Tim's original - the song, singing, harmonies & beatboxing are, as always terrific. Did you notice the 3 cameos by Avi Kaplan? The hand that puts the champagne glass on the table is his, he walks past them and is also on the bull at the back.
I have of course noticed Avi walking by in front, and I've seen him on the mechanical bull, but I never knew that it was him putting the champagne glass on the table.
How can you not smile when watching that? What a fun video! This is an original song that Tim wrote. These guys know how to have fun without compromising their vocals. Rob is great with his whistling & love Adam's vocal percussion. Fun seeing Avi Kaplan doing a cameo in this.
Tim said he wrote this song while extremely intoxicated to satisfy a song writing contract. Needless to say, the song was not accepted, and HF made it into one of their most popular videos.
The interesting thing about Home Free is they keep you entertained because they keep things fresh and they constantly are running the gamut from humor to very sobering releases that match the wide range of music they are producing. Truly exquisite entertainers that can everyone where they are at in life. Keeps their concert experience fresh and guessing what the playlist will be. ❣️ RHN, thank you for your reaction, always enjoyable.
Thank you for sharing your day with us! Delta Dawn is really well done and beautiful! Their first coming out of lockdown song was One Man Band. Love it! Simple harmonies. Moonshine is another simple yet beautiful one. Hillbilly Bone is a straight up country party with some great scenery and some comedy. Brother is hilarious and ohhh so good if you like watching Amberly beat the snot out of Austin). Coming up on mother's day I'd recommend Mom, To the moon and back, Starship (you get to see Rob's kids!), when will I be loved and when you are down and blue, Everything will be okay. For appreciation of women Woman Amen/Female is soooo good! Anti-bullying, Don't laugh at me is wonderful. Romance is Cover Me Up, Unchained Melody and God Blessed the broken road. Goofy you have All about that bass (watch the original first since it is a tasteful parody) and Workin for a living. On April fools look up their Bohemian rhapsody they released with 2 others on April 1 3 years ago (it's short). Then listen to Never gonna give you up as a follow up. That is a great combo for one show. And Ain't going down til the sun comes up is not on YT but WOW! Country road, Boondocks and American Pie are classics they did so well. Hope that gives you lots of ideas. I'm sure you will come up with something. Stay sweet and beautiful!
This is one of Tim’s masterpieces. Great video, great harmonies and they even had Avi come walking across the video in the bar! How fun is that! Good job Red! Low bass Kenneth! Check out their video of How Great Thou Art! Amazing vocals and in the middle Adam Rupp sings a little solo!
Rob's whistling is wondrous! The story behind this song is hilarious: Many years ago Tim's employer told him to write a country song but he didn't want to. So he came up with the "worst" (his words) country song he could think of--and to this day it is one of his most popular originals 😆 #HomeFree
It’s a funny story too about the song. Tim used to live in LA and was writing songs. His boss wanted him to write a country song and he didn’t want to but the boss insisted so Tim went home and got drunk and wrote this in one night. It’s a big hit for him too. So funny and you laughed at the lyrics I laughed at, “I won’t see her pretty face at all since the prison’s no where near the mall”. Hahaha. Just too funny. Good one Red!😍😄
I love the moment after Avi walks past when Tim looks over like "hey, was that -- oop, song's still going." The level of detail in their videos is truly impressive. As far as song picks, I guess I'll keep going with "9 to 5" until you succumb, although I'd be okay with "Brother" too.
Lotta fun here! So many folks are recommending others if you're looking for more chuckles. I bet their version of "Life Is A Highway" will do the trick! As always Ms. Red, Bravo!
They are dorks in the best way !!! I should know as I am one !!. I know you have said you don't care for this one but it is funny Life IS A HIGHWAY but really good. ALL ABOUT THAT BASS and The Best IMHO Rob on lead is NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP Austin is a riot as is Tim I Love to see you laugh Red ❤❤❤❤#reaction #homefree #homefry #homefreereaction #redheadedneighbor #bestreactor #beautifulcountrygirl
I believe that "goofballs" describes their humor! The unofficial follow-up to this song is Full Of Cheer (who cares if it isn't Christmas time!). And Brother is another goofball one, although it is beautifully sung. As long as you're reacting to a HF song, I'm happy! 😊
Speaking of funny guys - Austin just posted a YT short (probably in his TT and/or IG, too, but I haven't had time to go look) following up on the Baby and a Bobcat theme......
18 days away from seeing them again, though we have to travel it is worth it. We have near nothing local so we order most everything and Amazon seems to be the worst but sometimes have to deal with it when I order very large things.
I notice that you haven’t gotten into Chance leads, or Chance’s solo work. First I’m making recommendations of him with HF-“I Can’t Outrun You “, 5 part harmony, Chance’s lower register, hauntingly beautiful, and Chance directed the video ( it was his project). “Cover Me Up”, and let it play out as there is a surprise. “Some Girls Do”, “Yours”. For his solo work, he has 2 UA-cam channels- Adam Chance and Adam Chance-Topic. On the topic channel you will find “Far From Any Road”- it has a western feel, Adam Rupp provides percussion and bass guitar, as Chance plays acoustic and electric. On Adam Chance channel there are several-“Song for Home”, which Chance wrote, and is absolutely beautiful. “Driver’s License “, his latest “Mrs. Potter’s Lullaby”. And with the Hound and the Fox is “Wayfaring Stranger”. If you go to the Hound and the Fox’s channel you’ll find, with Chance, “Sound of Silence “, “Hurt”, The Whistling Lad”, “My Mother Told Me.” The Hound and the Fox are well worth discovering. I find that Chance is often overlooked and not requested of reactors as much. I don’t understand it, because his voice is so smooth, warm and enveloping. He is a storyteller, and and simply impressive.
Thanks Red needed this one , my aunt on my dad's side passed away unexpectedly. My Dad's only sibling. Prayers would he be appreciated for her family who are taking it hard

