. working as a song writer for some company. He really didn't want to do anything country at that time but his boss told him he needed him to write some country stuff and it pissed him off. He ended up getting pretty drunk and wrote this song out of spite thinking they would hate it but the opposite happened, his boss loved it. I don't remember all of the details, but I do know that if you like Tim and Home Free then he did a "Tea Time Chat" interview with Elizabeth at the Charismatic Voice channel where he tells all. I enjoy your reactions to Home Free and glad to see you might have become what we call Home Fries, or fans of the guys. Everything they do is real vocal stuff and I saw them live 3 weeks ago and can verify they are a NOT TO MISS concert if they are near you. Post productions for albums are from the awesome work of producer Darren Rust's genious but it is still all just 5 voices.
Tim was working as a song writer a long while back and he was told to write country songs. At that point in his career, he felt he wanted to get away from country and do something else, so he decided to write the worst country song he possibly could. He accidentally created a song that everybody loves. So, yea. Couldn't do a bad song even if they tried. And Tim tried. lol This is just too funny. Such a fun song.
Hahaha, it’s such a funny one. Tim (the lead) wrote this one. His boss at the time wanted him to write country songs and he didn’t want to (at the time) so he got drunk and wrote this in one night. What’s funny is that it’s a big hit for them….hahaha. I love the lyrics. “He won’t see her pretty face at all since the prison’s no where near the mall”. Hahaha. Good reaction Greg and I subscribed. 😄
Another great reaction video - thanks! For more Home Free laughs check out their cover of "All About the Bass" and "Hillbilly Bone." For some amazing deep-voiced Tim checkout "Brothers in Arms" and for some wild Adam 'Harmonica' watch "Ain't Going Down Til the Sun Come Up" (The video is only on Facebook for some reason).
The man in the black cowboy hat who passed the by in the bar is Avi Kaplan (formerly of Pentatonix). This is such a fun song. In an interview on the 'net Tim explained that years ago he was working as a songwriter for someone, writing pop songs. His employer abruptly told him he wanted him to write country songs (which at the time he didn't want to do). That he went home, drank a bottle of whiskey and wrote this. Years later, Home Free convinced him to record it.
After 'Hillbilly Bone', I would STRONGLY suggest you do their cover of 'Some Girls Do' - I don't think I've seen any other reactor do it yet, but it's in the same vein and very good.
I'm a fan of old rock metal I love country rap you know like church rodnecks Calhoun these guys are just fun almost all the songs they make they just add some kind of goofiness to it somehow and it makes it even funnier not to mention most of songs are just well done I mean one of some of the best vocalist I've ever heard
Tim wrote this after being told by the man he worked for that he should be writing country songs and he wouldn't pay him again till he wrote one. he went home , drank a fifth of JD and wrote this song in one night. Amazing, funny and so incredibly entertaining. I had a neighbor like that once. By the time he got the credit cards and the check book away from her she had put them almost 15,000 in the hole. When he told her they were broke she actually said "I can't be out of money. I still have checks." I didn't know they made them that blond...
Greg, You've GOT TO check out a video of them live called, "Home Free's Guilty Pleasures HILARIOUSLY Derailed" 😂😂😂😂 It was filmed by a lady in the audience..not sure if they have it on their socials, although, I'm sure they do somewhere 😉..but it's terrific and they are just being them...which as you know is a GREAT THING!!! If I can find it I'll send you a link, but it was like 10yrs ago!
Love watching how much fun you have with their fun/silly ones. Plenty of those included with the more serious ones. They are such great guys. Tim also wrote a great one that's Christmas (old, old one) but worth watching anytime, Full of Cheer. Check it out!! I love a more recent one they did, Workin for a Living if you didn't watch yet. So many great ones! Take care.
The sequel to this, was a Christmas song, which Tim also wrote called Full of Cheer..... did he get rid of the wife...or not.... find out in the song! LOL
I wouldn't say most cases, dude! We're not all like that 🤣 Tim, the bass singer and lead here, wrote this as well as other gems. Austin, the high tenor with curly hair, is also an excellent song writer. I'm sure you'll get to some of their songs eventually. How Great Though Art is a must, both because of the incredible harmonies and the scenery of the video itself. Get ready to be moved. 🥰🙏
This needs to be followed by Gretchen Wilson’s ‘Redneck Woman’ video. She is polar opposite of this fellows wife. She does not require any of that stuff and she still looks great! Lol
If you haven't check out Good Ol Country Harmony... it's an original home free song...and Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer you will bust a gut with that one lol
Do the butts song if you haven't yet . Its pretty fire these guy are so talented. This is my 2nd video just watched man of constant sorrow had to sub loved the reaction getting ready to check out the channel now have a great day ✌
Hah !...love that you reviewed this one...I've got only one thing to say... SEPARATE BANK ACCOUNTS !... Best of luck young man...there's some self centered women out there..😄...🌿🌿🌿
Tim wrote this amazing song, it's a gem Tim also wrote a sequel to this called FULL OF CHEER
Full of Cheer is hilarious 😁😁
Yes, check out the sequel called "Full of Cheer"! Y'll love it!
How can you not smile when watching that? What a fun video! This is an original song that Tim wrote. These guys know how to have fun without compromising their vocals. Rob is great with his whistling & love Adam's vocal percussion. Fun seeing Avi doing a cameo in this.
Ok, now it's time to hear them sing "How Great Thou Art". Absolutely the best! They really sing their lungs out.
LOVE this Tim Foust original❣️ And is Rob Lundquist a master whistler, or what?!?
"When a Man Loves a Woman"!! You'll love it! ❤👍🎶 "Can't Stop the Feeling" is another great one! Wicked rhythm section breakdown that's jaw-dropping. 😉
This is one of my favorites of theirs along with It's All About That Bass and The Butts Remix.
This is a Tim Foust original from years ago and with his boys from Home Free they knocked it out of park and I loved that Avi Caplan the bassist from PTX showed up for a quick cameo.
He showed up 3 times in the video

