Thank you for this video, so glad you pay attention to lifestyle/household tech! I love these kinds of things and since I am finally finishing my studies and preparing to get my own apartment these videos are very helpful to me.
I just ordered mine. I hate seeing a black block on the wall. This is why I opted for a projector instead. However, with a projector I need to leave an open space on the wall for viewing. Therefore, I can't put up artwork, and if i do,, Id have to take it down when I set up the projector. This is the perfect solution! I have not had a TV in 15 years. Can't wait to display the different artwork and my own photography. Thank you for the review.
I just saw this in somebody's house and I was like "Wow that is an incredible photo on the wall!". Then they told me it was a TV and I literally found that hard to believe. Had to go right up to it to see the pixels. Unbelievable
Thanks for the video! You suggest to include a sound bar if you're in the living room. Does it mean that the sound is bad? Or you're assuming a bigger living room will need a sound bar? Thanks!
Hey can you use art mode while using your Apple TV remote? I don’t want to have two remotes in rotation and definitely prefer Apple TV interface and remote
I just purchased a Samsung frame tv 75inch 2021, I'm having issues with the motion sensor i have it on high it still doesn't pick up anyone in the room, i have to use the remote to awake the art and screen.
I enjoyed your review and agree, however, I purchased my '23 model Frame largly due to it's new matte finsh, as I was getting crazy reflections from my qled and worse from lgc3. The Frame pictures looked great, but not clear tv pics...back to the qled. Peace. f
How much power does it actually draw when in art mode ? Isn't that an obvious thing to check for ? You highlight the "environmental friendly" packaging, but skip this obvious environmental (and monetary) concern ?
Generally it takes 168 watts somewhere but the coolest thing is while on art mode it consumes half of the power because processors Leds, HDR and most of it on standby mode and yes it got motion sensor so when no ones in the room it goes to sleep mode anybody moved in turn on as an painting or a nice family portrait click the link bellow to know more about the frame ua-cam.com/video/6HSsNLpH56o/v-deo.html

Thank you so much for this wonderful review. Can you share more information about the refresh rate for 55' TVs? I was thinking about the 50in but would love to read more / hear more about going just a bit up in size. I tried googling for this but didn't find more.

I am a photographer and I read that I could upload and display my own work on the Frame. Great feature, IF YOU ONLY WANT TO DISPLAY ONE PHOTO EVERY 10 MINUTES. That's right. You can upload photos, but it will only show one photo every ten minutes. No skip option, no right arrow, nothing. I never dreamed the display functionality would be so incredibly limited. There are tons of forums with complaints about this, but no response from Samsung. Customer support is not there. Prepare for automated encounters like this: Please tell me why you are calling? I have a problem with my Samsung Frame. We're so sorry your refrigerator is not working. Let us connect you with someone.

My wife made me purchase this for the living room…. It’s beautiful, but the lack of local dimming is absolutely asinine. I can get a sub 500 dollar Hisense that has local dimming, but not a 1700 dollar Samsung? Looks like I’ll stick to the LG OLED in the bedroom. 😢

65" The Frame LS03, Doesn't work as advertised, Samsung support is non existent. I've had a 3 month battle with Samsung support, they really are just robots who don't know anything about the products they are selling! they just hand you off to the next robot who reads the same trouble shooting cheat sheet. The TV won't even turn on, It failed while on a video call with Samsung, they witnessed it fail, and the tech support won't come out and repair it. When it did turn on The Motion sensor in Art mode does not work as advertised and when questioned about this the tech representative said we have to wait for other people to complain before we fix it! One correction: the optical port is OUT, not in. That is necessary in case you want to feed the sound from the TV to a receiver.

curious what the power draw is in art mode vs tv mode
Watched somewhere that it's 30% of the power used when watching movies etc.

Thanks Michael for an unbiased review of this TV.
So when you "turn off" the TV it goes automatically into art mode? Or you have to press a button or get into a certain menu?
Do you have to pay the subscription art mode fee to put ur own photos on display?
No, you don’t need to pay for your own art