Have you ever listened to Johnny Cash singing 'The Chattanooga City Limit Sign'? I've always loved this humorous one from him. Tim has some very nice ones he's wrote like 'Snow Globe'. Hopefully we'll get many more from all of them.
The overalls that Tim is wearing in this are the same ones worn buy Rob's overweight friend at the end of the butts melody/remix they just cut off the legs.
Still going through your back catalogue so don’t know if you’ve already reacted to it, but I noticed on your Voiceplay “Hoist the colours” video that you loved their make up. Have you seen their cover of “In The Hall Of The Mountain King”? The makeup in that is crazy, as well as it being an amazing song Also, with PTX, you have to listen to Hallelujah and the live version of Aha. You will get well and truly “Mitch-Slapped”
Red, did you notice at 5:20 the guy walking through? That was the one and only Avi Kaplin and then again in the back at 5:38 raising his glass while sitting on the mechanical bull, thought it was funny since you mentioned taking the world by the horns!! lol
I can get stuff delivered from prime usually overnight and sometimes (if I buy enough that qualifies) same day. It might depend on location. There is a big Amazon warehouse about 45 minutes away from where I live.

Tim said he wrote this song while extremely intoxicated to satisfy a song writing contract. Needless to say, the song was not accepted, and HF made it into one of their most popular videos.
Depends if you consider "a fifth of Jack" to be extremely intoxicated. Glad to finally see this!
You don't necessarily have to wait until Christmas for the follow-up called "Full of Cheer".
They had a ball making this video! I love that Rob starts whistling while in the boat with no paddle…”Up a creek with no paddle”!
A Tim original!! Love this song so much!! They make me smile everyday. Thanks Red! ❤

The Avi walkthrough was a fun touch. I think they had just finished The Ring Of Fire.
BTW, another story/talking song they do is "The Mississippi Squirrel Revival", which is hilariously animated.