I have only seen 2 times.
@@annakoch9972 In the bar he sets the champagne glass on the table that Tim knocks over, then flashes through the screen and at the end he is in the back on the bull.
This was filmed after the Ring of Fire video and Avi agreed to appear in this video while he was with Home Free

Great choice! Check out Home Free - Everybody walking this land, and also seven bridges road! Great covers 🙂
A great song and video with so much humor!! Even though it was written by Tim before he joined Home Free, I think it fits so well with Home Free. It had to be that way
Great whistle from Rob.
You definitely need to see the sequel: FULL OF CHEER.

And finally Mayday?
Just too much fun. Yep a reflection of real life !!!
This was so much fun! You had me laughing in the first minute and I'm still grinning now. Great reaction.

It's always so much fun to see a group willing to do something that's just for a few chuckles.
Great song Tim wrote🎉 loved the harmonies and beatboxing! Great reaction 🎉 I love Home Free😊
Love your reaction, same way I reacted the first time I heard this song!!
LOL! Great reaction. You should check out Full of Cheer, also written by Tim. It's kind of a follow up to this one (Christmas, but who cares, it's hilarious). Thanks Greg

HF forever!! Ty for your reaction!!
I love your reactions to Home Free❤
Great reaction! Please check out “When a Man Loves a Woman “, Adam’s beatboxing is amazing and “Working For a Living “ is hilarious!
You will love their cover of Megan Trainor's All About That Bass
Plus the outtakes/blooper reel, which I think is even funnier.
I'm loving how much you were laughing at this. It's so much fun. Awesome reaction!
Got to love them! Love your reaction!
Great original by Tim ❤️🎶🤔
The guy that cut in front of them in the black shirt and hat is Avi Kaplan used to be a part of Pentatonixs. And featured in Ring of Fire. They filmed it the night before this video.
Awesome music. Awesome Band!

That was great. Loved your reaction. Thx for sharing ♥.
I love watching your reactions especially to Home Free. I love your sense of humor and you're very handsome. 😁
I absolutely love Home Free, they are always entertaining.
Greg don't know how long you been doing reactions. I'm new to your channel. But man you're good!

This song is a lot of fun! 🤣
Tim wrote it as a joke because he didn't want to write a country song.😂😂
Tim wrote this for a joke and the guys loved it. And there’s a Christmas song that is a continuing to this song
Adam holds it together with his beat boxing but they all can beat box to some extent.
You are making me laugh so hard, and I have seen this one many times and still laugh. More funny is "The Butt Remix/medley"
Glad it finally came up. Wasn't available when you first posted it a bit ago. Thinking you'll enjoy it.
Glad I got to share this with you ..... reminds me of nearly every man I know.
Hahaha, it’s such a funny one. Tim (the lead) wrote this one. His boss at the time wanted him to write country songs and he didn’t want to (at the time) so he got drunk and wrote this in one night. "And I won't see her pretty face at all, cuz the prison is nowhere near the mall" bahahahahaha... that's a funny line.

Another funny one is their cover of All about that bass.
The walk-by near the end of the song is Avi Kaplan of Pentatonix. You can also see him in the far side of the room at the end of the video. Fun stuff.
