It would be nice if there was a mount to allow you to manually turn the TV 90º so as to view vertical images. Probably something the DIYer could retro fit themselves.
If you are using this just for art, the 43" is a good size. Use it in your hallway, entrance. If you go larger then your probably going to want to use it as a tv/art display.
Nice review. Only mistake was the one connect cable is not "in wall" rated in the USA (not sure about everywhere else). So in the USA you cannot hide the cable in the wall unless you want to risk voiding your home insurance if there is a fire.
Samsung used to make an "In wall" cable but no longer does. I talked to customer service and parts dept. at Samsung and nobody knows anything. Nice job Samsung. So if you want the wire in wall hire an electrician to do the work and insulate wire if you concerned about home owners insurance. Lots of people put the wire in wall.
Is the 32” a completely different screen from the larger screen as was the case for 2020 model ? Or is it a smaller version of the larger screens for 2022
@@anuragmeshram4323 Hardware is the best. Only Sony has a better software. LG's UI is on the par. So not many options anyway. At least after 2 years, my TV is a bit more stable. It doesn't loose Samsung's own soundbar as often. Over 2 years, I had to reconnect my soundbar over 10 times along with other issues. Anyway, you will see. The core UI is back to 1990 with just nice graphics on the top.
My mum wants this tv because normal tv's look ugly to her but the mediocre black levels make me want her to get something better....Surprised someone hasn't done the picture frame thing in OLED or miniLED at least....
Great review! Did you have any issues with the ambient light sensor when adding the 4 piece frame? I see some have issues in art mode that it is not dimming enough compared to ambient light level.
I love this TV (I have the 75") however, the Art Mode software is absolutely terrible. There is practically no way to easily discover art that you would like to display. There is no search feature (other than a listing of artists), that should include keywords, categories, color mood and many other types of breakdowns that should be there when you pay for a subscription. I would also like to create scheduling of images and have other simple features that any normal app designer would think of in a few minutes, But for some reason Samsung has hamstrung the interface. I generally only choose from the curated images for a particular month, since it's almost impossible to find anything good. There are also some amazing You Tube nature type videos that aren't distracting that I like.
Can you use this art mode with an external input. Ie we have a lovely family album that cycles on our 4k Apple TV. I don’t want to look at Samsung crap. I want to look at our “art”. No one can answer this for me, and I would love to know :) is there anything that bugs you about the tv. About to click buy on it.
@ibsn87 u can upload your own family images. There is a website to convert images perfectly suited for the Frame. However, I don't think you could have hdmi input for art mode.
@@Junispro31 thanks. That might help someone else. Personally I didn’t end up getting this TV. It’s got by far the worst actual LCD panel for the price bracket. It’s edge lit not back lit for starters. As a result, it’s quite a dark panel compared to others, (not as good for a bright room…. HOWEVER the Matte finish is a plus that no other TVs have which I do like). The main nail in the coffin for me was Samsungs clunky slow software. And it was trying to sell you things while you use it. Wtf. Although it’s flush on the wall. Too many negatives and a price above some other better featured TVs with far quicker and superior software driving it. Not for me! (I was also informed that Samsung warranty resolutions had been very slow and painful in my area). Cool concept, I just wish it wasn’t Samsung executing it.

It has a lot of unique features when you add all of it in a single package that you dont find in other lines, even more expensive ones. It's a good TV in its own right, so if you like the format and the matte screen, go for it. For that amount, you might be able to get a better model though strictly for watching TV and movies, depending on the market you're in and what's available.
@@PorshaHomeTheater Yeah, I recently bought one. It's nice but my biggest complaint is the operating system. It's overly complicated and it doesn't behave consistently. Really frustrating. The image quality isn't top notch but good enough. Other than that it's a really nice device.

just get a regular tv, unless your mounting it on a fireplace. Best to get regular tv, since most regular tvs have better sound.
